Description of Work: We used the Angie's List special to have our furnace serviced. We had also used it 2 years ago, and had decided to have them, along with others, later give us an estimate on a new furnace. The original tech had told us the furnace was in pretty good shape for its age (21 years). We had Efficient Systems install our new furnace and are very pleased with it and with their service.

Description of Work: Had a leaky outside spigot. The $149.00 did not include going into crawl space to replace a new spigot that would be additional $130.00 cost and would need two people to do job. We decided to buy replacement parts an additional $15.00 our cost and repair original spigot. Had to come back out the second time when parts came in, no extra cost. Very professional was on time and did a good job. Just wish we knew about the additional cost needed for repair.

Description of Work: Didn't have the parts on hand,didnt really save anything. He had to go to a plumbing store to get simple parts to rebuild guts of faucet. It didn't need replaced. All in all job got done, I could have done it for $35 bucks or less.

Description of Work: There were problems setting up the initial appointment. When the technician asked to see the basement, I informed him that I was on a crawl space. I could tell he was not pleased, but after taking a quick look, he told me he would need another workman to help him, one under the house and one outside. That would cost an additional $149 and they could schedule the work 2 weeks later. I informed him that I could not do that and wanted a refund of my "big deal". His response was that had to come from Angie's List, not their company. I followed with a call to Angie's List. They would not refund my money, only replace it with another "deal." I am not happy with Efficient Systems or Angie's List. I will not be purchasing another deal from Angie's List.

Description of Work: Efficient Systems did a seasonal check on my furnace for me. In addition to being affordable, prompt and thorough, my service tech was also friendly, informative, and courteous. I've had other companies perform the same service who have managed to be none of those things, so I really recommend them!
