It went great! Dave came out and took all of the measurements at my home, and then we went to the shop to select my stone. About a week later, he and his two workers arrived. They removed my vintage 1977 PINK Formica countertops and installed the gorgeous granite. The entire process took less than four hours, and they disposed of the old materials and cleaned up after themselves before they left. Dave even installed my new sink and faucet, and fabricated a beautiful granite Lazy Susan of the stone that was removed from the slab where the sink went in.

The project involved detail and completion and the cost included the entire work performed and the product.

The personal service and quality of installation by Dave Esslinger was outstanding. We had never selected granite for home use before. Dave guided us through the process, including showing us a variety of options, explaining differences and considerations regarding long-term value, and even decorating advice. We called probably a half-dozen times with questions before selecting Dave's company, and our calls were always promptly returned and questions answered. When it came time to install the granite, the process was worry-free. Dave and his crew arrived on time, quickly tore out our old counters, installed the new granite, and even thoroughly cleaned up. We can recommend Dave and Granite by Design without hesitation. I should add that Dave also was the low bid we obtained, but we pay a higher price to work with him again.

Prompt service and timed to do area by area. Removal of discarded items and very clean during the job. Experience was so good that we referred them to (3) additional clients that all use Granite by Design for their jobs, too! Great ideas and installation.

We were referred to Dave by our general contractor. We met Dave at the granite warehouse to pick out a slab. We got a sample, took it home and then decided it was all wrong. I called Dave that evening and he met me back out at the warehouse the next day and walked me through the selection process a second time. He helped me choose a slab based on very specific likes and dislikes. Dave's shop was closed for the holidays, but he promised that he would bump us to first on his list starting on January 2nd because I explained that my husband and I were unable to live in our house without the kitchen and the countertops were the missing part. He promised to deliver the counters on the following Monday (7th) and he did; they showed up and the counters were installed by noon on the 7th. They installed the counters and they are so beautiful! I almost cried when I saw them. Dave's guys are clean and efficient and best of all, the product was delivered on time and on budget.
