They put me on an payment plan, which I really liked. They were efficient.

I called Hope late Wednesday afternoon, they were out diagnosing the problem on Thursday and presented three options for repair. I elected to replace 20 ft of underground sewer line; they were out first thing Friday and finished by Friday evening. They were very respectful of keeping the interior of the house clean, explained very clearly exactly what they were doing, and worked hard to save as much of my landscaping as possible, digging everything by hand! My only surprise was that the final dirtwork, tamping and leveling, was left to me, but it was mentioned in the contract so I have no real beef, they aren't a landscape company. Overall, one of the easiest companies to work with!

It was a horrible experience. If I wasn't on vacation right now, it would probably be in the hands of my attorney. They didn't put in the proper equipment, they didn't install it correctly. They did such a poor job I'm going to have to hire another plumber to come out and fix it. They didn't return my phone call regarding an attempt to fix was not right. I called twice and both times I was told a manager would have to get back to me and no one has.

This has been a terrible experience in an already stressful time. No one plans for sewer problems to happen. My wife called Hope Plumbing this past Saturday after receiving a recommendation from a couple in our neighborhood. They were having the same work done at their house that we assume will need done at our house. She explained to Hope Plumbing in great detail the issues we are experiencing and specifically said we need a camera through our sewer line. Our appointment was for Monday between 8-12. I received a phone call at 10:30 and 11:30am apologizing for the delay but the morning job was taking longer than expected, but they would still have someone out that day. So I waited... 3:00pm rolls around and I finally call to find out what is taking so long. Same message...morning job is taking long blah blah blah. I'm starting to get irritated, but he still said someone would come out. Then, at 3:30 I receive a call saying the morning job took all day and they would have to reschedule the appointment. Now I'm really frustrated. I used a vacation day to be at this appointment. I completely wasted a vacation day for nothing. So, I then call my wife to see if she can take off work Tuesday to reschedule this appointment. She reluctantly agreed as long as we would be the first appointment of the day. I then called Hope Plumbing back and requested to be the first appointment of the day and he agreed to that. Our window Tuesday (today) was 8-9:30am. At 9:22 a young man shows up and speaks with my wife. When she asked where the camera was, since she went into so much detail and specifically asked for one, he didn't have one. Not only did he not have one, he couldn't do it and said "Ryan does that". The tech even said he had lots of notes about this job, so I am unsure why Ryan didn't come in the first place. They schedule to have Ryan out between 10-2. Without any phone calls from Hope, my wife called them at 2pm. The woman stated that he was on the way and would be there within the hour. At 3:00 my wife called back and cancelled everything. Not only did they waste our time, we wasted two vacation days at work for nothing. We are no closer to having definitive answers about our sewer problems. One thing is for sure, Hope Plumbing has lost our business. I am sure the management that reads reviews will see this and can figure out who we are. I would appreciate a phone call, please. The one positive out of this is the two dispatchers that we spoke to on Monday and Tuesday were nice and apologetic. But, unfortunately that doesn't replace our wasted time and vacation days.

Over the phone, I was quoted $69. I took off work and when the company came out they told me the work would now me $400. When I asked why it was so much higher, I was told that the receptionist quoted the wrong price. I wouldn't recommend this company and I will be using another company.

