Hope Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling

Very well. I had communicated via email with Hope Plumbing in the spring and found them to be very responsive. When I was finally able to schedule my repair, I did so several days in advance. Between establishing my appointment and the day of the appointment I had another issue come up so I emailed again and asked if they could add one more thing to job when they came. I had an email response right away assuring me that was not a problem and it wasn't. Nick was very professional and answered all of my questions. Overall it was a very postitive experience.

Hope Plumbing arrived right on time and installed a quality product. The man doing the work was friendly and professional and performed the work quickly and with diligence.

Great! We had another company come out when our basement flooded due to power outage. It was going to cost us twice as much. I felt that the company (ARS) was taking advantage of the situation. Jack Hope then came and was very professional and quoted us what I believed to be a fair price. I would definitely use them again and would recommend Hope Plumbing to everyone needing plumbing.

Great experience from start to finish. This group could not have been better. I have found the plummers that will do all my jobs moving forward. It went so well have already recommended them to my family and neighbors.

Called Hope based on Angie's List ratings. Jack answered the phone and did an excellent job describing my options during the first call. He was able to get me scheduled very quickly. The crew that came out were there exactly when they said they'd be there. They were professional and worked very quickly. They left the area very clean when they left and ensured I was happy with the work. I really appreciated that they called back later with further details about getting a rebate from the gas company because of the energy star heater I bought. A+ in every aspect. I'll make sure my first call for plumbing work is always to Hope.

Everything went great from start to finish. My whole house was replumbed from top to bottom with great care and quality. Big job or small, Hope Plumbing can do it all. They were honest, friendly and punctual. I will call them for any plumbing needs.

They stuck with it until the job was done. Couldn't be more pleased.

Saw advertisement for 50% discount coupon. Bought it. Called Hope to schedule appointment. Appt set for "between 10 and noon" on 8/17. At 12:05 no show, no call so I called them. The guy said he would "have us called back in five minutes." 25 minutes later got call and they said, "we are running behind on current job and will be there in 45 minutes." Almost and hour later, they showed up and did the work. Bottom line is there are a lot of great plumbing companies. We normally someone else. We used this company because of the coupon. Any company who will require you to give them a two hour window and then not show and not call and then break additional promises ( "we will call you in five minutes" & "we will be there in 45 minutes") will not get our business again. It is understandable that things happen and delays can occur, but to not call and not show is not acceptable. Will never use this company again for that reason alone. The people who came to the house were nice, but we weren't buying nice, we were buying quality repair and fulfilled promises!

He came out and was excellent. As it resulted I did not need to have the work done but he was perfect and understanding. He is really the type of service provider that you would like to have in your home. He was prompt, courteous and a real pleasure to work with.

A pipe connecting to the garbage disposal was leaking after the work was completed. I contacted them and they promptly came back out to address it properly. About a week later, I noticed the area under my sink was wet again. It looked like the handle for the hot water shut off valve was missing (only due to old plumbing, not their error), which they replaced at a reasonable rate. It took a few trial and errors, but the leaking issue has been corrected. I will surely use them for future plumbing needs.

Jack is very nice and helpful and talked to me on the phone about my heater and filter options. He made sure I was informed about advantages and disadvantages of various options without trying to sell me on anything. He was very accommodating when I asked (kind of last minute) to change our initial installation date in order to have the timing mesh with some tile I was having installed in the room where the water heater is. He arranged to have our old water heater taken out one day and the new one put in the following day after the tile was in place. Installation went smoothly and quickly, and I would happily hire them again for any future plumbing needs.

Had an old leaky water heater that needed replacing and wanted to add a water softener due to hard water issues. They were on time and did work quickly with minor messes that they cleaned up. Would definitely use again.

Two guys showed up for the appointment and they were done in one hour for both jobs.

Jack came when he said he would be there for an estimate. Were able to meet our time frame. They are clean, professional people. Would not think twice about letting them in the house when we are not home. We had used them previously and have always been impressed. Prices are very reasonable.

They were very good. I don't remember the price. They were really clean and made sure everything was good. They were very polite. My husband dealt with them a little bit more than I did. They did a great job. The quality was great. They were good on punctuality and professionalism. We would use them in the future if we needed work done.

