Hope Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling

We are very happy with the work Hope Plumbing completed. We were a new home build, but needed to install a water softener (completed in September) and then later a water pressure booster (completed in October). On both occasions, the Hope Plumbing employees were very courteous and super professional. They answered any questions I had, but also completed both projects very quickly. It's great to know there's an honest service provider for our plumbing needs.

Showed up on time and was very professional. He came originally to replace my water heater. I was having globally low hot water pressure and was told I probably needed a new water heater. Called Hope to install the water heater I bought from a big box store. The technician assessed the current set up, and told me my current water heater was only 4 years old. The problem was with the outward lines getting clogged from a poor connection with the copper attachment. He replaced the nipples to the line and now I have hot water pressure? Plus I can return the new water heater for a massive saving! Thanks so much!

Jonathan and Dre showed up at the appointed time, installed new tub waste pipe and overflow and cut out old drum trap and installed a new P-trap. Cleaned out clogged drain beyond the replaced items. Cleaned up the mess the mess they made and left the area as clean as it could be considering the water damage to ceilings, wall and floor. Would definitely have this crew back!

Charlie and Jonathon arrived and after looking at the shower went to the basement and crawl space to check for water damage that might be present. None was found and they said I should contact someone that would advise me on remodeling steps. They were courteous, prompt, and honest. I appreciate all of this when dealing with service people. I only had to pay a service charge.

I was not too impressed by them. The guy came over and started explaining how he was going to do the job. It almost felt like he did not want to do the job. He explained how difficult it is to put a steel pipe and how it has to bent using special tools etc. How the cost of digging a trench will cost more during winter. After all this was said and done, he charged me an estimate fee. Then very briskly, fully confident that I was not going to call him to do the work, he drove away.

I am absolutely disapointed that this company was rated so highly on Angie's List that i trusted them to come to my house last week. Now, connecting a hose from your oven to the gas line is something rather easy and I could have done it myself. However, I've had gas poisoning before so i decided to hire the job out so as the gas line itself could be inspected. So i asked for two jobs to be done 1- Inspect the line as it hasn't been used in 15+ years. 2-Connect the hose to the line once the inspection was completed. Well, #1 wasn't ever done as the man never went into my basement to check the line. As for #2, he chose to ignore the hose I had available sitting there in my kitchen and instead told my wife he would have to go buy the part. Now my wife didn't know what part he was going to have to buy and assumed it was something important so she agreed and waited for him to return. That trip took nearly 50 minutes despite Lowes being less than 1/2 mile away. - This is gouging the customer to pay for his slow trip! On top of the fact that the trip wasn't ever needed as i had a superior quality metal hose available sitting by the oven the whole time. In the end, all he did was connect the hose that he incorrectly bought and then charged my wife $190. This is absolutely ridiculous and terrible service that will lead me to share this story with anyone needing a plumber.

This was a follow-up call. They originally came in Oct but returned in a followup. They really did not have to honor their 30-day guarantee as the additional problem was dog hair. BUT THEY DID honor this guarantee and I feel they should be commended as this was rental property and we as the owners did not know the real source of the drain problem.

Our old heater had sprung a slow leak so we knew it needed to be replaced. The service rep arrived with a gas water heater and quickly got to work with the replacement. While installing the new heater, he noticed that the input pipe was extremely clogged with rust - you couldn't even see light through it! He replaced the pipe which was great. While he was at the house we mentioned that the water pressure for our hot water was extremely low in the basement. He spent a long time following the different plumbing routes and junctions (house built in 1950s) and was able to adjust a few valves in hard-to-reach spots to correct the problem. We were extremely pleased with his service and his pleasant attitude. We feel that he went above-and-beyond for us and will not hesitate to call Hope again in the future.

Reasonable solution quickly given and completed same day. Asked for estimates on 2 other future projects. Plan to use them on future plumbing needs.

