Justin is simply too busy. His guys did spread mulch well yet had it pushed all the way up against our wood siding ( which we discovered after they left so we had to touch up about 30 ft to pullit away from the house) . Felt like his guys should already know that isnt healthy for the wood siding. Have been waiting for 5 weeks now for estimate on other landscaping areas with promises but no show of a quote.

Justin and his crew were great. Cleaned up big fall and winter mess. Justin followed up to see if we were satisfied. Crew was polite and neat and tidy. Not cheap but worth every penny.

The owner who was there to give me the estimate was friendly enough, but wouldn't stop talking long enough to hear what it was that I wanted. He offered only one type of paver on his estimate, a low cost common paver, although the estimate was very, very high. The paver he included in his estimate was the exact opposite of what I was looking for, but he didn't know that because he never listened or offered anything else to me. He didn't seem very interested in from beginning to end, so I hired Jason Watson of Kenneth Watson Design instead.

Justin was very easy to work with, walked us through the entire process, didn't try to oversell. He responded to phone calls and emails and making himself available to answer any questions as they came up. The crew working with him was very conscientious, keeping the worksite and driveway picked up at the end of each day. The job took approximately two weeks to complete. Justin helped us in the design process, making recommendations as to what would work and what could be done in later stages. The finished product is beautiful. The surrounding area is in better condition than when he started! Justin knows what he is doing and was on the site daily checking to make sure the work done was to a high standard. I have no doubts about the quality of his work. I would recommend Capehart Landscaping to my neighbors and have done so. We will definitely call him back for future jobs. Shout out to the Stone Center for their help in paver selection and Broad Ripple Tree, for the removal of a BIG River Birch to make room for the patio!

Justin and his crew arrived on time and got to work. They were very professional. I added some work by deciding after the job started, I wanted new pavers instead of reusing the old ones.

Justin and his crew did a fantastic job. He is very customer service focused and a perfectionist. I witnessed him instruct his crew three different times to adjust a tree an inch at a time to ensure it was exactly symmetrical with the rest of the plants. He also came out a few weeks after they planted to check on how the plants were doing and replaced several plants that were struggling, without me requesting him to do so. This was the second project (two different houses) we used Justin for and we will continue to recommend him to friends and family.

Justin was on time. His crew work were hard even in the heat od 90f degrees.

I had an existing walkway that was installed by a reputable company approx. 6 yrs. Over time some of the pavers were discolored and in some areas pavers were sinking in within the 1st year, as well as growing grass between the pavers. I had the company come out a couple of times to fix the areas sinking in but it was obviously only a temporary fix. In time I became extremely frustrated about the money I had already spent for the poor workmanship and I finally made the decision to have it repaired properly. With that I also decided to have a patio with a wood burning fire pit installed off of the back deck. I had set up a couple of appointments to have other companies come out to quote the job. I really liked the color and type of pavers that I had chosen on the existing walkway so around the same time as having companies come out to quote the job, I went to The Stone Center to see if they were still available. In conversation with the sales rep at The Stone Center with regards and extreme frustration on my existing walkway is where I learned that there is a certified installation program that only a few companies in Indianapolis hold the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) for certified installers. Which I quickly learned that it does make a difference and means a great deal to find a company with ICPI training. I was thrilled to see that Capehart Landscape and Design was on their list of ICPI installers. I was familiar with Justin's company and his work from a few years prior when he did some landscape clean up at my home. I immediately called him to come out for a quote. Justin took time to look at the project and thoroughly discussed the proper installation process and what it means to be ICPI trained. He got back to me within a couple of days with the quote and I scheduled the installation. Justin would arrive with his team to get them started and they worked diligently for about a week on the project. If I had questions or concerns, I just picked up the phone and called Justin as he stopped by during the day to check on the progress and always kept me updated to the progress. I was always comforted to know Justin was always working in the best interest of me - "The Customer". Once the project was near completion, Justin came back on a Saturday afternoon to tie up a few unfinished things and we walked around and looked at the final project together and answered any final questions that I had. It is very clear to me now to know the difference and importance of having someone who really knows how to do the proper steps on installing pavers. As I mentioned, I had other companies come out and quote my project and I discussed the ICPI certification with them. It found it irritating that they claimed it wasn't necessary to have this certification either because they went to school for architectural landscape or that they had been installing for years blah blah blah..I was disgusted that they didn't find the importance of having the proper training to do these jobs. .Well let me tell you, they are sadly mistaken because I paid a long time reputable company do the installation the 1st time and now I had to pay for a 2nd install. I learned a lesson on that one! It pays to do your homework. I only wished I would have the 1st time around. I watched Justin's team do the proper steps on the install which I witnessed was NOT done originally. I am EXTREMELY satisfied that I chose Capehart Landscape and Design to do the work and I would highly recommend hiring him on any hardscape project(s) and landscaping.

Capehart sets his own schedule, works independently. Arrived to work promptly, cleaned up, work was excellent. Work looks great. No problems. Mr. Capehart is responsive and willing to discuss ideas and issues.

Justin promptly return my request for a bid and kept the appointment time set. He sent me a detailed drawing and description of landscape design with a formal, written bid. Soon after I deposited 1/2 of bid price he called to set a date for completion of project.