It went great. I called Jack a few weeks ago with questions. He answered everything patiently and never tried to "sell" me. Called Jack back and he remembered the previous call. Set the appointment up and we were good to go. The 2 guys that came introduced themselves by name and went right to work. I'm not thrilled with having to purchase a new water heater but glad that I called Hope to get it handled.

I had a rental property whose status had been in limbo for well over a year. One day I'm planning a huge remodeling of it and the next day I'm wanting to unload it. The result was a house with significant plumbing problems(I had turned off the heat in winter and knew I'd be replacing all of it). So this spring I met a guy interested in renting it and I had to act fast. I'd heard some good things about Hope Plumbing and gave them a call. I explained my predicament AND the fact I had to leave town for a week- Mr. Hope seemed unfazed. He assured me that they would get the job done properly and as promptly as possible. I met a couple of their plumbers- Nick and Brad- and went over the details of the job. They possessed a trait which seems quite rare these days- the ability to LISTEN- as opposed to the know-it-all demeanor one frequently encounters. I returned home a week later to find the job done flawlessly- beyond my expectations. I have owned rental properties for twenty years and I don't ever recall a situation being handled with greater professionalism.

There was an issue where we had tons of sand blocking up our pipes, backing everything up into the house. It completey jammed up our water; we had no showers and no running water. Hope Plumbing was been here 4 days a week blowing out the pipes. They have been absolutely wonderful! This problem was not their fault, but they solved it for us! We have a large house with 7 toilets, and at the time this happened, only one of those toilets worked. Hope Plumbing took care of this for us. I cannot say enough good things about them! They are just excellent! They inherited a terrible terrible problem, and I am so thankful for them. I was extremely frustrated with the situation, and these guys were just so nice. THey never showed any frustration and tried to be helpful as they could.

Fantastic. Scheduled service in 2 days. Due to a conflict, my wife and I were not able to be home at the time of service, but Hope Plumbing contacted us early that day, discussed the problem over the phone, picked up the agreed replacement after discussing the options, and made the install/replacement in our absence. In all the happening, forgot to leave the Angie's List coupon, but I called the next day and they were kind enough to give me the discount after the fact. Tremendous service - I will use again for any plumbing needs. Highly recommended for Broad Ripple area and old homes in particular.

I honestly understand that giving estimates for work that needs to be done is likely a pain. I also understand that the plumber may not even get the job after providing said estimate. However, because the plumbing industry does not have a real set of standards concerning rates in which they charge the customer the estimates are a necessary part of the business to help eliminate fraudulant charges. The reason I am giving this company a bad review is that they didn't bother to show up for my estimate. Nor did they bother to call me and let me know they were not able to make the preset appoinment that I had made 5 days in advance. When I phone the company thirty minutes after the appointment time I was informed that they will be right out. In another 15 minutes the plumber who was supposed to show, phoned me and said he had a "headache" and couldn't come. He informed me that he tried to call earlier to let me know but he must not have had the correct phone number. My opinion is; when you don't have the correct phone number out on the "field" wouldn't you call the office and retrieve the correct phone number from them? Secondly if neither the office or the plumber has the correct phone number then it seems as though it would be prudent for the plumber to go ahead and show up for the appointment? Not showing and not calling seems unacceptable when trying to procure business. There must be an overwhelming demand for these services. I originally scheduled another appointment, but after I thought about it I cancelled. I figured if the guy has to stay home for a headache imagine the time that would be lost if he got a hangnail.

We called late on the weekend after other plumbers would not return our phone calls. We explained the problem, and they told us exactly what to do. Apparently the part we needed was on back order and only available from the company. They saved us a visit instead of charging us to come out and then tell us to order the part. We ordered the part, they were prompt to come out and replace the part based on our schedule. Very professional.

Very nice, professional servicemen, they even made a run to the local hardware store (no extra charge for the time) in order to get a needed part so that it could be finished that evening. All was cleaned up.

I will call Hope Plumbing from now on any time I need plumbing help. Jack specializes on older homes (mine was built in 1910) and knows the quirks that come with older plumbing. His recommendations were sound and he gave us two options to choose from, depending on what we wanted to spend. He is knowledgeable, competent, timely and a person of integrity who is running a great business in a service field where you just cannot trust everything you hear. I would recommend Jack to anyone and everyone who asks.
