My overall experience with them was excellent.

Angie's List made me check a box stating I wanted to submit yet another report for Bob Dennis in the past six months. I hire him for anything electrical, no matter how big or how small. Sometimes he is over here once or twice a month to make lighting upgrades to my house! One of my next projects for him is exterior lighting. We're already talking about the plan. If you live in Meridian Kessler or Butler Tarkington, Bob should be your electrician because he will probably wave the trip charge like he does for me because I am close. I've hired him so many times now (after first finding him on the list), that we are now friends. He's competent and very serious about his trade. If you live in one of our old homes, have him come over and go over everything. He will tell you exactly what needs done, his hourly rate is very reasonable, and once he fixes your problems you will both sleep well at night without worry. Bob is not expensive and the peace of mind is worth every penny. If there is a problem, well you have the direct line to the owner and he will make it right because he's Angie's List.

Bob did the work exactly as we discussed. Excellect, detailed workmanship. No damaged to walls, and he cleaned as he worked. There was no mess.

Bob is awesome and the only contractor I trust to do my electric. I own a 1921 house on Central Avenue in Meridian Kessler. Bob lives close by in a similar aged home on 49th Sreet. He services historic neighborhood clients including Meridian Street mansions that were built with 1920's electrical technology. He knows our houses. I hire him for everything involving electricity in my house no matter how small. Throughout the years, he is learning every nook and cranny of wiring in my house. His next scheduled projects for me are porch and exterior lighting. Bob is reliable, competent, and a joy with whom to collaborate on your home's lighting and electrical needs. Thumbs Up! Every time! All the time!

It went well the gentlemen was very knowledgable and explained everything he was doing and the cost and time associated.

We had been worried that our closet lights (that went on with the door opening) were dangerous, since there was exposed wiring. Bob agreed and replaced them with good wiring, porcelain receptacles and beaded chains. In our old house from 1928, every project no matter how little can be difficult but Bob always succeeds. We had some receptacles that only took two pronged plugs that Bob found were actually grounded, so he put in three pronged receptacles in these. We have used him for small projects before and will happily rely upon him again. He is realistic about what can be accomplished on a budget and never tries to sell us more than we need.

The detective work proceeded slowly but eventually answers were found. Power was restored to the garage after finding an underground wire that was no long functional and coincidentally finding a second wire that was useable in the same conduit. The cause of the odor of burning insulation appears to have been found and identified somewhat serendipitously. A trial and error approach was used to determine that the breaker was not the problem The final solution is yet to be obtained however since this will be a larger job. The porch light repair was well done and timely.

Bob always showed up on time, calling when on his way, and began work immediately. In addition to completing the work we discussed, we reviewed everything from re-wiring the house to the installation of a new panel to replace the fuse box. His professionalism and price were excellent which I'm sure accounts for having him to schedule a few weeks out. When going back to Indiana I'm sure there will be more work at my house for this professional.

Everything went great as normal. I trust Bob and genuinely enjoy having him work around my house. I trust he knows what he is doing. He is very experienced at working on old homes in Meridian Kessler and elsewhere. I still need to bring him back to do a motion detector for me. He's been working on my house in stages. I think his pricing is reasonable and he's very honest. Since I found Bob on Angie's List I won't let handymen install light fixtures anymore. I have Bob take care of all matters concerning electricity in my home.

We decided to remodel one of the bedrooms in our 1928 house. We wanted to replace the ceiling fixture with one we found at a garage sale. We were worried about whether we could install it properly, some parts even seemed to be missing and we weren't sure about how to ground it. We were in the middle of a painting project with a deadline and wanted it done the same day if possible. He came over the same day I called and found a way to install it.

Bob Dennis returned my call right away [on a Saturday]. Called ahead on the day of the appointment and arrived punctually. Very personable, professional and efficient. Waived the service call without my asking because I found him on Angie's List. We discussed more electrical work to be done in the future given his expertise with older homes. I will definitely call him again.