I called Hope Plumbing in the morning and they had a guy out to look at the water heater that afternoon. He arrived promptly and brought a new water heater with him. Given the age of my hot water heater I expected it to need to be replaced, however I hadn't been quoted a price for the replacement. After some discussion about the hot water heater that was brought to the house and other options, the new one was installed. In all the entire visit was roughly one hour. Unfortunately the installation did not go as smoothly as it seemed. I called Hope Plumbing back to discuss the installation issues and they were quick to respond to the issues and to rectify the problem. One issue was rectified by a different plumber so Hope Plumbing reimbursed me for that visit. Despite the service not being perfect, I would be willing to use them again because they immediately owned up to the situation, were extremely professional at all times and worked with me to fix the problem to my satisfaction. I have an older house and they were actually on hand when another minor plumbing issue arose at my house which they dealt with at no cost to me. The staff was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. I researched the hot water heater that was installed and it is a top notch water heater from a well regarded manufacturer. Regarding the price, I did not shop around so I would only be making an assumption about how Hope Plumbing prices compare to others. I can say that for the money, you will receive a quality product and a company that will stand behind their work and make sure that the customer is satisfied.

It was excellent! I was concerned since they had to take down part of our old fence which is in front of a flower bed in order to allow access for a back hoe. However, they did a great job and left the fence, as well as the flowers, unharmed. They were also able to complete the actual work in one day. Furthermore, they showed up on time and ready to work, and they did a good job for a fair price.

They were prompt and arrived at the beginning of the arrival window. They were friendly and efficient. including a trip to the store, they had the issue resolved in a little over an hour.

Tim was friendly and on time. He found the issue right away and made the repairs. In and out in about an hour. Even making the appointment was pleasant. Highly recommend.

We had another company out twice to fix our tankless water heater that was delivering uneven water temperatures. It was never fixed. With an Angies List recommendation we called Hope Plumbing. They sent out their tankless water heater specialist. In under an hour he diagnosed the unit, discovered error codes and fixed the problem. I will never call anyone but Hope Plumbing when I need help. This company really knows what they're doing!

Plumber was prompt and professional. Provided good advice for a future project. Tightened a loose gas line.

Jonathan showed up on time .He clothes were clean and he acted very professionally as expected.He cut out approximately 6 ft of 3/4 galvanized pipe which was servicing our water softener.This pipe was never touched since the house was build 1940 He replaced the pipe with 6 ft of pex and short bite coupling. he tested for leaks and ccleaned the area after competing the job. We are very happy with the way the job was completed and will use this company for our next plumbing job.

I used this Big Deal in two pieces. The first visit didn’t equal the full amount of the Big Deal so they carried over the difference towards a 2nd visit. I was pleasantly surprised by this. Scheduling went smoothly and they came out in a timely manner.They were very helpful and I was pleased with the way they handled the exchanged. The repair has held up well since.

They were amazing. They were very thorough, very knowledgeable, prompt and on time. I cannot say enough good things about them. They came and did the work that they said they were going to do at the price that they said they were going to do it. They were fantastic. I would recommend them to anybody and absolutely use them again in the future.

I had an older water heater and wanted to replace it before it completely died at an inconvenient time. I was interested in the tankless water heater and Hope Plumbing was able to take out the old tank water heater and install the tankless. It was a little more complicated because of the required venting, but Hope Plumbing did a good job, finished up in one day and cleaned up after themselves. I'd recommend them again.

I live in a older Broad Ripple home and I had been having drain back issues over the last few years. I finally had them run a snake through the line and the old clay pipes had deteriorated allowing small roots to get in. There was no way I couldn't have the project done. It was going to be a decent sized job. They came out and gave me a quote. After they came out and started, they saw it would be a bigger job than originally thought. My yard set up was not the best for the tractors they needed. It took them a few days and I was without plumbing. Weather and other factors made it a messy job. But they continued to push on. They kept the same quote and did everything that they promised, which I appreciated. I was very pleased with the guys that came out and did the work. Always keeping me in the loop on progress. The yard was a mess when it was done, but that is what I expected. I would absolutely recommend Hope for a project like this.

Replaced vanity and mirror adding electrical outlet. Installed ceiling fan and light. Replaced all bathtub plumbing fixtures. Installed wall cabinet. Installed light over the vanity. Put new plaster finish on walls and ceilings. All work done in approximately three days. Complete cleanup when work was finished. Workman was efficient and knowledgeable about working in a house over 80 years old.

Hope Plumbing rep came in and disconnected the old water heater. I helped him drain the old one so it would be able to be carried out. Brought in the new one, had to replace some pipes and did duct work to make it fit properly. Think it took about 2 hours and everything worked fine afterwards. Had funny smell like something burning in the basement for a week later but called Hope and they said sometimes that happens with new heaters. If smell continued after a week they'd come out and look at it but it went away. All's good.

The man was very nice and seemed knowledgeable about a variety of problems and circumstances. I would recommend him highly if you have an older home.
