Description of Work: They removed old insulation in the attic, basement, an old window, updated the temperature control units for the central air making them wireless and controlled via a smartphone. I had around 3 other local contractors that provided me quotes. All were in the same ballpark, minus the temperature control units, those were added later. I have an old home built in 1931. I had severe drafts throughout the house. All the other contractors wanted to replace windows, and blow in insulation. Steve brought in a new system I haven't seen before. He showed me where i was losing heat. Come to find out it was a window in the basement, sealing around the basement and the attic which I already was aware of. He told me all my other windows were fine. All in all I normally had to run my thermostat at 78 to keep it warm and even then I had to use a throw blanket most of the time due to the drafts in the house. After Steve and his crew finished, I have no drafts and run my thermostat at 73 downstairs and 63 upstairs! :-) They foamed the basement, and put in some new type of insulation that has aluminum foil on it. All I can say is that this was the best decision I made! Also since the Company has a particular certification, can't remember what it is; but I received a sizable rebate for the work that was done due to the work meeting a Residential Rebate Program here in Indianapolis!!
