We called someone we had used in the past and he said that it would cost $300 for him to come to our house to fix the pipe. He also told us he would not guarantee the work. We then remembered we had recently joined Angie's List and looked up plumbers on Angie's List. We called several that there recommended by Angie's List, but Village Plumbing was the first to arrive the morning of 12/24/08. They gave us an estimate of the repair (it was right on) and told us what we could do to avoid this from happening again. The repair was made promptly and we feel it was a fair price. We were very happy with the work they did and we would use them again.

One of our electronic air cleaners was "clicking" nonstop (the filter will click when it comes into contact with dust). The service technician, Matt, came in, found the problem, and quickly remedied the problem. I have a service contract with them, and because this call was made within the time period allowed after the contract cleaning, there was no charge. Also I made the call this afternoon, and they were here within the hour.

The company sent someone out right away to do the job. We felt the price was a little bit high on this type of service. The first worker was not very professional, we complained and they sent us someone else right away. They were very responsive in that case.

You can tell that Larry absolutely loves what he does. His 2-man crew was great... put down canvas to protect the carpeting, etc. You could tell they liked their work, also....when they fired up the furnace the first time, they were both super excited!

While he was there he also did another simple repair for me. They did a wonderful job and knew what they were doing. I did think I paid a little much for the work as it took them less than a day to complete the work but everything is working now with no leaks. I was very confident in the work they did and will have them back for more work when needed.

A guest flushed baby wipes down the toilet and we could not clear it with a plunger. At 3:30pm I called Village Plumber specifically because they were on Angie's list, had an A rating and did not subcontract. The intake person was efficient, polite and timely. They promised I would be worked in the same day as my call. I received a call from the plumber about 40 minutes before he arrived at 6:30 and within 30 minutes he had completed the job and was gone. He was friendly, professional, neat, left absolutely no telltale signs that a workman had been in the house. He also spent time to explain his equipment and approach.

Their service seemed fine but their price seemed a little high to me. I liked their punctuality & their professionalism & would give them an A grade overall.

It was a pretty good experience. They were prompt in delivery and installed the furnace promptly. The installers were professional and courteous.

I have a contract with them and they come out twice a year and service my furnace and A/C to make sure everything is fine. They're usually on time when they come out.

It continued to run occasionally, but they responded promptly and fixed it. I thought the cost seemed a little high for the amount of time they were there, but I may be out of touch on the costs of this service.

They were prompt and they did the work to my satisfaction. They were courteous and stayed to make sure everything was working the way it should before they left.

I trust them to do quality work, they're always on time, and careful with their work.

My units are running smoothly thanks to their service.

It took a while to get it fixed, but the men were very patient as it became later in the afternoon. I was very happy to finally have access to water use, etc. They cleaned up afterwards and were pleasant through the whole process even though it took longer than they (and I) had anticipated.

Knowing that I needed a replacement water heater, I went to Angie's List and reviewed about 6 plumbers in my area. Spoke with 3 or 4 on the phone and went with Village Plumbing based on the type of water heater they offered, (a Bradford White which I thought was a cut above the others) and the straight forward approach of the person I made the arrangements with on the phone. (The Bradford White was a little more expensive than the types offered by other companies and that's why the "B" rating on price.) I got exactly what I thought I would and was happy with the results. The plumber arrived when he said he would and obviously knew what he was doing. In putting the bill together he did not try to charge me any extra fees for moving the the clothes dryer out of the way, for adding an extra valve to the system, etc. There was no charge for the service trip and he readily deducted $50 for the coupon I found on their web site. As a result, the bill turned out to be exactly the figure the person had quoted over the phone. I will use them the again the next time I need a plumber.

The repairman showed up on time and was very professional. He explained that the problem was that the filter needed to be changed and showed me how to do this regularly. He also suggested an inexpensive place to buy them. I was so impressed I purchased the yearly maintenance contract.

We approved installation and he completed it w/in the hour.

The plumber was punctual in arriving. I also received a phone call that he would be coming in about 30 minutes. This makes it convenient so I don't have to plan my entire day around the service call. He very quickly found the drain problem and, just as importantly to me, showed me how I could get to the drain myself and remove any gunk that had gotten stuck in it. Since bringing in a plumber doesn't tend to be cheap, I appreciate the fact that he was willing to show me how to fix the problem myself in the future. The second thing he did was to remove and replace the shower head with the shower head I'd purchased. It gave me some satisfaction to see that he didn't have any better luck removing the shower head than I did. He then simply replaced the shower arm that attached to the shower head. I'm sure I got charged more for the shower arm than if I'd gone to Home Depot to buy it, but I didn't know the shower arm was removable. In conclusion, I was happy with the quality of the work performed. Maybe I would've gotten a better price elsewhere, but I'd been happy with Broad Ripple Heating in the past and Village Plumbing is their plumbing arm.

We have been satisfied with them. We have never had any problems with them. They are always here within their time frame.

I had several estimates. This company give me a better bid. He sat down with me and explained all of the pros and cons of each unit. He was very professional. This all happened before a holiday and they accommodated me into their busy schedule. I am very grateful on how they helped me out on such short notice.

I was very pleased with them. They came prepared for the thermostat and furnace maintenance. He also looked at my humidifier and it needed a new pad. He didn't have it with him, it had to be ordered and they would have someone bring it out when it came in. It turned out it wasn't the right pad. He had to go back to the office to get the right one. He did apologize about the confusion.

They are prompt and professional and clean up after themselves. Knowledgeable about their jobs. They are courteous and polite. I would recommend them to anyone.

I called them on Sunday and talked to a person. They came on Monday morning as scheduled. They fixed the problem and I was not charged for the visit.

I think that the prices are reasonable. They offer online coupons in the holiday season for service. I liked the good comments on Angie's List and the good reputation that they have with my friends. They take the time to do a thorough job, but they do not waste time. They give me good advice and saved me money. I appreciate their honesty and sharing of their information. They are flexible in their scheduling and polite. I feel that I have gotten to know William and feel that I can tell him anything and he will act on it. They make sure their customers are happy. He remembers me, too.

I love having them out because they allow me to request the same man each time. He is familiar with the furnace. He friendly and offers us different things that would be helpful to us and our family. He is informative about new items that come out on the market.