He was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the whole process. He suggested an option we didn't know was available. He was one of the best service providers we've ever had.

Bob worked carefully with me to provide a detailed receipt to take to small claims court where I am suing another electrician who is incompetent. Bob cleaned up the work of another guy who left two open live wires which could have caused electrocution or a house fire. Bob is conscientious, professional, honest, and caring. He is proficient with wiring in historic homes. I will never use another electrician. He's the best.

The whole job went very well. The motion detector works, and the outlet, that had beewn damaged by rain previously, survived the downpours. Very plaesed with his work.

Great! Bob has done work for us in the past. He is always responsive and is flexible in accomodating the availability of the customer. Bob is easy to work with and is very knowledgable.. While he was here he noticed a breaker that needed replaced and did that also,

Dimmer switch was replaced, wiring determined to be ok and diligently searched for appropriate decorative knob. Feasibility estimate was such that alternate power source was deemed too expensive versus frequency of outages. Will return to replace porch light fixture when weather is warmer.

Bob provided me a quote and preformed the work for that amount. He explained what he was doing, and fixed the problems requested. Areas he worked in were left neat and clean.

Bob was patient, punctual and detail oriented. He was knowledgeable and explained every step of what he was doing. He went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with the job.

He is very reasonable and nice to work with.

He's great to work with. I found him straight forward, honest and very professional. He's licensed and all that stuff that's kind of important. He doesn't do Friday afternoons so he can be with his daughter, which is cool. I'm not calling my old company (franchise) back for electrical work when I need it. I really like working with small, independent operators like Bob. There are untrustworthy one-man-bands out there, but Bob isn't one of them.

Called Bob in mid-April; he was pretty busy and we missed connections the first time I made an appt. However, based on reports he seemed knowledgeable about older homes and aluminum wiring in particular, so I stuck with him. Glad I did- he was very professional, friendly and knowledgable! He checked out some questionable wiring (evidence of previous scorching) in the attic and the bathroom in addition to installing the light. He eased my mind about our aluminum wiring- used some special connectors specifically made for that. I would recommend him to anyone (but call well in advance if you can).

One evening we had popping, sparks and smoke coming out from the disposal area under the kitchen sink. Oddly, we could not cut the power to the disposal area unless we turned the whole house power off. So after spending the night in a house without any power, it was a blessing when Bob showed up the next morning to fix the problem. As it turned out, the problem was two-fold. Bob found that a short had occurred in an incorrectly stripped and wrapped wire going into the disposal, and he found that the circuit was incorrectly wired, so that the short would not be able to trip any circuit breaker, and the circuit could not be turned off with just one breaker. Bob corrected all the problems. Needless to say, without Bob's help, we could have lost our home.

Neil and Bob kept eliminating the potential problems until they found the solution. They were neat, friendly, and yet very professional. We were very pleased with the service and would recommend them to anyone who needed electrical service. The appointment was made for 10:00 a.m. on August 18th and at 10:00 a.m. they were driving in the driveway.

The job went very smooth despite my having some other work done during the same time they were at my home. I would highly recommend this company. I have no complaints and I am very pleased with the work. I will definitely refer them to others and use them in the future when necessary. It's always good to work with companies who are honest, fair, know their craft, and professional. Unfortunately, these types of companies rarely exist today. Thank you.

Amazing experience. He charged me a very fair price, and was obviously skilled at what he does. I called him yesterday and he called me back this morning. He set up a time to come out and see what was going on. He called before he came and was right on time. He looked at my circuit breaker and tested the conductivity, realized that I needed a new breaker, so he went to Loews and bought it. Upon his return he quicklyl installed the breaker and fixed another problem that I hadn't originally planned on. He gave me an estimate for some other work that I would like to complete in the future. I was very happy with the work that he completed and the ease and efficiency in which he did so. I have found myself an Electrician for the future!
