The experience could not have been better. I called on a Wednesday and was able to schedule my water heater to be installed the next day. The technician arrived exactly when I was told they would. The technician was careful and was able to complete the job within 2 hours. My water heater is in a closet in a carpeted hallway and the technician was very careful to cover the carpet and cleaned everything up thoroughly when completed.

I just moved to this area and found Mr. Rooter Plumbing in the phone book. They are a great company. I will definitely recommend them.

They responded quickly. When they were finished, they used a camera to check the work and make sure everything was fixed. They even did extra checking on permit requirements in my city. I'm very pleased with the work they did, and I would recommend them.

The sink trap in the bathroom was broken and they had an apprentice actually fix that while the main licensed plumber replaced the boiler in the house. I had to call him back 3 or 4 days later because the plunger wasn?t just working right and was out of line. I spent $377.38 on that work and they were very insistent on selling me something for $50 for some kind of enzyme to flush down the toilet.

They are overpriced. They had to make two trips the last time they came. They did not charge for the return trip which I thought was nice. Due to the fact they had charged us 257.00 for the first trip, we think that the return trip free of charge was the least they could do. I would not recommend them. I believe it is time to make a change.

It was a terrible experience. My husband was replacing the shower surround on the master bath. He decided to have a plumber come out and replace the showerhead and shower faucet while the wall was off. He called Mr. Rooter and Miguel came out that day(7/12), quoted a price of 500.00 for the labor including labor and hardware. A plumber completed the work the next morning. Sunday after the shower surround was installed and ready to be used, we tested the shower and water gushed out behind the wall and through the ceiling below.Another plumber came out 2 days later, after my husband took down the surround wall behind the leak and replaced the fitting. He told us that Miguel would be out to look at the damage and arrange to have it repaired. Three days and 3 separate calls by us, Miguel showed up to look at the damage. He my husband and myself that he would have a man call us on Wednesday (we needed time to put the surround wall up again) . I took Wednsday off of work to be there. By 11am there was still no call, no drywall man. When I got in touch with Miguel he said that he never said that someone would contact us on Wed, just that they would call us Monday or Tuesday. That was not the agreement and even so, no one had called. Miguel said he would make some calls and have a drywall man call me within in the next 10 minutes. The man called in 5 minutes, discussed the work to be done and promised to be here @9am the next day. This man acted very professionaly. He came as promised and repaired the ceiling. Please think again about hiring this company. The bad work was obviously the company's fault. A responsible company should do their best to make such an error right. Instead we were ignored, lied to and generally blown off. Miguel apologized to my husband but that does not make up for the lost day of pay for me or the extra work we had and still have to do such as tearing and reinstalling the wall, and painting the ceiling and wall and reinstaling the tiles. Nor did he apologize for the disrespectful treatment I received from him. They were quick to show up and do the work But once the cashed our check the couldn't have cared less about fixing the damage they had caused or even to treat us with respect. Be warned about using these plumbers.

I like that he was able to come out when we needed him to. He put a camera down the drain so we could see the work. He gave us some drain treatment and we bought a contract for discounts on future services.

Great. John cleaned the drain and advised us to have our septic system cleaned (which they do not do). He spent the time to explain the problem and offered diagnosis for why this keeps happening. He was very helpful and took the time to explain his thoughts & how we can correct this in the future.

I have scheduled an appointment to conduct routine maintaining on my water heater and check out rare noise from water pipes. Mr. Rooter cancelled me twice in a week. First time on Wed afternoon (6/25) and second time on Sat morning (6/28). For Wed afternoon, I actually left work early to wait for the company. Both times Heidi? said there were emergencies popping up and had to cancel me. If Mr. Rooter only caters for emergency clients, they should not schedule regular appointments and cancel customers at the last minutes. They acted very unprofessionally. Angie's List customers should learn about this and not waste time to schedule an appointment.

This problem was frustrating and disgusting, to say the least, but Steve was personable and professional. He gave me an estimated cost at 11:00am and thought he could have the job finished by about 5:00pm that day. Unfortunately, when he really started getting to work, he discovered roots had completely blocked our pipe and it was no easy task to clear the pipe--but he did it. It took three more hours than he had anticipated and he had to remove more than one toilet from the floor, but he remained professional and (oddly enough) cheerful throughout the process. Not to mention, the actual cost did not vary from the estimate despite the fact that he was at our house far longer than anticipated!

How dumb can one be? The guy went up on the roof, but the clean out was in the backyard! All they needed to do was remove the cover and pump, but instead they cracked the driveway with their truck. Then they said that they pumped out 40 gallons of water. I had my normal company come out after that and found out that it was impossible for Mr. Rooter to have done that. They were simply worse than lousy. They were not honest!

He did not drain the septic tank either. I paid cash and I have called and asked for a refund and he will not return the money. He wrote on the ticket that he pumped out 1400 gallons of water, I had another company say that was not the case. I would not recommend him to anyone.
