Everything went fine.  The man who performed the installation was very friendly and professional.

Estimate was in line with another company estimate but they did not try to sell me on work they felt was not needed. They listened to what we were concerned about and they did the job professionally. I regret we waited so long to have the work done.

They were timely and professional. They were very personable and they were very responsive. There was a questionable issue with the building and the owner took care of it right away. They accidently overcharged me but I wasn’t upset about it. I discovered the error and I emailed the owner. He checked it out the very next day and took care of it. I did have to pay extra on the price. I have known the owner in the past. He has come out for some work in the past and he has several people who work with him. 

They arrived on time, worked quickly, cleaned up and left. 
The only disappointments were the tub faucet not being completed and the kitchen faucet that was to be "more modern" was the same style I had put in 10 years before.
If I do use them again I would choose my own faucet.

Not an ideal situation to be in during a house selling/buying process, but was a necessary fix. Jack, the owner of Hope, was very open and honest with us regarding the situation. We were in constant communication and I appreciated his willingness to make a very undesired situation, much easier to bear. While the work took slightly longer than was initially quoted, and the final cost was at the high end of the quoted price, I know the work was done well and was high quality work. Our front yard had to be dug up to replace the line. There was some after effects resulting in water in a previously dry basement, but it was a result of shifting dirt and pipes and part of the resettling process. Since we moved out of the house shortly after the work was complete, I cannot comment on current progress.

They did a very good job. The person that did the work, Larry, was neat and clean and very personable.  We were both very happy with the job Larry did and couldn't be more pleased.  The price was also very reasonable.

I bought this Angie's List Big Deal from Hope Plumbing because we needed a new whole house humidifier and I have used Hope in the past, so I felt comfortable.
The installation was completed in a timely way, but the humidifier started to leak.  I called Hope back and they sent the same installer to figure out the problem.  He changed a few things and felt that it was repaired (replaced filter, air blower speed, moved the unit to a different location, etc.).
Unfortunately, I had to call a third time as the humidifier continued to have issues.  I asked for a different installer to come out.  Hope sent someone new and he addressed the issues and now the unit works. 
The staff that I spoke with and the plumbers who came to the house were coureous and they did make sure that I was satisfied in the end.

We had Hope Plumbing out in November because our floor drain in the basement was backing up while doing laundry. They cleaned the line from my exterior clean-out to the road, but explained that they thought I had a break in my line and that I would continue to experience problems. They were right! It drained better for awhile, but a few weeks ago it started backing up again so we called them back out. Jack Hope did an excellent job of not only explaining my problem, but generally how my sewer (should) work. They replaced the old clay tile with pvc from my foundation to the road. The crew was friendly and in good humor despite having to work in very cold conditions. They were happy to answer all questions that I had as they proceeded. I've used Hope Plumbing a few times now and have been very pleased with them.

Hired originally to fix a clogged outdoor drain.  After working on the drain, received estimates on replacing an outdoor faucet and replacing broken sink stopper.  The estimates were very reasonable, and the work was completed that day.

We called Hope to get a diagnosis of a leak in our bathroom ceiling. The technician came to our house to perform a diagnostic assessment and called me to discuss the situation. He reported that he had run the water in the toilet, faucet, and shower in the upstairs bathroom (which is above the leak) in sequence and only when he turned on the shower did the leak become active. He told us that the shower tray needed to be replaced and that he would forward pictures to Hope's person who did shower re-builds. There were several problems:
* I repeated his diagnostic procedure and did not find the same result. I timed the rate of the drip with nothing running, ran the shower for 5 minutes, and timed the drip again. There was no difference what-so-ever.
* We never heard back from Hope regarding an estimate and/or plan to rebuild the shower, as we had been told we would.
* The technician was rude to our babysitter (who was at the house at the time) and left the faucet running at full blast. I did not discover the latter until later, thus wasting who knows how much water. I e-mailed Hope regarding this error and never heard anything from them.
 Positives of the experience:
* The technician was on-time and friendly to me over the phone.
* I appreciated the described systematic diagnostic procedure and would believe that he saw what he saw. (I just didn't see the same thing the very same day.)

I described the problem to Jack Hope on the phone, he sent Jonathan out to fix it, the entire job took less than two hours, and Jonathan cleaned up the area, as well.  Good work!

