Hope Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling

I live on the east coast and got a call from my elderly parent's caregiver in Indianapolis that the basement was flooded with three inches of water in the laundry area. It was 10:00pm at night and I didn't know a plumbing company to call. I tried one company and I was told they couldn't help me, since I wasn't a regular customer. Based on the reviews I saw on Angie's List, I then called Hope Plumbing. I left a voicemail message asking for a return call or email. At 7:30am the next morning, I received a call from the co-owner. He apologized that he didn't get my voicemail until around 3:00am in the morning, but said that he had sent me an email then and was also returning my call. (I checked later, and he had emailed at 3:00ish the night before.) He was extremely polite and professional. When he heard my situation, he said he would have someone out to fix the problem that same morning. Before 10:00am, he had somebody out and the problem was fixed!!! I have since talked with him about any follow-up needed which is none. I am EXTREMELY impressed with the service I received. Brad, the individual I spoke with twice, impressed me as being honest and ethical. He seems very knowledgable about plumbing issues in older homes in the area and how to fix them. He did not try to sell me any services other than what I needed. I was assuming the worst as far as plumbing problems, but he assured me that he could fix the problem and he did. It's been three weeks and the drain is working fine. Cheryl, in the office, was very easy to work with as far as billing. I am totally satisfied with the service I received and Hope Plumbing gets my highest recommendation!!!

They were very prompt and installed the humidifer quickly. We are very pleased with their service.

I called that morning and requested a repair for a dripping/running bathtub faucet. I was told they could come between 12-5 and would call first. Jonathan called around 2:30, arrived around 3:00 and had it fixed by 3:30. He was very polite and professional. No more drips.

It was great. They sent a guy for an estimate that day and he was on time. He gave us a quote and they stuck to it. They were there two days after an estimate and the work was done in one day. The guys were friendly and informative and when the job was done, they cleaned up after themselves. I really appreciated their service and I feel like I got a great deal.

2 people came out and did the work cleanly and quickly. They were running late because they were busy that day, so I called to make sure they would be out that night. When I did call, they were polite, helpful and responsive, and assured me that they would be coming. I would have liked a call to let me know they were running late, but that was a minor problem and would not affect me using them again.

Responded with an appointment the same day as called, arrived on time and fixed both items efficiently.

My bath 's hot water stem was repaired and my hot valve does not leak anymore - but it since then my cold water spigot has starting leaking.

Prompt, knowledgeable, efficient. Gave me other plumbing tips while he was here.

It was fine, they did just small job but he got it taken care.

They were prompt, courteous and diagnosed the problem quickly.

I contacted them past the expiration date. Regardless they basically did quick fix and I expect the leak to come back. I could have went anywhere to pay the same or les. So I guess using Angies List on this one did now work out so wellthe

The job was done very well and the plumber was very professional. First, he came to do the estimate. A few weeks later, he came to install the gas line. No surprises on the price. Everything went according to plan.

After the success with the Big Deal, we had this company come out to take care of plumbing issues on two other occasions. They were equally helpful and respectful on each visit. The cost was quite reasonable. I never felt overcharged for the work they did, and it always came in under estimate. They sent the same man come out all three times, because he was familiar with our plumbing and had done the prior work. Each time he talked me through what was happening and explained different options for plumbing maintenance we can do on our own. They educated us on how to have fewer plumbing problems. The company says it specializes in plumbing for older homes, which is unique and something we needed for our home. I would definitely use them again.

Hope Plumbing was able to unclog a problematic sewer main that ARS Rescue Rooter could not fix just the day before. Charley and another tech were prompt, professional and took the time to listen and diagnose the problem. They ran a sewer camera out to about 50 feet from the cleanout valve in our front yard to the street. Then they used a drain snake with a 2" inch (smaller) auger bit to snake and clear the drain. It took three times to completely break through all the way to the sewer main and clear the tree roots. This took both finesse and some good old fashioned elbow grease. Charley and his co-worker got the job done when ARS could not. They also offered advice on how to keep the sewr line free from tree roots in the future. ARS wanted to charge me $12,800 to dig up the street and replace 15 feet of sewer line. Needless to say, Hope Plumbing saved the day. the total charge for the work performed was a little more than I expected but certainly less than a sewer repair/replacement bill. If you own an older home with old home plumbing issues, then you should call Hope Plumbing.

It went great - our relatively new toilet was rattling, and it was determined this was because the water pressure coming into our home was too high. The serviceman who came out to our home was thorough, professional and very informative.

At this point we had 3 different plumbers come out and tell us three different things. We felt like we were getting the run around with these gents, I felt they gave us the most troubling solution that was the most expensive. So we didn't go with there services for I don't feel like he tried to take the full inspection like the other plumbers had.

They made a deck. They were very professional, friendly and they did a very good job.

The job was performed efficiently and as described. Very satisfied.!

Roger from Hope Plumbing is fantastic (as are the rest of the guys). We had him come out to our house to help fix a clogged rain and he noticed our poor water pressure. He is very familiar with older homes and took a look through the access panel to our upstairs bathroom. He was able to clean out a connecting piece, and our water pressure was greatly improved! If you have an older home (ours was built in 1941) and poor water pressure, I would recommend having Roger come take a look. The process was relatively quick and the result was great. Hope is also very well-priced. The improvement to our water pressure in that bathroom was priceless.

Overall it was a long process and more expensive because of hidden problems. Those were not hopes fault but when spending almost $700 and the only new thing you get is a shower valve you expect good work. He didn't even use putty to put the covers over the screws in the toilet so the covers fall off. And like I said previously the toilet still didn't really work and I had to call someone else and spend more money.

We were grateful to get prompt assistance on a Sunday morning to get at least one bathroom functioning, and agreeable to waiting until "normal business hours" to get the rest of the work done at cheaper rates.

Bathroom tub and sink were not draining. Hope used an electric snake to free the pipes. In doing this, they caused a major leak in our kitchen ceiling. I had to pay for all the work to fix the the leak and repair the ceiling. In the end the drain did not drain at 100%.
