We were very pleased with the work.

Though I did not end up going with him (primarily because of a small difference in cost with a competitor) I found in all ways that he was quite professional and competent, especially in the proposal of what would need to be done. Should I need a plumber again, I would not hesitate to call for another estimate and possibly use of services.

They arrived on time, completed the work quickly, and did not charge anything above the "Big Deal" price.

Williams Comfort's plumbing service is managed by "Metzler's Mr. Plumber." The technician that came out was S. Hotseller. He took so much time on the end of a Friday to ensure that my drain problem was fixed right. I had the pipe cleaned a week earlier by another firm that I will blast on Angies List in a week if they don't refund some of my money. S. Hotseller opened and bored the main drain, only to find a bunch of roots that the other company didn't pull out. He also ran the roto-rooter into the home to ensure both ends were clean. We had many plumbing issues when we purchased the house over a month ago. I wish I had called Mr. Plumber first. These guys know their stuff and are the better ones in the industry. Good, honest and customer focused.

Bought one of the Angie's list deals for Hallam plumbing service. Listed qualifying services on offer. Paid for and set up appointment for service needed which was to fix a leaking kitchen faucet. When technician arrived, he told me he couldn't fix it. Never took it apart or even looked at it. Told me he had a delta faucet just like it and he would fix his own if it were possible...and that I needed to get a new faucet. Had to look for something else for him to fix so asked about bathroom faucet that leaked. Same story. I told him to try. Begrudgingly he fixed it all the while telling me it might break and then I'll have to get a new one.

We have a 100 year old Meridian Kessler home. In recent years, we have had a blocked sewer line with increasing frequency and have successfully used a 'clean out' service to remedy the matter until the next (year to 18 month later) need. In June 2012, a clean out and camera review revealed that a known weak point in our line was worsening, with the likelihood of an imminent break. Due to the likely depth of the sewer line (extra work, extra cost, OSHA considerations) and desire to preserve our yard, we chose to use pipeburst technology. Metzler's gave us estimated costs to get the new line to the sidewalk and join an old line or to get to the street and join the city line. They worked with us to get to a fair price and achieve our goal to tie in to the city line and remove the risk of joining an old line. They started the job on the expected day and were professional and courteous. As the job progressed, various 'surprises' arose, ranging from a much deeper dig from the sidewalk to the street (requiring a larger backhoe, OSHA safety walls for the plumbers, and an additional city permit) to the company's first ever bullethead break mere feet from completing the new sewer line's installation (for which the plumbers' solved the problem by completing the installation via sledgehammering by hand the line through the ground and into our house). These surprises did not result in any change to our agreed upon price. Needless to say, we were overjoyed with their work product and grateful to have the company on the job that had the skills, equipment, and smart staff to do this job right. After the substantive plumbing was complete (which has been trouble free from the moment of completion!), Metzler's took care of repairing the street. For some reason, the initial asphalt had a sinkhole, which a patch did not fully remedy. Metzler's diligently responded to our follow-up calls, ultimately tearing out and fully replacing the asphalt such that no further issues have arisen. We are very pleased with the entire project and certainly recommend that others hire Metzler's Mr. Plumber.

We had a water heater leaking a large amount of water in our basement. They came out that evening, and were here the next day to install a new one. The plumber even came out on his day off, because he had promised us delivery the next day, and there were no available plumbers since it was a holiday week end. He called 30 min. prior to arrival, so we were able to meet him. Very professional, prompt,and knowledgeable.

My water powered back-up sump pump started leaking on Thursday 8/30. I was extremely concerned because of the threat of heavy rain over the weekend from the remnants of Hurricane Isaac. It was about 9:30 Thursday night by the time I reviewed Angie's list and detemined that Mr. Plumber was probably my best choice. Turned out to be true. I spoke ith the plumber on call, Shannon, and explained my situation. He gave me some options and told me they could be out on Friday to take care of the problem, epecially considering the potential for heavy rain. Well, their technicians were booked for Friday, so Shannon, who was off on Friday, voluneteered to work. He was at by house by 1pm and installed the sump pump. I am so grateful; they have a cstomer for life! Thank you Mr. Plumber, Shannon, and Angie's List!

Could have been better. Would have been nice if credit toward future service.

Received a quote on a main sump pump, backup pump & backup battery for over $2400. This is fixed pricing, you have absolutely no idea of how much you are paying for labor or parts. This was with a 15% discount for having a service contract. After checking on the internet, I estimate the labor to be over $1200 to install this. I had the work done today by B&W Plumbing for $700 less. It took him 2 hours to complete the job. Mr Plumber said it would take 4 hours. Any way you figure it, Mr Plumber is getting almost $600 an hour for the work, not bad for a plumber! The gentleman that gave me the quote said, "we're not the lowest and we're not the highest" They have to be the highest, to charge more should be illegal. Regardless, if you do not get multiple estimates from a variety of business (not all of the larger firms that used fixed pricing) you will overpay big time.

