Description of Work: New Kitchen sink installed, new faucet installed, Old ceiling fan removed from vaulted ceiling in our family room and a new ceiling fan assembled and installed, deaden an outlet in the kitchen at the end of counter, in hallway we needed another outlet deadened because my wife wanted to put a mirror there and the switch was in the way so they put just a blank plate in its place for us. Also we have two coach lights that are on both ends of the garage, but they were gas. We had them convert them to electric and also install two new lights in place of the gas lights. We also have a coach light on a pole in the front yard that was not working. They checked it out and installed a new sensor which was found to be bad. They also installed a new light fixture to the top of the pole which matched the two they installed on the garage. In the back yard they installed two spot lights which they ran the power from on outlet that was at one end of the house.

+ 0 moreWork never got done. Vendor was supposed to call, set up date for work. We never heard from the vendor, yet our credit card was billed for the service. Our landline phone service was not working well during that period -- so the fault with communications may have been on our end -- not sure. Also, I ordered this service as a special deal through Angie's List -- so not sure who actually billed our credit card. But would not have expected card to have been billed without verification that services actually provided. Bottom line: There were several SNAFUs here -- not sure I should be blaming the vendor or Angie's List.

Technician says the faucet was too close to the ceiling of my lower level and he would have to get additional tools to complete the job and it take more than an hour and additional costs. He advised me to buy a small top to put over the opening where the water was dripping and he turned off the water handle with his hands.

+ -1 morePOOR !! Technician did not leave any paperwork behind explaining 20 point check -up. I was out of town but when technician finished --he told my wife that the system needed a pound of refrigerant and that would cost $129. System is only 2 years old and was working fine and it was the end of the season so my wife declined. Next day A/C stopped working !!! Decided to get ARS (original installer of equipment) to come out. No leaks found but was short 1 pound --very suspicious (ARS confirmed) !! You get what you pay for --lesson learned !!
Description of Work: Two year old A/C heat pump and Furnace system needed normal annual tune-up. Efficient Systems offered 20 point tune-up for $39 .
