It was more complicated project and more expensive than we assumed.

The guy who came over seemed to pay no attention to the details of where the water heater was to be installed, though he did take pictures. The bid was a gross dollar amount, ignoring that the water heater had already been purchased. Mr. Rooter did not get our business.

They did a good job. They went above and beyond. They were professional and nice and the supervisor came out. It was a positive experience.

I wanted him to install my faucet and maybe something else done within the $200.00 credit. He stated to install the faucet would pretty much use up my $200.00 credit and would cost extra to do any additional work I wanted done. I felt like I was being over charged. I ended up cancelling and am having someone else from Angie's List do this service for me.

How appreciative I am of the Jeremy brothers with their focus, support and great service! High Five to JJ! I will use them again and recommend them.

Hired them to install a water based backup sump pump. They incorrectly hooked it up to the hot water line instead of the cold water line. Incorrectly installed the piping, so even if the backup pump turned on, the water would have gone right back into the pit. Installed a new sump pump as well, but didn't vacuum the pump properly. Rocks jammed the check valve. They wouldn't come back out to properly clean the pit. Never called me back like they said they would. They won't return my calls. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company.

I would work with them again. I appreciated the honesty of the plumbing tech.

provider found that the camera found at least two places where the tiles could have a dip in it and that could cause the build up and over time this may cause system to back up again.

We had a problem with a repair, and I was not satisfied. Not only was it expensive, but the undersink pipes 'disintegrated'. To my surprise, they called back later and a clever fellow came out and fixed everything. The first fellow I would not recommend, but Jim W. was very competent.

While they were very friendly and professional, the job was larger than anticipated so we went with a different company to do the work.

I heard a drip in the basement and went down to check. When I opened the door I discovered a basement full of steam. I realized the source of the leak and turned off the water to the house. When I called Mr. Rooter the lady said that all of the repairmen were working on other repairs and no one would be available that day (a frigid Friday). I asked her if they could find someone to come out as I had no water and it was Friday. She said that she would find someone. The repairman arrived at 6:30 promptly as promised and worked till 8:00. The job was done very professionally and I was so grateful to have water, especially hot water for the weekend. The repairman also corrected the existing connection and left me with the system I had paid the previous installer to do, but the previous installer hadn't done it correctly. It is done right now. They went out of the way and more than expected to satisfy a returning customer and help a person in very bad weather conditions. I am happy with the repair work, the service and the repairman's expertise.

We were assured that the hydrojet would clear the line. They came out again on a very cold day and pumped the water through our basement floor drain. I was told that we could use limited amounts of water and they wanted to come the next day and dig since the line was not clear. I went down in the basement later and the area was flooded with sludge. We ended up getting another opinion and the matter is being taken care of by another company. It is a complex situation. I called the office on February 27 and received a call back that he needed to contact his men to find out what happened. I called back on March 6 and 13 leaving messages. Still no response.

They were very prompt, helpful and resourceful. They even gave me a coupon for another vendor for the fans to dry out the basement that took care of my deductible for the whole job!

We wanted them to fix an outdoor faucet, ended up paying a little bit more than the $200, that wasn't great but they were very punctual and responsive, so as far as that's concern, they did well. the outdoor faucet was leaking. Everything went fine and unfortunately, it started leaking not long after that but I just never called them back to get them out back to get them fix it. We didn't use it too much anyway because it was the end of the season.

They had agreed to come back and scope the line by running a camera through the pipe but they did not come back and do it. The first thing they did was unsuccessful. I had called them three times to ask when they were going to scope the line. They kept telling me they would get back to me, but I have not heard from them since. I bought a $99 big deal for this service but the total came out to about $800. They were pretty professional.

It went well. It was a pretty straightforward installation.

When Mr Rooter dug up the asphalt and laid the pipes between the buildings, they failed to put in the required outside clean-out. Now I have clogged toilets and no way to access the pipes without ruining the floor in my building. I am not a plumber... I did not know that the only clean-out I had was located inside the building, and that to use this would damage the floor and make a huge unsanitary mess. That is why I hired a national company. I trusted Mr Rooter to do the job the right way. But they never told me this. They just laid the pipe, took my money and ran, not caring if the pipes could be accessed outside of the building as required. The office person said she would send out the Operations Manager to take care of the problem. But they just sent a tech. He called his supervisor and I was told that they would put in a clean-out for an additional $2,800. I told them that the clean-out should have been put in when the parking lot was dug up and pipes were laid in May, so I should not have to pay extra for this. Neither the supervisor or the Operations Manager bothered to call me to discuss the situation. I am left with clogged toilets and no way to fix them without spending more money to finish the job Mr Rooter failed to do right the first time.

For them to come out within an hour of the initial call & make the repair so our water heater installation could continue was above and beyond.

The first visit was quite uneventful, uncomfortable and the issue unresolved, although I must say the technician was very mannerful, which I appreciated. After having to get my husband involved on the phone and haggling the price, they agreed to come back with the little piece in question when it came in and fix it, but said that it would need further attention (full replacement) in a couple months. This was the alternative to cutting a hole in my house and replacing the bibb, which of course was much more expensive. They charged me the $89 Angie's List fee for a supposed $289 worth of work. I had to follow up with calling them a week later to get them out here to put the ordered piece in. So, approximately 2 months later the same drip was back. This time I called Roby's who we've successfully used in the past. They had it replaced and fixed in under an hour for $260 and went cleanly through the garage, not the house! I recommend ROBY'S PLUMBING!

They were really quick and really helpful. They even warrantied the work for 3 years, no one else was offering that. They solved our problem.

Had previously used them in june for problem with sewer line. Wrote recipt at that time that said would return if same issue for free no time limit. Similar problem in nov. They cleared it for free. Back out in dec. ran auger and jetted. Did camera work. Discovered additional issue in city line which was causing some of our issues. They called city and arranged them to come out and followed up.

They did a good job on the repair and the price was reasonable. I would use them again.

I was having hot water issues and bought the Big Deal for a new gas water heater. But before purchasing the deal, I called Mr. Rooter to schedule someone to take a look at my current water heater to see if I did in fact need a new one. I made the appointment for Saturday, and a technician was sent over to take a look. He confirmed that my water heater was old and needed to be replaced. I then purchased the Bid Deal and scheduled the installation for that Monday. I had to take a half day off work so I could be home. When the technicians came, they took a look at my water heater and asked questions. They took a look at my pipes and tested the water heater (this wasn't done in the first visit). They concluded that my water heater is functioning fine and that my pipes were causing the issue. They then gave me an estimate for re-piping. Overall, they are friendly and quick to respond, but I am bit annoyed that I had to take a half day off work and wasted my PTO time when the issue could have been diagnosed during their first visit.

They were okay.

It turned out to be something I almost could have done it myself. There were no additional charges apart from the big deal amount. He was very good. He was friendly and he felt bad that it wasn’t more complicated than what it was. It only took about 2 minutes. He was good with responsiveness.
