Went very well. My wife says he was very polite and courteous. Apparently the deal we signed up for didn't exactly cover the work we needed but he was nice enough to run to the hardware store to get the parts and fixed it for us at no additional charge. Very awesome. Would recommend these guys 10 times out of 10.

I declined the work because I did not want a hole cut in my ceiling.

It went very well. Jason and Reggie were both very professional, thorough and explained everything to me that needed to be done. Everything has been great.

It was a waste of my money and time to buy this deal.

I paid about 90 extra, because they replaced a hose.

We still a little leak, but they came back out to fix that. I would give them a B+.

I thought they were supposed to do some other things for the toilet; there was no tune up. They did not do the home plumbing inspection either.

He was very upfront and gave me some good advice.

They came and told us that it would be about $219 to repair the toilet; I was able to get a replacement part for cheaper at a home improvement store. They gave some other quotes on other things in the house and I felt like they were over charging. The gentleman who came out was a nice guy though.

They figured out what the problem was and it got resolved.

The person who came was very knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciated what he did and how he explained what was going on. After he replaced the part, he helped me by installing a new drain closer in my bathtub (I had already bought the parts) which he did not have to do. Went above and beyond what was required. However, when I asked how much it might cost to install a new faucet in my kitchen, the price quoted was way above what I could afford so not sure I could use this company again.

Got the job done in a timely fashion.

Was told we would receive a 3 year warranty which is why we decided to go with the service that is almost 3 times the cost of just a normal clean out and when I needed to use the warranty was told they don't offer one and would not honor it. Just because your employee lied to us doesn't mean you should t make it right.

They asked for extra money because of where the heater was located. I went out of my way talking with the company scheuler to inform them in advance of the location (basement) and that the gas line would need to remove. I was told there would not be any extra costs. Once they arrived immediately asked for a flat fee of $250.00 for extra services. We worked out a reduced extra services cost but that is not my problem. When you go out of your way to review in advance the place and issues involved, and get a confirmation that NO extra costs will be involved ,,, that is what is expected.

Mr. Rooter charged us to snake our window well drain. This they attempted twice, then advised us that we should install a new sump pump, at a cost of $3,250.00. I thought that high, so I googled the average cost in Indianapolis. The low was $1,225.00. the high was $1,734.00. Obviously, this was not a competitive price. They were unable to keep the drain clear, so we called a provider suggested by our real estate agent. $125.00 later, the drain operates perfectly. In summary, this company was unable to provide this service, although they charged almost 8X what the successful company did. Their suggestion was to pay them more than 2X what the un-needed sump pump would have cost through an average priced company. Would we suggest this company? Not a chance.

It was excellent. They were very knowledgeable and they did a complete plumbing inspection for me. They had booties on which I appreciated. They were very professional and explained everything to me that they were doing. Our appointment was scheduled today between 5-7, they called me around 3:30 and asked my availability as they could come within the hour which was excellent as it freed up my evening.

I was walking across the street and saw the Mr. Rooter van speeding up to the light. Realizing that if I wanted to avoid being hit by a car, I stopped as quickly as I could. The van slammed on his brakes. His vehicle was blocking the entire cross walk. He acted as if he didn't even see me! I had to walk around the front of his vehicle into the street to get to the sidewalk safely. I yelled at him and asked if he saw the red light - he still pretended not to see me. I cannot believe this behavior. This is the first interaction I have had with Mr. Rooter and based on this experience alone I would never hire them.

I am not very pleased. I would never have paid for the second trip. I'm very pleased I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing instead.

The water heater in a rental unit that I own finally bit the dust. My tentant didn't have hot water (obviously) so I was in a hurry to replace it. I purchased the deal on Angie's List Thursday night hoping that i would be able to call the next day and get it done the same day. I called Mr. Rooter first thing the next morning and they were able to schedule me for the that evening. They arrived on time and got right to work. They even went the extra mile and rerouted the pressure release with PEX because of the odd configuration of the utility closet. $879 for a new water heater with installation is obviously more than it would cost me to do it myself, but it's still reasononable. I couldn't rope someone into helping me install a new one on such short notice on a Friday night, and this was an emergency. Mr. Rooter came through, and I have no complaints.

The initial visit was not so great. The plumber came and quoted over 5k for the job. When asked about it the price dropped to around 2000. The plumber stated there were additional fees and also tried to get us to call back and do some of it as a side job. The first plumber also complained about not making a proper commission off of the price drop. He also unglued the sinks and turned them upside down to install the faucets. After calling the company back we did get another plumber out to fix everything and was presented an additional cost. They did go ahead and waive any additional fees after they ended up coming out a few different times. The 2nd plumber that helped was hospitable, trustworthy, and got everything done. (Gary - the good plumber) was helpful and also got 2 different supervisors involved to fix all issues. I would say the initial appointment and work done was sub par and not done to what we wanted. Considering the company did go above and beyond to correct issues we were pleased with the end product! We again appreciate the integrity and extra mile they took to get everything completed!

I sent a request via Angie's List to schedule an appointment with Mr. Rooter to get an estimate on replacing our exterior sewer main. I immediately got a response back and an appointment was scheduled online for 06/10/15. I was told their "excavation specialist" was coming. He arrived right on time and was polite and professional. I explained to him what I know of the system: Its a 140 year old house that we've lived in for 6 months. With the arrival of Spring, we started having issues with the main backing up into the basement. The main is clay pipe that is full of roots. We have a basement with a large crawlspace. The main runs inside the crawlspace and exits the house with a cleanout right outside inside of a low, narrow retaining wall/planter. The line runs down the length of the house, beneath the planter to the street. It is approximately 50 feet from the house to curb, with 1-2 pieces of sidewalk that would have to be taken up and replaced. Another plumber had already scoped it and said that the line and connection at street level was not very deep. I wanted to know if a new line could be run outside of the retaining wall so as not to disturb it. He took notes, looked over everything, and then after about 10 minutes came back to the door with a $9,000 estimate!! I couldn't help but laugh and explained that two other companies had given estimates for half of that. He just said, "Yeah, well..." offering no further explanation. I thanked him for his time and he left. About an hour later, I received the official written estimate by email. The estimate itself was not as detailed as other estimates I've received on this. Needless to say, I will not be going with Mr. Rooter for this project. Though, I did appreciate their punctuality and responsiveness.
