They are very nice to deal with. Seem to really care about the customer. Needed a heating/cooling expert to testify for us in court for a lawsuit we filed against a builder. Duct work was not installed properly. After contacting many companies, they were the only company willing to go to court to testify on our behalf.

Tony Young was extremely helpful and explained all my options. The home we purchased two months ago and was a model home built in 2000, so I knew the system would need replaced sooner than later. After extensive research, we chose the Carrier Infinity system due to it's high ratings we read about on the internet. The A/C went out on a Thursday, and Godby was able to install the new system the next day. The four installers, Ricky, Ricky, Mike, and Jared were courteous and fast, and our home went from 86 degrees inside to 73 in about six hours. This company was great and the technicians as well. We highly recommend them to anyone needing an A/C or Furnace.
Description of Work: New Complete Carrier Infinity A/C and Furnace installed after existing A/C compressor failed. We replaced the builder's 10 seer unit with a 17 seer A/C unit and a two stage 96% 80,000 btu furnace with the Carrier Infinity Control. This units also allows us to control the indoor humidity which is a huge plus. We expect the system to pay for itself in less than five years.

I had no experience with this company prior to this. I was completely impressed from Dave Hut, the technician who gave me the bad news that my unit would have to be replaced to Tony Young the salesperson to Jeff Todd and Larry the installers. First rate all around. A quality group of folks.
Description of Work: My air conditioning quit working completely on Tuesday. On Wednesday, I called the company with whom I had a service contract and told them the situation. They told me they could come in a week, I complained and they said maybe Saturday. I was furious. I pulled up Angie's list and started calling the A list. When I got Godby a very nice man named Paul said he thought he could have someone there the next day and he did. Technician Dave Hut arrived and delivered the bad news: the unit was dead. He called Tony Young the salesman who met me at my house at 6:30 A.M. the next day to accommodate my schedule. Because my furnace was 20 years old, Tony suggested replacing both the AC and Furnace. He gave me three options and I chose the one that best fit my budget. He was able to get the unit installed Saturday! The installers Jeff Todd and Larry were fantastic. They were meticulous in their work and even painted my wall to conceal the change from a larger unit.

Tony Young was very helpful in determining our needs. He also followed up with a phone call after they gave us the estimate. Upon installation, the 2 men that did the job were very neat and efficient. They answered any questions we had after their work was finished. Very Professional!

I am very pleased with my ''Godby'' experience. My home is 125 years old, so I always have complications on any project I undertake. Paul Williams was very responsive to problems (expected when tying in to an old system) and even sent someone out on a holiday to replace a faulty part. I would recommend this company to anyone!
