 + 1 moreWe contacted several landscape companies for quotes to remove a self installed large paver patio and outdoor kitchen surrounded by concrete blocks. We selected Justin owner of Capehart Landscape Design. He is very knowledgeable, professional, experienced and just so happen was completing a similar job at our neighbor's home. Therefore, we could observe the progress, work ethic and the quality of his work, prior to signing a contract with Justin. The finished product was excellent. We selected the Belgard Holland pavers and worked with Justin to design the patio as well as the color of rocks/boulders to enlarge and convert the existing pond to a water fall. Justin and his crew are true professionals they removed the old patio pavers quickly and efficiently with minimum damage to the lawn and plants. They installed the new patio within a week, relocated and replanted plants that were removed to make space for the patio. The existing pond was elevated to create a true waterfall feature. Rocks, boulders, top soil and a new pump were added. Justin is great to work with and has returned promptly to respond to questions and/or fix minor problems.
Description of Work: Removed and disposal of existing concrete patio pavers and retaining walls. Installed new Belgard Holland stone paver patio and enlarged existing waterfall pond.

He personally go his crew started on the work and came back periodically. Justin is great to work with and likes to make sure the job gets done.

 + 1 moreWe have used Capehart Landscape and Design for several years for small to large jobs on our residential lot. Justin and his crew are always professional and responsive to our needs and their approach to any work that is done. Most recently we needed grading, reseeding and shrub replacement done and wished to have everything done prior to our daughter's wedding. Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, some of the shrubs we wanted could not immediately be found. Justin came and planted the rosebushes in our front yard the night before the wedding knowing that we were expecting lots of company and activity. He has always gone above and beyond with his customer service!!
Description of Work: Graded and reseeded section of lawn from sewer line repair. Planted shrubs and rosebushes to replace dying/dead shrubs.

Description of Work: I contacted the number on Angie's List for this provider. The owner answered, although he did not identify himself. It sounded like I was calling a personal cell phone and I had to ask if I was calling the right number. He asked me to call back and leave a message so he could forward to his designer who was already busy that afternoon with another customer. The owner said the designer would call me back the next day, which would have been a Saturday or possibly the day after that. I confirmed that I did not hear that incorrectly since that seemed weird to me to call on a Saturday. I called back a few minutes later and left a voice mail as requested. I did not get a return phone call until several days into the following week, if I am remembering correctly. (I remember being distinctly annoyed that it was so many days after my original attempt.) The individual left a quick voice mail message that I had to listen to several times just to try to figure out the phone number since he was talking so fast. I wasn't able to call right back but did call him back a few days later (after guessing one of the numbers since it was unclear on my voice mail). I left him a voice mail message asking for a return call so we could schedule a meeting but I never heard back from anyone. I opted not to try again since I wasn't interested in working with a company that couldn't follow-thru properly the first time.

Description of Work: Removed deck and shrub, built paver patio with steps from house. Retention walk built along two sides of the garage. Area around patio and wall were mulched and lanscaped. The rest of yard was mulched.

AND from my homeowners association regarding his daily clean up in order to not disrupt the neighborhood. I had one plant dying and Justin replaced it before I called. I woke up next day and *poof* I had a new plant. I'm thinking I'll want landscape lighting and I will only call Capehart Landscaping!

I was introduced to the job supervisor, Kevin who was overlooking work and making sure the objective was met. They unloaded their equipment and began to work immediately. I like efficiency. They knew exactly what their specific job was for my yard and went over that plan w/ me. They were polite, efficient, detailed, and My landscaping looked awesome for my sons graduation party that weekend! I received several compliments about how good my yard looks from party guests. I loved the edging that was done because it makes the flowers beds/tree beds look much neater and FABULOUS !!!! Then, after the weekend was over I received a friendly phone call to make sure I was pleased and I am for sure. Thanks to Justin, Barb, Kevin and the staff I have the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood. Even better that my favorite neighbor/best looking yard competitor that was a landscaper himself while in college. He has a beautiful yard too, but not better than mine !!!! His guys did spread mulch well yet had it pushed all the way up against our wood siding ( which we discovered after they left so we had to touch up about 30 ft to pullit away from the house) . Felt like his guys should already know that isnt healthy for the wood siding. Have been waiting for 5 weeks now for estimate on other landscaping areas with promises but no show of a quote.

He dug up the old concrete patio and took it out, it was gone within a half hour. He cleaned up very well. He put plywood down on the grass so that he wouldn't damage it.
