About us
Justin Capehart followed his passion from high school at Heritage Christian through IUPUI in Business while working for Allisonville Nursery in Fishers, Indiana. For eight years Justin worked in the garden center learning the business. He was promoted to residential foreman for the nursery, meeting with clients on landscape designs and managing the crew during installation. Justin then acted as foreman of commercial landscape installations until he left to begin his own business in 2005. Justin continues to maintain a relationship with Allisonville Nursery and is involved in residential and commercial projects for them from time to time. Justin attributes the success of Capehart Landscape and Design to the personalized service he gives every client. 14 employees. Owner on all jobs. They transplanted vinca from our front plant beds to the backyard new pathway to accent the flag stone pathway with a softer, natural feel. They created a "natural" retaining wall behind my pool as their solution to help with land erosion on our berm. The completely renovated our paver patio and walkway. It used to lean...it no longer does. They transplanted many of our plants to better survive and create an overall better flow to the space. They did so many more small things I never asked for and did not charge me extra to do so. We could not be happier. Strongly, strongly encourage you consider their team of experts!
We are also having work done our outside trim, and the contractors from that job recognized the transformation and were quite impressed. Our most recent guest said...."Wow you have created your own private oasis." We love it! Thanks Justin and team!

Capehart was great to work with! They came out to see the property and discuss what we wanted and then emailed us a quote that included a sketch and paver style samples. We had a lot of questions about paver and seating wall options as well as the maintenance of the patio and they were great about answering them and making sure we would be happy with the finished patio.
They kept us up to date on scheduling and were very organized. The crew worked for about a week and a half and they were very nice and cleaned up every day. Justin came out several times during the installation. He noticed a small variation in paver color and made sure that the off-colored pavers were replaced, which was over and above what I expected. He also made sure the grass seed grew in where they had disturbed the lawn during installation. It is now the next spring and the lawn and patio both look great!
I feel really good that the quality of work and materials that were used and have been recommending them to family and friends.

Elaine came out and we discussed what I was wanting to do with my landscaping. Within a few days she sent me a computerized drawing of what she would recommend along with links to all of the plant options that she was suggesting. It was very helpful to be able to look online and see a description of each of the plants. After getting a few other quotes, I decided that Capehart was the best option for me. I waited quite awhile to make my decision and thought it would probably end up being late summer before they could work me into their schedule. Surprisingly, they were able to work me in much sooner and called on a Monday that they would be out the next day. They came as scheduled. Elaine was onsite to make sure that things went smoothly. They worked very quickly and had the job completed by early afternoon. It looks great! I am so pleased with their service! They did forget to edge and mulch around a few trees. I emailed Elaine later that day once I realized the error. They were back very early the next day to make sure it was completed. I would highly recommend Capehart and will use them again in the future for my landscaping needs.

This company really gets customer-service, in addition to excellent landscaping design and service. Their costs are very reasonable. They work quickly and efficiently, and returned everything on site to its original condition. Accidentally, one of my sprayer nozzles broke off, and Justin even come over on a holiday to replace it. I would give Justin Capehart and his company an A+ and a strong recommmendation.
