R&D made two trips to my home. The first trip my garage light was repaired. I have an older home so the ceiling fan dimmer switch was repaired on the second trip along with installing the porch light fixture. I plan to use R&D for any future electrical needs, hopefully there will be none.

They were good. They were really responsive and fairly priced. The guy that came out seemed to be really knowledgeable and he talked with my husband about what he was doing so my husband could fix it himself if we have the same problem again.

I spent about $200 on that job. I thought that they were great. He is obviously self employed and came when he said he would. It was an emergency because part of the house was out of power, so they came right away. I have some other issues with the house, so he is going to be doing some more work for me because the house is not up to code and he told me that. I think his biggest problem is that he has more business than he can handle, so he is running behind.

Bob came over this morning after our third floor water heater decided to explode! We had water running down through our light fixtures in two rooms. I wanted to have an electrician take a look to make sure it would be safe to proceed with other steps of the clean-up. Bob arrived within minutes of the call and evaluated the situation. He determined it was safe and gave me instructions on how to proceed. I really appreciated it- especially after making four phone calls trying to get an electrician to come over--- looks like I found a new electrician! I

Bob was very responsive and punctual. He was very thorough and was able to figure out the problem quickly. His rates are very reasonable and I was very impressed with the quality of his work. I will definitely be using his services again and will be recommending him to anyone in need of an electrician. Thank you, Bob.

Bob has been here at least half a dozen times within the last month. He is outstanding and I wouldn't keep using him if I didn't think he was great. He is timely and professional. He is reasonable price wise. He works quickly and he's neat. He seems very trustworthy to have around. He is very, very personable. I ran into him at the grocery store and he remembered me and spoke. He is excellent. He is so good that when he was here last week, he was fixing one little thing that was not his fault. I had other workers in the house and they had disassembled something he did. He came and put it back together. It took about an hour and he didn't charge me. That's how nice he is.

Bob came over right away to give me an estimate. He's a congenial person and good at explainingthree breakers, but decided to hold off on that project and focus on getting some outlets repaired instead. Bob pointed out some electrical issues in my house that are not up to code. I plan to have him back next week to fix those things. The job went smooth from beginning to end and I plan to hire him again next week to take care of the things he found that aren't up to code. He said these things are common in 90 year old homes, but should not be neglected. I'm glad I found a good electrician that I trust.

Bob had previously changed all our two-pronged receptacles to three-pronged, and he found that our rooms upstairs were not grounded. He came out to ground the two rooms and did it in the time he said he would. He also found some issues that were not up to code, and he resolved the issues. He did an excellent job, super nice guy, very professional and we will continue to call on him in the future.

We bought a new house that needs some updates, and most of the electrical outlets were two-pronged. He replaced all the outlets throughout the house to three-pronged, and fixed a few other problems as well. He did a fantastic job, was very pleasant, charged fairly for service and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Bob came to my house to access the situation and spent about 45 minutes checking everything out. He then came the following Saturday to do the job. He showed up on time, completed the job in the estimated time frame. Bob was very nice and professional to work with. It took him about 4 hours to complete the job.

They did a great job. Very professional. Really good prices. They put three cans in brought lighting in from an outside switch.

Called to have Bob check out my sconce. He took with him so he could locate parts. Called about week later to let me know what my options were since parts aren't made anymore. We decided on which option would be best. It took another few days to finally connect so he could stop by to install the reassembled sconce. I had hoped he could find the actual parts needed, but so goes the life of repairing a 70 year old house.

Called R&D Electrical on the morning of Jan. 28th ref. a breaker going bad in my main power box in my home. Bob answered the phone promptly and I explained my problem. After several ideas of what my problem was, Bob said he would be out after finishing another job he was on. Indeed he called when he finished the other job as he said he would and came to my home and took care of the problem. My diagnosis was correct but he also saw where I wasn't running the correct size for the circuit and he took care of it for me. His price was reasonable, he was true to his word, clean and professional and I will use him again and recommend him to others. I also might add that I called and left two messages with JC Electric at 7am, being that I had used them before and got their information from A.L. some years ago and didn't even get so much as a return phone call. It's 4:15pm and still no return call. R&D has my business from this day on. Thanks Angie's List!

I called Bob to get an estimate on the work to be performed. He estimated that it would take approximately 3 hours to install. He arrived on-time on the day the work was to be performed. Installation went smoothly. It took a little longer to install than the estimate given, but he did not charge for the additional time. I will use his services again and recommend him to others.

He came one day to see what we needed to have done, gave us an estimate of how much time it might all take, and how much he charged per hour ($50). On the day of the job, he was at the house at the stated starting time; he ended up going for parts twice, but didn't charge us for the time involved. All work was done satisfactorily, he cleaned up everything including sawdust. He was very pleasant to work with and gave us any details we asked for, not just about our job but about electricity in general.

Bob said we would need to have a trench dug to lay the wire and suggested we get our yard people to do it. We did and he came back promptly to hook everything up. We were very pleased with his timely attention to our needs. We thought the price reasonable and we shall definitely use him again!

Very pleased with the work. Bob did a very neat and nice job. He is thorough and quality conscious. He cleaned up problem areas with the existing wiring and took time out to explain what he was doing. I would highly recommend him to others.

BOB IS A MASTER ELECTRICIAN AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEER. HE IS VERY METHODICAL AND SAFETY CONSCIOUS. HAS VERY HIGH STANDARDS TO COMPLETE THE WORK PROPERLY. VERY KNOWLEDGABLE OF SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL PLANS AND WIRING IN OLDER HOMES. I PLAN TO UTILIZE BOB''S SERVICES FOR A SECOND SET OF PROJECTS. TOTALLY TRUSTWORTHY.
