I called Bob after my regular electrician wasn't available for several weeks. I am selling my home and needed some electrical work done very quickly as part of the inspection. Bob called me back right away and we went through what was on the report and he gave me an estimate. He also made himself available on the date I needed to have the work done. The repairs didn't take long and the price was excellent. Bob also provided a detailed invoice that I could give to the buyer.

Bob was responsive to my initial call and gave me a ball-park estimate over the phone. When we scheduled the work, he was prompt and went right to work after we did a walk through of the job. He was very patient, and did a lovely job of installing a restored outdoor fixture. Also gave me good advice regarding a couple of wiring questions that I had. His charges were fair reasonable for the work done. I would definitely hire Bob again.

Bob was perfect, worked hard, quickly and efficiently, did a great job in all respects.

What makes him special is that he does a careful diagnosis of the problem and fixes only what needs to be fixed, he doesn't just replace things. Case in point: Outdoor security light many years old was no longer responding to sunlight, one of the fixtures appeared to be burned out. He replaced the photo cell instead of replacing the whole light and now it works great. Another exampleThe costs involved are typically for his time, not for parts. He also is very careful about safety and draws attention to potential problems. Case in point: Porch electrical fixture installed by someone else apparently is not grounded. He explained how we can still use this fixture and what we might need to do if we sell the house.

Bob does great work at a reasonable price. He's done work for us on 2 different houses and we've been pleased each time. Highly recommended.

Replied promptly to email sent through A's List site. Was able to do estimate and work within a couple days. Spent a lot of time explaining options including most cost-effective. Explained 2 other problems and what to do about them. Quick, clean, very professional. Passed dog test - dog liked him! Will definitely recommend to friends and will contact for any future electrical needs. Cost was actually less than the estimate.

He is timely, diagnoses the problems first. He is just wonderful.

He came out when he said he would and was on time. He took care of one problem and told me an issue regarding some lights that I had a handyman installing to help the handyman install properly. I didn't have to pay him for his assessment. I appreciate his honesty and professionalism.

I chose them because they work on Saturdays and do not sub contract. He had a very reasonable price, was very friendly, and seemed very knowledge. I used other electricians in the past but he is the first one I feel comfortable contacting in the future.

Mr. Dennis came to my residence was here a total of 15 minutes, charged me $100.00. Informed me that my panel needed a replacement part. Mr. Dennis stated he would get me a price for the replacement part, but he never did. I placed a follow up call to Mr. Dennis but did not receive a return call.

He was cognizant of my budget and suggested various options in some situations. I appreciated that. I think I've already answered this in the box above.

He arrived when he promised and was diligent in the work to be completed. His friendliness didn't interfere with his efficiency.

They did come out to my home to give a competitive estimate. I just went with a different company. They were able to come out next day after I called as far as for the estimate goes. Bob was the one that came out to my home. He was great. I appreciated his time.

Overall good experience. Easy to get a hold of, responded to emails very quickly. Family operation so it was nice to have a local person do the work.

Mr. Dennis was prompted and quickly assessed what he needed to take down and install four new light fixtures. He brought his own ladder and quickly went to work. He took special care to inquire of us to the exact height we wished a staircase light fixture should hang, which we appreciated greatly.

We were forced to buy a new range at the last minute before leaving our house in the hands of our daughter for a year while we are out of the country. When we brought it home from the store, we realized that it was more complicated plugging the new one in than we thought. We have used this company before so I called Bob Dennis on a Sunday and asked if he could come over and install it for us. And he did. He also found that the original wiring in our 1928 house was really frayed so he offered to replace that as well.

When Bob is not busy, he is professional and responsive. On the basis of a small job he did for us last year, I wanted him to do another and bigger job this summer. But he has been busy and has been almost impossible to tie down. I was prepared to work with him on timing and even to book him several weeks in advance, and after waiting a long time for him to get back to me, he did eventually come to the house and look at the job. He then promised to send me a quote, but has sent nothing. Over the last few weeks, he has probably responded to me at a ratio of one reply for every 3-4 voicemails or e-mails I have sent him. Basically he has been wasting my time and has acted unprofessionally in spite of my patience and willingness to work with him. This is a shame, because he could be the Go To Electrician for the Meridian-Kessler area if he just organized himself better. As it is I am no longer interested in having him do any work for me, and would warn anyone who is thinking about using his services to be prepared to be given the run around.

Bob was prompt and got to work right away. He was upfront that it would be a matter of finding the faulty outlet, switch or light. Given the age of my house, and some of the "improvements" made along the way, it took a while. Bob was very methodical, professional, and thoughtful. I think it may have taken longer than expected, so he offered a discount for his time. Once the faulty outlet was found, it was replaced.
