They were really prompt in getting it done and getting out to see me. They worked really hard. They were here for 12 hours and they got it done.

+ -1 moreTheir estimate was fair (inline with others), but mostly we decided to go with Hope because of the confidence they showed understanding the issues. We have a 100 year old home, so it hard telling exactly what is going on with the pluming system when all the drains are buried in the basement floor. Other companies just wanted to put a camera down the lines and charge me for it, but Hope was able to figure it out based on a few clues and years of experience I suppose. I would use the again in the future.
Description of Work: Hope Plumbing installed a back flow preventer valve on our main sewer line.

After inspecting our problem, they recommended a new water heater. They gave us an estimate for two options, one of which allowed us to have a tax credit. They were able to install the new water heater the next day. Very responsive.

+ -1 moreWe had leaky faucet that needed replacing. Had purchased another faucet to install. Thought this would be a good deal. The required email communication was rather frustrating and slow. Good thing this wasn't an emergency! In addition, Hope informed us the $49 was for diagnostic service only. Consequently, we found another plumbing service to do the work at a much lower rate than they were going to charge.

Description of Work: My tankless water heater was not firing all the time. I called the manufacture and they suggested I put a larger gas line to the unit and have it cleaned. I have had the unit for 5 years and did not know it needed to be serviced regularly. I read the excellent reviews and called Hope. They scheduled Charlie W to come out right away. He arrived on time and called ahead. He listened to what the manufacturer recommended, told me what he could do and got it done! He will be back to flush the unit out when he gets the right parts. The original installer did not install the flush kit.

+ -1 moreI called the emergency number early in the morning as we had huge water spots appearing in the ceiling. Hope was at our house by ten and took off a section of the ceiling and then went to upstairs bathroom to try and identify the source of water. After going over all plumbing in the bathroom he pulled out a long segment of piping and replaced it. This is such a good service and I urge everyone to try them. They are honest and good and very clean when repairing. Our holiday will be a lot better because of Hope! Karen McCallum

+ 0 moreWe were very happy with the work done by Charlie and the staff of Hope Plumbing. Our old tankless water heater was dying, leaving us with cold showers. I called on Monday, they came out Tuesday to give us a quote and Wednesday morning they installed the new unit. It is so nice to deal with folks you can trust. Charlie gave us a unit that is appropriate for our house and really knows his way around the tankless units. We will use this company for all our plumbing needs.

The repairman was the same who installed the pipes back in 2012. The busted pipe was due to the extreme cold and had nothing to do with the original installation.

+ 0 moreI noticed back flow in the other drain while running the garbage disposal. Tim came out from Hope Plumbing and verified that the disposal was working properly. He tried a chemical pour into the non-disposal drain while running very hot water. This was repeated. He then used a snake to clean the drain which did the trick. No more back flow and clear sounding disposal. Very happy with the result.
Description of Work: Determined garbage disposal was in working order, so he snaked the drain to clean it out.

Additionally, our main line was deeper than typical, which made it more work than they originally anticipated. Although the job took a little longer than they originally thought, they were still able to resolve the situation with a minimal amount of work and under the original cost estimate. I would recommend Hope Plumbing to others.