I needed a mop-sink with a water-volume-triggered pump installed. This was a from-scratch washing machine installation in my basement - a basement that has no existing floor drains. Hope Plumbing came out in early January and estimated the job. We set the install date for 1/16. 
Also included was a remediation of the previous washer/dryer hook-up out in the three-season room - pipes, drains etc. They were unsightly and now they're gone.
Hope honored the 5% Angie's List coupon [on labor] and did the job in about 4-5 hours for the quoted price. Works exactly as advertised!
I'm happy and would recommend Hope and use them again.

Heard noises coming from area near washing machine; could not determine problem so turned off appliance.  Decided to use someone from Angie's List so joined up.  Called Roger who came out and determined that we needed to have septic pumped before he could perform any work.  The plumber also heard noises from another pump which had been installed when new well dug.  His expertise helped us to get that problem (constant clicking on and off) solved by calling the company who drilled well.  Once septic was cleaned out Roger returned and installed a new pump for my washing machine.  I'm back in business and thankful for his ability to get us up and running.

They did a great job and tolerated my watchful behavior well. They answered any questions and met all my specifications. I had mapped out the move of the water heater long ago and had moved my furnace previously. They were well below other estimates and worked the job through snow and holidays. I will use them again when I finish the basement (which was 90% of the reason I have moved the utilities) to replace drains and stub out the bar sink.

They were very good.  He gave some input on my shower head. His son also went to my other home and drained the water heater of all the rusty water and all is well.

They have always done good work for me at a reasonable price.

The job went very smoothly and they were very pleasant and courteous. They cleaned up when done. I am very pleased.

My home warranty company sent Hope Plumbing out to clear my drain pipes. I had sewage backup in my tubs. I've had problems since I moved in with roots invading. They've come out several times and done a great job. The people are very nice and professional. I called them for a major outside job but they're very busy right now and weren't able to bid the job (it's an urgent job and really can't wait a month to get done). They were the first ones to explain what I need to get done and clearing the drain pipes of the roots is a temporary fix. They sent a camera up the pipes under the house and showed me how bad they really are, even made a recording for me on disc. I will call them again when I start getting bids to have my inside pipes replaced. 

I live on the east coast and got a call from my elderly parent's caregiver in Indianapolis that the basement was flooded with three inches of water in the laundry area. It was 10:00pm at night and I didn't know a plumbing company to call. I tried one company and I was told they couldn't help me, since I wasn't a regular customer. Based on the reviews I saw on Angie's List, I then called Hope Plumbing. I left a voicemail message asking for a return call or email. At 7:30am the next morning, I received a call from the co-owner. He apologized that he didn't get my voicemail until around 3:00am in the morning, but said that he had sent me an email then and was also returning my call. (I checked later, and he had emailed at 3:00ish the night before.) He was extremely polite and professional. When he heard my situation, he said he would have someone out to fix the problem that same morning. Before 10:00am, he had somebody out and the problem was fixed!!! I have since talked with him about any follow-up needed which is none. I am EXTREMELY impressed with the service I received. Brad, the individual I spoke with twice, impressed me as being honest and ethical. He seems very knowledgable about plumbing issues in older homes in the area and how to fix them. He did not try to sell me any services other than what I needed. I was assuming the worst as far as plumbing problems, but he assured me that he could fix the problem and he did. It's been three weeks and the drain is working fine. Cheryl, in the office, was very easy to work with as far as billing. I am totally satisfied with the service I received and Hope Plumbing gets my highest recommendation!!!

They were very prompt and installed the humidifer quickly. We are very pleased with their service.

I called that morning and requested a repair for a dripping/running bathtub faucet.  I was told they could come between 12-5 and would call first.  Jonathan called around 2:30, arrived around 3:00 and had it fixed by 3:30.  He was very polite and professional.  No more drips.

It was great.  They sent a guy for an estimate that day and he was on time.  He gave us a quote and they stuck to it.  They were there two days after an estimate and the work was done in one day. The guys were friendly and informative and when the job was done, they cleaned up after themselves. I really appreciated their service and I feel like I got a great deal.

2 people came out and did the work cleanly and quickly. They were running late because they were busy that day, so I called to make sure they would be out that night.  When I did call, they were polite, helpful and responsive, and assured me that they would be coming.  I would have liked a call to let me know they were running late, but that was a minor problem and would not affect me using them again.
