I was pleased that Village Plumbing had received such good ratings --I thought their experience with the old houses in the area would be helpful for my 85-year old house, and their good rating on Angie's List gave me confidence to call them. Originally Village Plumbing said they could send someone out between 12-2pm; at 8:45am, they called and said that someone could come right over. Steve arrived at 9:00am, identified and solved the problem efficiently, and answered all our questions. I would use Village Plumbing again.

They came out to service my a/c and Ii decided to purchase a 1 year service contract. The contract was suppose to start 6/2/06, and I went ahead and scheduled a freon check. They never showed up for the freon check, I stayed home all day, but they never showed. So I called them to cancel my service, which is backed with a "no risk, money back guarantee"! They would not let me talk to the right person on my first call, they have told me they would call me back several times and have failed to do so. I want my money back for the service contact because I do not want to do business with this company anymore.

Punctual, friendly, gave me options for the work I needed done.

The company responded quickly in scheduling a technician to come out. The service representative quickly diagnosed and corrected the problem without trying to sell us a new unit. We will use them again.

Two other companies said I needed a whole new air conditioning unit. They said it didn't need a whole new furnace, it just needed a coil. They came, put the coil in, had it done in less than two hours. The men were all friendly and very congenial.

The technician was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and wore coverings over his shoes when entering our house. He accepted my coupon for being a member of Angie's list. The service was excellent and I would recommend and use them for future plumbing services.

They were timely and did a good job.

The plumber was prompt and polite. I feel that the price was out of line. I had another quote from another company on Angie's list which was over 150 less expensive. I went with Village because they could do the job one day earlier. The price was to be 264, but he had to charge 100 extra to install the cabinet. He did nothing to install cabinet or attach the sink to the cabinet. I did not want him to drill into wall tile, but made the wrong assumption that he would at least attach the sink to the base. He did not. It rocks back and forth. We are going to have someone else come to dis-install and apply adhesive. I would not use this company again.

They did a beautiful job. The price was reasonable for what they had to fix. The price included the new parts too.

What I got was a partial air conditioning tune up. They guy came and did what he called a tune up, and then when he was through he went into his truck and did paperwork and asked me to sign, which I did. He gave me a HVAC Industry's most compressive precision tune up, gives a list of what they were supposed to have done in the tune up. I went through the list and he didn't do everything on the list. For what they charge, he could have at least done them all. One thing that he did not do was calibrate my thermostat. I've been having problems with that ever since he left. I called them and asked them about it and all I get is "What do you want us to do about it?" I will never use them again. I did have a $25 dollar off coupon, but he kept trying to sell me a part (a contractor) that would cost $116 by telling me mine was smoking, but there was no smoke, so why should I replace it? In terms of refrigerant- he told me that mine needed it, but did not put it in in the end.

Chose Broad Ripple HVAC, based on Angie's List rating and was not disappointed; technician was on time, friendly, knowledgeable and answered all my questions; he thoroughly explained the condition of my systems and options; he mentioned the annual service maintenance option, but did not push it at all; I ended up going with it, used my Angie's List coupon and got a great overall deal; highly recommended!

The technician was on time and seemed knowledgeable. He spent an hour investigating the system and determined the igniter was bad. He offered to replace it but pointed out that the water heater was 14 years old. He presented an option to replace water heater or fix the part, and we went with a new water heater, and he installed it that day. I felt the price was a little high, but I was happy with the overall experience and ability to install it right away.

Excellent service was given by Bill Kirkland, the service technician. Very nice to work with, answered our questions and performed a thorough inspection of the A/C Unit.

They were punctual and always courteous. Our A/C seems to be working better than ever.

Jed was on time. Very polite and knowledgeable. Jed replaced the least expensive part first hoping that that would fix the problem. He immediately returned when it was determined that we needed a blower replaced as well. He did a great job and we would use Broad Ripple Heating & Air Conditioning again.

I believed I understood what the Spring cleaning included, but there was a small misunderstanding. When the tech arrived he told me what was actually included in the normal spring cleaning, BUT he honored what I understood had been promised and actually addressed the underlying issue with the AC unit not draining properly as well. He also mentioned the AC unit ''might'' need a little Freon, but the readings weren't conclusive. Rather than just add it and ''see'', we should review after the unit thawed. He offered to return for any concerns or issues. In the end, I was impressed by his approach and professionalism enough to just sign-up for the annual service so we will see them again in the winter and next Spring. They have great reviews, and now I understand why. Thanks guys.

Overall the experience was very positive. I believe the salesman was honest. He came and calculated a load on the house and added one cold air return in the basement. 7 days later the a/c wasn't working and I called for service. The first serviceman out couldn't find the problem. The second service man out stated it was a problem with the variable switch module. Essentially the blower wasn't working from the furnace. He repaired that and left a bill for $68. I called to question it and was told it was a problem not related to the new unit, and that eventually that variable switch module may need to be replaced if it failed. The part alone for the module would be $512. The furnace is a high efficiency furnace that is only 5 years old on Jun 11th. It is so aggravating to pay so much money for major appliances and have them fail or need expensive repairs at the 5 year mark. It is a Bryant furnace, not the most expensive but not the least expensive either.

Arrived on time. Performed the work needed. Friendly, personable.

Service technician Scott Bell arrived when they said he would. He went right to work and finished in a short period of time. We checked and the unit is performing wonderfully. Scott cleaned up all trash and hauled everything removed away.

They were very timely in fixing a mistake. They come out every year and do our servicing. I have been very happy with them. The price is for servicing two units twice a year.

Past experiences tells us that BRHAC does nice work, but that they aren't a bargain provider. The quote we received confirmed this, and for a simple project like this one, we went with a lower cost provider. We will continue to seek bids from BRHAC in the future, though, because we trust and rely on them for honest, quality service.

I would highly recommend Broad Ripple Heating & Air Conditioning. I'm a first time home owner with no clue about HVAC. It would have been easy for them to just send someone out on the first phone call. Appreciate that they made suggestions to possibly avoid a service call. Technicians that came to the house explained how AC systems work, and gave some suggestions to help improve my cooling demands on the unit. I will definitely call them for a service agreement and use them for future system replacement. Tim the technician explained things in a simple yet clear manner.
