The first visit, Erie was late - and I was his first appointment of the day. I had to call several times because his voicemail box was full. When he finally got here - 4 hours late - he explained he was swamped with bookings from the Lowe's ceiling fan sale. I can sympathize...but he should have called first, to tell me how late he would be. The second time he came out, due to a problem with Lowe's contract, he was again late. I called him - he told me he was in a small accident the night before, and was taking his truck into the shop. Again, he should have called me the night before (his own admission) to let me know. I had taken the day off work, so I insisted he come out. He said he would get his truck serviced, and be out in the afternoon. After multiple calls to him to check status, he was on his way. Then, there was a problem with him and Lowe's that I won't go into here...but very disappointed in service from Mr. Electric. He did install a receptacle.

Mr. Shaffer completed everything to our satisfaction. The work was done efficiently and we were happy with the reasonable price. Mr. Shaffer himself completes the work. He's a pleasant person and very professional. I'd refer this gentleman to others and I plan to use his services in the future.

Final pricing was 30% higher than written estimate, and contractor (Eric) threatened to place mechanics lien on property and stop sale/closing if we didn't pay difference. His rational was that his teenage assistant miscounted the number of switches that needed replacing. Work was completed 1.5 days after "agreed upon" date necessary to be prepared for buyer's inspection. Sellers broker had to vent fan installed by Eric out roof vent because Eric didn't install fan "to code". Eric wanted more money to vent fan properly. Otherwise electrical work passed inspection.

Had a little trouble connecting on the scheduled appointment but once he arrived, the service was excellent. Very personable, pleasant and efficient on replacing the fan. Cleaned up all trash and hauled the old fan off. Completely satisfied!

Service was better than expected. Resolved issue after minor troubleshooting. Technician new exactly what to do. Service was quick, friendly, and professional. Went beyond the call of duty by cleaning my light fixture and replacing all bulbs while on the ladder. Won't call anyone else.
