He was very nice and explained in detail as to what he was doing each and every step of the way. He patiently searched for my nightmare leak and finally located it. He answered all my questions and was funny to boot! I was so happy with everything that I will definitely use this company again.

 + -1 moreThey were a very accommodating company and they did a great job. I wish he would have had the equipment we needed with him, but that was no big deal. The quality of his work was great and his prices are very reasonable. It took him about 5 hours and the squirrel is gone. I would highly recommend him also.

 + -1 moreI called first thing in the morning, and the representative was able to give me a two-hour window in which a plumber would show up. It turns out that he was delayed with a problem at the home preceding my appointment, so they called me to tell me he was running late. They called again once he became available to tell me he was on his way. Scott Lee was the plumber, and he was extremely nice, professional, and knowledgeable about plumbing. He found the leak right away and provided me with a quote of how much the line replacement would cost, and I had him perform the job. It took only a short time to replace, and I was very happy with the work. I had a coupon which waived the dispatch fee, so the price was good. I will definitely use Metzler for future plumbing needs, and will always ask for Scott.

 + -1 moreI realized the trap under the kitchen sink was leaking. I went to the hardware and obtained the necessary parts to repair it myself. While disassembling the piping it broke off at the wall and I was finished. We called Hallam at 8:00 am and described the problem. We also explained we needed to leave for the airport by 1:00pm. They had a crew here by 9:15 and completed the job by 10:30am including having to go out for an additional part. Dustin and Larry were extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We discussed with them about another project we want them to complete later this month.
Description of Work: Replaced the trap and connection pipes under our kitchen sink.

 + 0 moreIt was a bit difficult to get in touch with them, I had to call more than once. They gave me a price ahead of time and stuck with it. They ended up having a second guy come, which I did not really understand. They took a little longer than I felt they should have. Overall, it was an okay experience, and they did fix the leaks. I think they could have been a bit more clear about what was going on so that I understood the reason for certain things.
Description of Work: I had them fix three leaking/running toilets. They also checked on an old water heater and replaced it.

 + 0 moreCalled and left a message asking for a ball park estimate for winterizing a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath house. They called back within 2 days and provided a ball park estimate. 4 days later we called back and scheduled them on a Tuesday and they were to arrive between 10 and 12. My husband went to the house at 10am on Tuesday and waited until 11:30(they were to call before arriving). He called them at 11:30 to see when they were due and they informed us they had been calling our home number(they left 2 messages)so they moved on because they could not reach us. We rescheduled for 2 days later and this time stayed at home until they called. They called at 9:30am on Thursday and said they would be there in 45 mins. The plumber was there when my husband arrived at the house. Everything went smooth. The plumber was very neat and professional and respectful. He completed the work in 1.5 hours, and using the coupon from Angie's List, we received 10% off the charge. Unfortunately he was not able to suck the water out of the toilet bowls because the electricity was already off. So he explained to my husband what needed to be done and left the antifreeze solution that needed to be poured in the 2 toilets. We will return with a shop vac and converter to suck the water out. The plumber was very helpful and polite.

Since we were already without hot water, time was of the essence. While it was a time consuming job, Brandon worked efficiently on the installation. He was thoughtful and considerate. He arrived on time, had to go back to the office and pick up the correct water heater. He was very efficient, cleaned up after himself, very professional and friendly. He offered information explaining not just about the water heater, but also about how it worked and how to maintain it.

They've been around forever and they think just because they have been around ofrever they can charge you obscene amounts. I tried to get a price on a sump pump - it cost almost $1,700 just to install it.
