Hope Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling

We had dripping water in our garage, coming from the bathroom upstairs. We suspected it was a break in the shower drain pan. We called 2 places that replaced drain pans, and were told by one that we should be prepared for a full shower replacement ($5000), and the other came out and took a look, recommending Hope Plumbing to check out the pipes instead. We were so impressed with Hope Plumbing, who replaced the pipes (the leak stopped!), that we hired them to replace 3 toilets in our house with taller ADA certified ones.

Generally, things went well! However, some of the work had to be re-done because the initial pipe cleanings were insufficient, and the pipes had to ultimately be replaced.

We have had Hope out a couple times over the years and the work has always been satisfactory. They always arrive on time, explain options and get right to work. I am sure I could find specials or other places with cheaper rates at times but they have always been reasonable and I much prefer consistent quality work over the lowest possible price.

Good...work was explained well before hand during the estimate....kitchen sink drains are much less complicated now and shower is functioning much better also. They cleaned up after themselves too...It took almost 2 full days to complete the 3 tasks as the existing bathtub/shower and kitchen sink plumbing had actually been done by the previous homeowner.

Very well & they "cleaned up" some pipe configuration.

I grew-up in the plumbing business, and know quite a few companies in Central Indiana. Hope Plumbing is the company I choose for their professionalism and honesty.

Hope called within hours and were able to set up an appointment to get the work done the following morning. The two guys arrived on time and got the work done quickly and efficiently. They were both pleasant and friendly. Very pleased with the process through Angie's List and the work by Hope Plumbing

Plumber came in very dirty. Did nothing to try to fix the problem of no running water in the shower. He only gave reasons why he couldn't fix it. He was more concerned about who installed the faucet to begin with and who installed the water heater. That has nothing to do with anything. Because we didn't have a delta faucet, he wouldn't even look at fixing it. Terrible company.

We were involved with 4 people who came to our house. They were all personable, professional, concerned and capable. My only disappointment was in timeliness. On Wed. morning, we were told that we were in an emergency and that permits would be pulled immediately and work would begin. But, due to booked workers and the specialist being off for medical reasons, our relief didn't come for 6 days. They need contingency plans to assure customers who cannot flush toilets or worse will be handled immediately or not take on the job.

They installed the water heater in a day. It looks great and Josh was very patient with me while explaining how it works and everything they did. It looks great!

started a fire in the wall. Indianapolis fire department responded. used axes to cut through the wall and ripped the door off the bosch dishwasher to pull it out to get to source ( Jan 13 17 ) House was filled with smoke ..May have replaced dishwasher with inferior model. still have that to check out. Insisted on a licensed electrician to inspect wiring that was done only after I would not let someone else in until it was inspected by an a licensed electrican. refused to clean carpet or replace kitchen carpet.. House still smells. Refused to talk to me anymore. Wants us to fix everything .

Arrived on time and completed the projects asked about quickly. Would hire again and recommend.

He figured it out!!! At least we think so - so far, so good. Plus, he gave us the next two options at two different price points, so we are pleased. (My only knock and this is because of my own lack of tolerance, but the gentleman was obviously and smoker and smelled it noticeably.)

It went well. I trusted what they were telling me as I don't know a lot about plumbing. They were less expensive then the first plumber I called and they were very professional.

Overall the experience was pretty pleasant, especially given the circumstance we were in with a blocked sewer line. The technician was a professional who clearly took pride in his work and was very confident in his abilities. Once we agreed on the work to do and the price, he methodically pulled the tree root from our aging clay pipes. I recommend Hope. The only downside was the process of agreeing on a price and work to be performed as there was confusion whether a coupon could be used.

They were very knowledgeable but the price seemed a little extreme.

Jim with Hope did a great job. Because it was after hours and another customer was ahead of me, it took a couple of hours for them to get to me. After they did, Jim did a great job of fixing the problem and then following up on a couple of other requests that I had, leaving me with quotes for each of them. Multiple people have told me that they are good with older homes and I would have to agree. I would definitely use them in the future.

It went very well. Josh got the first stage of the work done a day early! I don't particularly understand exactly how it all works but Josh is very patient in explaining what he is doing and why. I will be using them again soon to install a tank less water heater as well.

It was wonderful. They got it done quickly. There was a three man crew and after replacing the pipes they put my yard back together and you can't even tell it was tore up.

It was fine. I thought they were very honest and they did good work. They showed up whenever they said they were going to. My interaction with them was good. The work was good. I would tell them that they're honest and their price is reasonable.

First visit got out some tree roots that seemed to be the culprit, then the camera guy came and discovered a block in another location, so the drain guy had to come back out. He recommended having the tank emptied, so I did a week later. The finger system was good and everything else checked out okay so the drain guy came back (no additional charge from the first visit) and figured out the problem, even though it took determination. Life is now back to normal!

They are very prompt and work well with older homes, which is what I have. I was more confident with them because with it being an older home, they could run into other issues that a new home would not have to deal with.

They couldn't even find out what was the problem. They didn't fix the problem because they couldn't find it.