Initially it went very well. Responsive scheduler, and they were able to clarify that the $39 service-call fee mentioned in many of these Angie's List reviews was a limited time coupon that is no longer available. That's fine with me, and once clarified I was glad to pay their typical fee which is I believe $69. It gets waived if we have them do the actual repair. I was unavailable to be home for the appointment, so my significant other was home. I called her during the appointment for an update, and she said it was going to be around $500 for the repair. I was pretty shocked because I was expecting it to be much less. It turns out Mike tried to upsell her to an unneeded replacement of a functioning toilet bowl citing the "incredible efficiency of the new 1.6gpf bowls" and a "possibility" that something was wrong with ours. He was already out picking up the replacement toilet when I called him to see what was going on. I told him he was called to repair a leak, and that replacing the toilet bowl was something that shouldn't be done unless it was required to fix the original leak. It turns out he didn't even give us a quote to "just fix the leak". The two quotes were to rebuild the entire toilet for $400ish or replace the toilet for $500. He conveniently left out the $253 option to just replace the wax-seal and fix the leak. I directed him to address the original problem, and if was unable to do so, call me with an update to see how we should proceed. I called the office while he was doing the work to make sure we were only going to be charged for the repair and not the additional time spent due to the miscommunication. I spoke with Michael, a service manager. Michael also raved about the incredible efficiency of the new 1.6gpf toilets, and I had to end up cutting him off so we could discuss the relevant issues. It turns out the $253 is the standard price to remove the stool to gain access to the flange, install new bolts and wax seal, and reset the toilet. I was satisfied with the information and ended the call. I marked N/A for the "Quality" grade for the time being. Once we can confirm it's leak-free, I'll update that score. I would be very hesitant to recommend them to any friends due to their attempt to sell me something I didn't need. I don't feel as though Hope Plumbing has the best interest of their customer in mind. We called them because of some neighbors that had used them in the past, but unfortunately we didn't have the same positive experience.

Went well. Took advantage of an Angie's List deal to deal with a home maintenance task that had been deferred a long time. It's good to know that I can get water turned off quickly if needed in an emergency.

Project went well. They were well over 10 feet down and struggled to find the line, however they got it done properly, quickly and for a great price.

Bought as a Daily Deal. Hope came out quite promptly. Technician was knowledgeable about options for our needs. Installation went smoothly.

Great! Mr. Mike Caylor did an excellent job. Very friendly, courteous and professional.

I had to call several times. There was 1 person and it took an hour, once he was here. He was fine. My biggest complaint on why I wouldn't use their services again was they gave me like a 4 hour window so I had to take off work in order to be home for them. Then they ended up showing up at the end of the 4 hour window so I ended up having to take off the entire day. It's bad enough having a 4 hour window in the first place. I called them in the 4 hour window and they always responded and said he will be there in 30 minutes, and an hour later I'd call again. They need to organize their schedule better. I wouldn't use them again for that reason. The work went fine and the area was clean. While he was here, he was attentive and answered all of our questions. They also do payments online and that was nice because there was no paperwork and all that. They definitely need to work on punctuality.

We're pleased. He did more than he was going to and I don't think he charged me any more than what the estimate was. We're really happy.

The prices were reasonable. They are pretty good. I think two people came out, one took a long time and one took no time at all. Left the area clean, very clean. They did good work, very friendly in doing their work and I do not remember feeling gauged in prices.

He identified what was leaking and fixed it without cutting into the walls or ceiling. Very knowledgeable and did a great job.

Great, no real complaints. One area of my basement where they were working was left a little dirty, but I don't think was done intentionally.

Excellent for all. I did not even need to incur a charge for the frozen pipe. The woman who answers the phone helped meconfirm that the problem of no water in certain faucets but not others was that the problem was the water softener. The water softener pipe was in the garage and more vulnerable to the sub zero temps. She recommended how to unfreeze it and I was able tdo that on my own.

It went absolutely perfect. I have had no problems since they have been here. I would recommend them to anyone!

They were very prompt and the service workers where very professional. I wouldn't use anyone else. I've used them for years on my rentals too. You can always count on them.

Did a great job of clearing two difficult bowl sinks and getting them draining well again.

Perfectly. A leak was found in the water heater in the morning and they had it replaced within hours. The service people were polite, clean and responsive.

I called Hope plumbing and was told right away that they were booked solid but could come out the following day. After a little more discussion, they said they could have someone come over right away. A service man came out within 1/2 hour, found the shut off valve, repaired the pipes and let us know the reason the pipes burst was due to our furnace not working. That being said, we called out someone to immediately fix the furnace.
