Did not perform the service.

Randy is a busy guy. We played telephone tag a few time bUt finally connected. We set an appointment date for approximately one week out. Randy called me the morning of our appointment and indicated his las Jacob was running a little long and he'd be about an hour late to my appointment. I appreciated the heads up. He then came and provided estimate and offered to come back later that day to do the job. He stayed past 6pm to complete it and then even came by first thing the next morning to do ainal clean up. I was very impressed with the quality and conscientious attention to detail of Randy's work. He called four days later to ensure everything about the job was to my liking. He's a quality guy who just happens to quite busy. I would recommend his work to anyone needing tile work.

We bought the Angie's Big Deal. The service was easily scheduled and the provider did what they said they would and followed up afterward to make sure all was fine.

Scheduling was a challenge. Initially scheduled cleaning in September, he was a no show, and was unresponsive to multiple emails and voice mail messages for weeks. We finally rescheduled approximately two months later, and the work done was to our satisfaction. Better communication would definitely be appreciated.

All went very well. He was flexible to fit my schedule and did everything in a professional manner.

It had a bad start to begin with. I was told that I would be contacted within 48 hours once I had purchased the "big deal", which took place on Oct. 07, 2012. Well, I was not contacted by the service provide until Oct. 26, telling me it had all been booked up until Nov. 19, 2012. I do not know who to blame for the slow response: the service provide or Angei'd List? I thought things could not be any worse from here, Boy, I was wrong. No one showed up on the scheduled service day. Upon my inquiry, I was told that my service was not on the schedule of that day. I had email record that the date was agreed upon. The events after that can be simply illustrated by the email trail below: Dear Mr. Jones: I am contacting you one more time about whether you will be able to honor the contract on Monday, Dec. 17. I have demonstrated my patience and understanding throughout the process, and hope that you will honor the contract as you promised. Best regards. Purchased a Big Deal. Ended up adding to the cost because of the size of my kitchen and laundry room. Owner and helper did the work. Did a terrific job. The floor looks brand new. He advised on maintaining it so the cleaning has lasted. Would use again.

Good. Fair and honest company.

We purchased the The Big Deal for 3 hours of grout repair. Once we got it scheduled, he showed up on time and did good work. He also gave me guidance on what products to purchase and techniques to best stain our grout. This was very helpful. Our tile floor that is 8 years old, now looks brand new!

He kept wanting to add on to my "deal." Ended up spending $200 extra just to squirt some cleaner on my tile. Quite frankly, I think I got taken advantage of. I would not deal with this company again. .

Calking went fine. Coordinating the schedule and the start time was a challenge.

He was a nice, hard working guy, but scrimps on detail from having so many other side handyman businesses. Kept re-setting our date for service. The sealer coat was a joke. Took him 10 min. using an inferior sealer product. The tile cleaning itself though, was a nice job.

There was a misunderstanding about the day he was supposed to come but it was totally my fault. However, Mr. Jones came on the day we talked and did a very good job on my counters. Our house is 15 years old and the caulking had dried out and separated so he recaulked the counters in the kitchen and bathrooms and it looks like new. I would definitely use him again - actually I am going to have him clean my tile floor in the kitchen after the first of the year.

Getting a hold of Randy seemed a bit complicated at first. We didn't seem to have the correct phone numbers and his messages were not coming through to my phone, but once a date was set, he was punctual. I was concerned they wouldn't get finished with my punch list in the time purchased but they finished early! Their staff was friendly and polite. The quality of painting was excellent and they did a complete job, including clean-up.

It took a number ( large) of calls to make contact with this individual. On the first few calls he spent much of the time complaining about Angie'sList, which I did not want to hear. After finally getting scheduled and taking a vacation day to get the work done, He did not show. Three phone calls later he returned a call. He commenced to tell me that I was not on his schedule and that he was very "careful about these things". He went to check his schedule, this time actually did call back and began to blame his wife for the scheduling error. I offered him a chance to reschedule on a weekend as I had already used my vacation to be here, but he refused this. I commented that he seemed too shift blame a lot ( to Angies list and his wife) and I mentioned that I would be happy to fill out a review for Angie's List and 'his wife". His reply per text was that "he would not be threatened and that I could take that to the bank". So no , not a good experience

they never returned my last 2 phone calls. In order to answer your solicited survey I could not submit unless all items were checked so I chose today's date and completed all other items as best I could.

We couldn't be more pleased. They contacted us right away, and came out as promised at the scheduled time. They discussed options for the tile and explained pricing for each option. While they were here, they noticed some missing grout in the tile floor of our entry way. They repaired that grout while there were here too. The finished product looks amazing!! I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing tile and grout work done.

Purchased time via "The Big Deal". Company did not contact us as indicated in deal. We had to call them. They said they would call back after WE CALLD THEM and after a brief discussion on project we wanted them to work on. They never called back. Gave up, and received refund from Angies List.

The Angie's List Big Deal offer indicated that the provider would contact us within 2 days of purchase by email. We waited for 3 weeks, thinking that they must be very busy with other customers who also purchased the big deal. When we emailed on October 28, they indicated that they had no contact information for us. So I sent my phone number and received a phone call the next day from the provider. I realized that he needed to talk to my husband, so my husband called the provider the next day (October 30). He left a voice mail message, and we waited. By November 4, we still had not heard back, so we sent another email and also contacted Angie's List for help. The provider called us and said he could come out on November 6. I came home from work early to be there when he arrived, but he never showed. He sent us an email at 9:17 pm and asked if he could reschedule the appointment to Wednesday. I told him that he could come on Wednesday after 6:00. He never showed up and never attempted to contact us again.

Randy's service is very knowledgable and he explains everything very thoroughly before performing the service.. He even went to Lowe's and sent me a video of the type of sealant I would be needing! A+ service!

In a nutshell, poorly. It appears that there was confusion between this vendor and Angie's List as to the terms of the agreement. I purchased this as one of the Big Deal promotions and the terms of that agreement were that the provider would contact me within 2 days to schedule the services. After several weeks without a response, I made contact with the provider to arrange for service. About 2 hours before the scheduled time for service I received a call from the provider that the last job ran long and they would need to reschedule if possible. I agreed and we made arrangements for a new date and time. The second appointment came and went without the provider arriving or calling to inform me that there had been any delay or complication. The service and responsiveness from this provider has been poor. At this point I just want a refund as the work has not been performed. One further point of contention was over a destination charge for the services. The Big Deal promotion did not have any mention of this stipulation of geographic limitations. When I spoke with the provider to arrange the service I was informed that there would be an additional destination charge to perform work in Avon, IN. It appears that the provider should have been more upfront about this in the original sale.

It took awhile to get a response to get them to come out to perform services. The team of two people worked very hard while they were here and were polite, but not very friendly. The caulk work was better than the grout work. Overall, it was fair for the price.

The tile cleaning was very good. He worked quickly and professionally.

The guy never called. Finally I called him, we se up an appointment, he took a look at things. He was supposed to come Monday and Monday he did not show up, but he called and explained that he had some people call in sick. We rescheduled for the next day. He said he would be there between 8:30 and 9:30. By 10:30 he was still not there. I called both phone numbers and got no answer. I called him again this morning and he is not returning my calls. I had to take everything out of the bathroom, we're not using it. I just want somebody that is going to show up on time. I decided to get a refund on the deal.

Only took about 4 hours to complete but did a good job.
