I needed a new thermostat so I decided to get a programmable thermostat instead of the regular thermostats. The programmable thermostat is a energy saver.

It was just fine. They are very friendly and they know what they are doing. They will do the work in the time frame they give you. They do quality work.

I was very impressed with their work and it was promptly done at a fair price. They even called with a follow up call which was nice as well.

They were very friendly when they were there working for me. They were very professional about the job. They had showed up on time to do the work for me.

Our A/C went out after a violent electrical storm. I found a Godby ad in the phone book directory that promised same day service. I called and was told that they could have someone out the next day. When I pointed out that their ad offered same day service, the dispatcher agreed and said he would have someone out later in the day. I was told that the diagnosis charge would be $120.00. I agreed. The tech showed up about three hours later, and was very pleasant. He went straight to work and quickly determined that the furnace control board was defective. Here's where things go south for me. The tech said that he thought that he had a replacement board on his truck, but the total bill would be $698.00 for parts and labor. Because of the sweltering weather conditions I reluctantly agreed. He replaced the board, collected the $698.00, and was gone in less than 1 hour for the entire service call, start to finish. A quick search on the internet revealed that this board is available at retail for $198.00 - $214.00. The knowledge necessary to diagnose and fix the problem notwithstanding, I feel that the charges were grossly excessive. Every company and tradesman is entitled to fair compensation and profit, but not fairly gained when taking advantage of emergency conditions. The service was great, but the pricing stinks!

The line was filled with roots. They did not show up in the estimated window nor did they call to let us know they would be late. When they arrived, Jason, did way more to satisfy us then we expected.

I have a service contract with this company. They check the heating unit in the fall and the air conditioner in the spring. The cost listed is for both visits. Anyone that you deal with at this company is very personable and professional. I've liked the tech that comes out so much, Rick Peterson, I've requested that he come back. Rick's noticed things that could have been missed by others and has even done a few things at no extra charge.

The tech was polite and was on time. They quoted me $800 to replace the whole pump or $270 for just the float switch. The tech was very patient as I was on the phone with my husband trying to give him the info about the situation. We ended up not having the work done since they seemed a bit high on the price. I plan on getting other estimates.

The serviceman invited me to take a look at my old furnace before he replaced it, so I was able to see the problem myself and that it needed to be replaced. Godby was prompt, they had in their warehouse the furnace I needed, at the size that I needed it and they were efficient. I would use them again.

They were truly good people. There was nothing we felt they could have done better. We would use them again.

They were very professional, removed and installed in one day.

I recently moved and so they took care of everything for me. They are just fabulous. I will use them again in the future.

We woke up one day to no heat in the house and called Godby to come out and repair it. The technician arrived the same day to assess the situation. He checked the unit over and at first could not find anything wrong. He followed a hunch based on some circuit readings and took the inducer motor off the furnace. The motor wheel was warped and split, which would cause the furnace to work some of the time without failure. He was unable to replace it that day since the motor is hard to find but we were able to get it functioning temporarily until he came back 2 days later to install the new part. He was very good at diagnosing the issue and was very pleasant to work with. He explained everything very well and showed me how all the parts worked together. I have always felt confident with their company.

The service was friendly, prompt and effective.

Their follow up stunk. There was just one person who didn't do what he said he would do on two different issues. It was frustrating.

We had an issue with the dumpster service used for our roofing project. Godby was able to resolve this. We are happy with this work and it looks great! We feel we really got value for our buck.

I liked they mail out and call to remind you when they are coming for the maintenance. The guy who comes out is professional. They do a good job at a good price.

After they left, my brother who was visiting realized there was an air leak. Godby came out very quickly to fix the problem with no charge. He said he would be on the look out for other people living in the Condos so they would not experience the same problem.

They were excellent and I worked with Craig. They took the time to educate the different benefits of the systems. They came out to look at the house to find out what would work best for the house. We felt that they weren't trying to up sell us.

Excellent. It was done professionally, on time, they came when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves.

My heat stopped working over the weekend. I called Godby Monday morning. I have worked with Godby before, so I trust them. I left a key under the mat and when I got home from work, my heat was working, and a detailed explanation was written out for me. I love working with this company. Everyone is courteous and friendly and takes their time to explain things. Documentation is complete, which I really appreciate! I highly recommend this company!

They told me my heater was too big for my house, so they cut a hole in the side of the heater so it would vent into the garage. This was to prevent it from shutting off from overheating. It turns out that it was not the problem. I wasn't at home when they did it. I called them the next day to ask them why they did it. They said they didn't cut the hole but that my boyfriend did. They sent someone out to repair the hole and I was told by the repairman that my boyfriend couldn't have cut the hole, that it was professionally done. They patched the hole, found the real problem and my boyfriend was able to fix it himself.

First, the salesperson Tony was prompt and professional with the quote process. He was knowledgeable about the equipment and our needs (even encouraging us to reduce the furnace size because our previous 120k BTU was oversized for the house, which I confirmed by by purchasing an inexpensive BTU calculation software at www.hvaccomputer.com) as well as a specific code issue for chimney exhaust. Second, price was quite competitive. Third, Tony was able to prioritize the installation close to the July 4th holiday because our AC went out when my wife delivered our 2nd child. The on site team was professional and worked a very long day to get things running. My only concern was that one of the flex tube seals leaked some cool air, but after a phone call Tony sent a crew back within a few days to take care of the problem. So the quote and installation went well overall, and so far we haven't had any problems with the equipment. I would recommend Godby for HVAC installations.

We were impressed that they were able to get someone out the same day to check out our problem. Also they agreed to honor an expired coupon on their web site for a free inspection. Since it was still posted I asked if they would honor it and they said yes. When the first technician came out to investigate the problem, he said that he would have to send someone out later with the required part. He charged me the visit fee and said it would be credited when the work was done later that day. The second technician came out later that day as promised and completed the work. He said that someone at the office would take care of deducting the charge for the visit. This charge still appeared on my credit card statement and it took numerous calls to their office to get the charge deducted, and I finally had to dispute it with my credit card because the company was so unresponsive to my calls. On the positive side, we haven't had problems with the furnace since.

Was on time. Very professional. Informed me of parts that were starting to go bad, but left it up to me to decide to replace. Was also the first service provider to let me know that I could get the air filters cheaper at a hardware store. Didn't know the 5'' depth filters were available at hardware store. Saved me some money. Also installed a new Honeywell programmable thermostat free of charge for renewing service contract. When it didn't work the first day (Saturday), came back promptly on Sunday to replace (again at no charge).
