Came out within 6 hours of my call. Billed me hourly rate instead of flat rate, which saved on cost. Repaired leak and added some improvements over the original work.

They did an excellent job. They were on time. They cleaned up after themselves, I would highly recommend them.

Wow! My first experience using the List to find a company. MARK was very, very good. My wife was thrilled that he put on ''footies'' and did not dirty up the house with the dirt from the last customer! MARK not only fixed our problems flawlessly, but he educated us as well (gave us some of his ''secrets'' to keep our drains maintained. Excellent experience.

I had a great experience with Village Plumbing and will use them for all future plumbing work in my house. I have a very old house (90+ yrs), so when I discovered a leaky pipe in my basement, I was a bit nervous. Andy came out for the repairs and explained the situation and then provided me with his plan to make the repairs. He gave me both the best and worse case scenarios as far as time and cost, since he wasn't sure of the extent of the damage. I appreciated his honesty in this matter, so that I wasn't surprised with additional charges later. Andy was able to make the repairs under the best case scenario. Andy also took extra time to look over the rest of my plumbing and point out some trouble areas that may need future repairs. He also provided me with an estimate for adding a laundry tub in the basement. Village Plumbing may be slightly higher priced that some others, but it was well worth it for the piece of mind that the job would be done right the first time.

I had a floor drain that had overflowed, so I called them because they had installed my water heater awhile back and I liked their work. They responded quickly by sending a gentleman named Mark. He determined there was a clog from the kitchen sink area and ran the ''snake'' through to clean it out. When finished, I asked him to look at my bathtub drain, which he quickly cleaned out for no extra charge. He even showed me how to make a tool to clean the tub drain myself. I will definitely use them again when needed.

Andy was a little late arriving, but called ahead and apologized. He told my wife when he would be at the house and told her if she was late he would wait. Andy was very pleasant and professional; he took great care to not make a mess and he made suggestions that were very helpful. Overall this was a very pleasant experience.

Job was done as always in a professional manner. Had a few problems that were addressed promptly. Will definitely use again.

They were very prompt in scheduling the repair and the repairman was respectful of our property. The job was done throughly and we were pleased with the promptness of service and quality of the workmanship. He even secured the pipe to the floor joists in the crawl space to prevent it from moving with the pressure of the water flow. Even better, we used an Angie's List coupon to help reduce the bottom line!

Scheduling a visit was prompt. Repairman was efficient and pleasant. He called the manufacturer to get a replacement part at no cost to us, but to replace the part will cost another visit.

I asked for an experienced technician because I've been frustrated by the feeling that I've been getting the run-around by inexperienced techs. That is, having things repaired that I began to suspect might not have really been the problem. Shotgun repair. However, I was very happy with this experience. The horrid air conditioner noise (outdoors) was due to a clog from debris from our recent reroofing. The blower noise (indoors) was caused by a piece UNDER WARRANTY needing replaced plus a $200 fan part. Warranty. There's a first. In three years, they've replaced $2000 of parts just out of warranty in my furnace. I finally feel like my money's well spent.

It was a whole new unit and they did all the plumbing. They were easy to deal with and pleasant. The clean up was great.

They would have sent a repairman on Friday night for an additional $10 but he would not have been able to replace the unit if that was the problem. We opted for the Saturday morning time frame. He got there a little later than the time frame they had quoted, but he called earlier to let us know. He was professional, courteous, and fixed the problem.

They did a good job. They were very professional.

The service representative was on-time, very knowledgable and helpful. The installation the following day took longer than anticipated. I would consider Service Experts again for other projects.

We have used them for years and they are always on time. When our A/C went out they went out of their way to rectify the situation. I would recommend them.

I have very mixed feelings about them, although I continue to use them. Mostly, it's a price issue.

I was pleased with the finished product, but somewhat startled at the price, especially considering the plumber (John?) had to jerry-rig both the toilet and the sink to make them work properly. I believe the sink faucet needed to be somehow secured in back so that he wouldn't have to take the entire cast iron sink out and reset it. That one I can understand; it's an extra basement sink and the repair was only $100. The toilet had a rusty bolt; he removed the stool and saw that it had been installed improperly. Then instead of trimming an area that jutted out and made the stool rock, the plumber opted to shim. I know I'm naive, but I'd think for $221 you'd be able to actually reset a toilet square. Anyway, in order to stay within my budget, I cut out two of the plumbing projects I'd hoped to have done. Too bad.

They were on-time, courteous and clean.

We were called first thing in the morning telling us there would be someone out around lunch time. Around 10:30am we were called back and told that they would have to reschedule at the end of the day. We told them nevermind and contacted another company who would be there within the hour. Village Plumbing called back and said there man was on the way. Called other company back and cancelled. Once technician arrived we were told they could run 75ft of line for $272. After running 75ft I was told they would have to come back the following week. They insinuated the other machine was not available and they had other customers to get to. I called the office and they delivered the other machine within 10 minutes. The other machine was delivered 15 blocks for an extra charge of $90. After 3 1/4 hours, $512.50, and having to come home from work because of the issues my drain was cleared out. That averages out to over $157.00/hr and a bunch of headaches.

JD was polite and efficient. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. His servicing of the AC was complete, and I swear the AC is quieter today! I would use BR H&A/C again.

The experience was positive. I have used this company for many years.