DON'T USE THEM. They Arrived on time, but upon arrival raised my $59 service call to a $139 "investigative work" charge, as they said they had to look at the tub. After 5-10 minutes of "investigative work" said they had determined the fix, ordered parts and my bill was to be about $450 total....which I paid. The service repair guy, was arrogant and just a little rude. He spent a lot of time sitting in his truck and little time "investigating" the problem. When they returned with parts several weeks later, they installed themin 5 minutes and left. My daughter used the tub for the first time a week later when I realized my basement was filled with a 1/2 inch of water. In other words, they didn't fix the problem and the water damage in my basement was now even worse. I asked for a supervisor to come back, which they had happen. He was very helpful and did good work. What he realized was that they didn't fix things and the "investigative work" never found the real problem --- a leaky jet on the tub. However, he said that "Mr. Plumber doesn't fix whirlpool tubs". That is right, a plumber that doesn't fix plumbing. Then why did they come to my house in the first place. With that said we both agreed that a refund of 1/2 the work cost would be a reasonable agreement, even though my tub still wasn't fixed and I would have to get another plumber to fix it. I guess I was OK with this. However, while the The supervisor who came out did a nice job and we agreed on a settlement, the owner of the company said no and was only willing to refund $135 for the 10 minutes of bogus "investigative work". In reality, I should have rec'd my full $450 back. Yet I was willing to eat half of it, and the supervisor agreed. But not the owner. So while the overall experience was terrible, and I used a plumber who doens't fix bathtub leaks -- go figure that one ---- for an extra $90, I wouldn't be writing this negative review. In reality, Mr Plumber should have told my over the phone before coming out that "they don't fix leaks on whirlpool tubs" and I wouldn't be out $300+. Don't use them -- A plumber that doesn't fix plumbing.

I called at 8 am and they were able to have someone at the house by 8:30. It was quite expensive, but I expect that these days with plumbing work. The tech was very knowledgable about drains and worked efficiently. He offered the service plan, but didn't push too hard, which I appreciated. I will hire them again.

Now, 5 weeks later, all is well. We finally have consistent supply of soft water with none of the minitoring and attention (excepting periodically adding of salt) required by our original softner.The serviceman was quite knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our qurestions leading up to the selection of the make and model he represented.In part, we chose Metzler Mr. Plumber because they gave us immediate attention to our failed soft water system situation, something the original vender could not do because of the eminent holiday. He explained what was wrong and why it needed to be replaced. Ultimately, we were convinced that replacement with the Claque exceeded our needs and espectations.

Very smoothly. I scheduled an appointment to have it checked out the week before, and scheduled the appointment a week later hwne it was more convenient for me. The price paid includes routine check up for my HVAC system as well.

Called Mr. plumber on a saturday morning and required immediate service. They accommodated our time request and were very professional, punctual. They installed the new pump and PVC pipe. Cleaned up the area. It looked better than when the plumber arrived!! Thank you! The plumber was wonderful! Would love to work with Jon again.We bought the annual maintenance because it saved us $ on the services performed. The only bummer is the plumber did not offer the Angies List Member Deal price and we paid the $99 for the maintenance. It would be nice to receive the Angies List deal price of $50 since we area member.

I called at 6:30 that morning and was told to wait until 7:00 a.m. and that I would be contacted at that time. We did not receive a phone call until after 10:00 a.m. and had to look for another service "Benjamin Franklin" to perform the work also on Angie's list. This whole experience has been disappointing.

Upon discovering our main sewer line was backing up into the basement we knew we needed a plumber as quickly as possible to clean the line. The answering service took the after hours call but a call was returned to us within just a few minutes. A tech called on his way, completed the service for the pre-determined price, did not charge extra for after hours and did not charge the service fee because of our Angie's List membership. As part of the service we will receive a camera inspection at another time we choose to schedule.

Went very smoothly. Took time expected and was completed to satisfaction. Work was preformed in a timely manner from estimate to install.

Our former water heater started leaking and we called Hallam Plumbing to give us estimates on a tankless unit and a 50 gallon tank water heater. We decided to purchase the 50 gallon with the East Water system, which helps eliminate the sediment that collects in water heaters. We also told the crew about a toilet running issue in the master bath, which they replaced a fill valve for free. Hallam installed the low volume (1.6 Liter) toilet for us 5 years ago, when we remodeled that bathroom. The entire job took only a couple of hours and the crew explained what they did and gave us information about the the Easy Water system. I would hire Hallam Plumbing again. We had used Bob Hallam as our plumber, when we first moved to Carmel. When he retired, we started using his son, Paul Hallam.

Mark was prompt and polite. He did a good job and left no mess. Unfortunately the office put him in a bad situation which he had to resolve.

Called Mr. Plumber on Friday morning after we noticed that an exterior faucet was leaking around the handle. They told us that they could set us up for a service call on Monday or, if we were going to be home, they could work us in on Saturday. They told me that the plumber would call a half hour before he came to our house. On Saturday afternoon the plumber's office called me aroound 2:30 pm and told me the plumber was on his way. At approximately 3:00 pm the plumber arrived and looked at our problem and told me what he owuld try to do to the faucet, and what he would have to do if the repair did not work. Luckily the repair worked because we did not want to cut a hole in the ceiling of our newly finished basement. The plumber was punctual, neat and efficient. He repaired the faucet quickly and charged us what was agreed to. I plan on calling them when we need a plumber in the future.

They were great. They show up and are punctual. I've also had them out for some other repairs as well to replace a circulating pump for the hot water heater and other faucet and toilet repairs.
