Description of Work: We had this company out to switch a burnt out light sensor so that all of our outdoor lights came on at dusk. It was a $20 part that did not need installed, only replaced. The service technician told us that he had one in his truck, and it would only take a couple of minutes, so we said OK, we are already paying the trip charge so we might as well go ahead and have him do the work while he is here. He was mistaken about having the part in his truck, and the next thing we know, he's making a run to the hardware store, which took an hour there and back, all of which we were charged for. He was also apparently on the clock while he did an estimate for us for other work, and apparently had to do "research". We ended up paying over $230 to replace a $20 part. It was beyond ridiculous.

Description of Work: I called in and told them we needed the outside temperature sensor for the thermostat replaced, made an appointment for technician to visit. He shows up and says yes it needs replaced, but he doesn't have one with him in his truck, so he'll have to order it and come back. He does that and a few days later comes back and installs it. My irritation stems from the fact that they installed the system and thermostat and they should have had the sensor with them on the first visit and then they charged me for two service calls.
