Lucky for me, there was a year warranty because the pipes leaked twice. I had a blockage, and the plumber said that the pipes were not designed to hold water, only have water run through them. I was displeased with their prices, the quality of workmanship, and the fact that I had to call them back twice. I will not be using them again.

The person in the office that scheduled me was very nice and helpful and I got an appointment within a day, which was great because it was not an emergency. My basement had backed up in the past, but Lance from Village Plumbing was the first plumber who looked past the main drain line to see the additional drain that was the problem. He could easily have also cleaned the main line and charged us for it because when we described the problem, we assumed it needed cleaning. He thoroughly explained to us why it didn't need cleaning and what will happen differently with our drains, toilets, etc. when it does need cleaning. He cleaned the other drain, gave us some suggestions on how to prevent the clog in the future, and cleaned up thoroughly. It was a great experience.

We had a couple of toilets that were flushing slowly on occasion and a shower that was draining slowly. We thought that we would probably need the drains to be routed, perhaps to the street. As stated above, he plunged the shower and another drain. He also visually checked the outflow in the sewer from several different clean outs and said it looked ok.

I have always been happy with the service. The only thing I dislike is that it's hard to get the same technician time after time. The ones they send are usually very adequate to the task.

They are very efficient. Their service people are very polite and cooperative.

Everything has gone very well. They do an excellent job, and they are very responsive and accommodating. Their people are always professional and courteous, and they never try to up-sell you. They are very up-front about what needs to be done and what can wait--for example, we had a new roof put on two years ago and called them to put in an attic fan. They had the opportunity to up-sell me, but instead told me that I could use the smaller version, and as a result saved me $800-$1000. They take care of everything we need, and have done a great job.

My furnace went out on Tuesday night. Wednesday morningish, I called a couple places for estimates, including BRH&AC. Don came out right on time. Unfortunately, I'd scheduled appointments too tight and he had to wait 10 minutes or so, which he did without complaint and I really appreciated that. It didn't take Don long to size things up. He wrote up several options for furnace, AC, heat pump on a handy-dandy sheet and let me crunch the numbers myself without any pressure. He made a couple of interesting suggestions I'd not heard before. From his presentation and my friend's recommendation, I got the impression they would do a good job. I didn't feel like he tried to sell me something I didn't need. But - I ended up going with another company instead. The companies were tied on most items - both had good repuations on Angie's List, both seemed top-notch in person, both quoted Lennox equipment (in some cases the exact same model numbers). The deciding factors: 1) BRH&AC looked to be significantly more expensive and 2) I had a relationship with the other company and I was glad to give them the business. That said, Don's quote/price sheet was a little weird. It started with a "Buy this AC, get that furnace free!" then further options added to the cost. Looking at it now, it seems pretty tangled. I think I understood it at the time but, if not, it probably made the price disparity look worse than it was.

I was very impressed with their service. The toilet stopped working Friday night (of course, after it had been used!). After searching around, I gave them a call expecting to leave a voice message for the next day. To my surprise, I was connected through at 10pm to a live person in a call center that processed the request for service and set me up for an appointment the next morning at 10am (on Saturday). They were on time, assessed the problem and fixed it within 30 minutes. I was able to pay by credit card on the spot, so overall I was thrilled with the service (and the Angie's List discount!).

It went very well. They were very good and professional. We were satisfied with the results.

Overall, it was a great experience. The service tech was very honest and a wealth of helpful information and tips. He told me the age of the furnace, gave me an estimate on the remaining life and a ballpark on cost to replace. We talked about air duct cleaning and he told me that with the age of the furnace, it would probably be best to save my money for when the furnace goes out. Despite the warning, he said this 18 year old beast was running extremely well with little cause for concern.

On two occasions (the second of the service calls for this event and once before) we had the need for emergent after-hours service. Our after-hours phones call were handled by a third-party, national, non-local call center which would try to route the service request to an on-call technician. On each occasion, it was clear that the call center did not operate well because in each case I was told a technician would call back, but in each case when I got no call back after over an hour and called the call center again to get a status report it was as if they never heard of my original request and overall sounded confused and disorganized. Ultimately a technician called back on the first occasion after I contacted the call center several times, but the second time about a month later we never got a call back and this was for emergency service! Unfortunately, although I've been pleased with the actual service I've received, I'm sorry to say that I really can't continue to use the company because I don't feel that they offer realiable after hours service secondary to the call center issue and I consider after-hours service important for heating and cooling.

We noticed a small puddle of water near our water heater one Sunday and called them to see if it was an emergency. The person responding to the call was very polite and helpful and reassured us it was not an emergency. They promptly scheduled a service call for the following Monday. The service technician was very polite, explained everything clearly and installed a new water heater. He did not leave any mess when he was finished and he answered all of our questions.

Matt wore shoe covers, listened to me carefully and fixed it quickly and professionally.

I have had to have two repairs on a Delta faucet in 10 years; each involved a defective part that if not ordered from Delta, is not available otherwise thus necessitating buying another faucet. John's willingness to pursue it as a warranty claim saved me the parts cost

They are wonderful. They always show up when I expect them to. Their inspections are very thorough for annual maintenance. The technicians are all very knowledgeable. I had a problem with my furnace and I had called two other companies to come out and Broad Ripple was the only one to successfully diagnosis the problem.

I didn't use them, but their services seemed fine.

We have been using Village Plumbing for several years. The plumber Steve K came out the same day that I called on his day off and worked for about 6 hours repairing multi pipes that broke due to the cold weather.

We contacted the company and set up an appointment right away. He was arrived early for the appointment. He was polite and got right down to business. Once he figured out the problem, he explained it to me and that we needed to have the pipes cleaned at least once a year because there were roots growing into them. Our only complaint was they did not use the contact number we asked them to use for that day. They called my husband's cell while he was at work, but we were able to get in touch with him.

We have been quite pleased with them. They have been on time, and the service technicians they have sent have been very good in terms of diagnosing and assessing what needs to be done. They do not recommend unnecessary work, and they have done a good job.

I have no complaints. They come out twice a year, and my furnace and air conditioner have not given me any problems.

We were SO pleased that the repairman came so quickly, and got the job done. We had played through the scenarios of needing to buy a whole new furnace! It seemed to be a fairly inexpensive repair.

It was satisfactory thus far. They arrived on time and were professional.

I thought it went really well. He figured out exactly what my issue was and took care of it very quickly. He was professional and courteous. I had no complaints at all.

Our heater started blowing cold air on Christmas Eve. We called the day after Christmas and they worked us right into that day's schedule. The repair person was very professional, and even put protective coverings over his shoes before he came into the house without me even asking him to. He also went downtown to track down the part we needed to get our heater up and running after he realized there wasn't one on his truck. He came back with the part quickly and installed it within minutes. The price was a bit high in my opinion, but his service and professionalism was worth a little extra money to me.

They did a very good job as well. Their pricing is fair.
