George was the workman and I explained that we wanted to be sure the furnace was likely to last through the winter season. He cleaned it very thoroughly, did the inspection, and explained what might go wrong if it did break down. I purchased the service contract which is good for the spring AC service and allows me to pay regular rate rather than time and a half if something goes wrong.

The technician, Lance, did a fine job of solving our problem after an hour of trying to find a clean out access. The price was probably on par with what other companies would charge, although I think the industry charges too much. The technician was very professional, and willing to try something he didn't think would work. Luckily it did, which saved me a lot of money. The only complaint I have with Village Plumbing is that I think they should have called to let me know the technician was running behind. I called at the end of the window, and was told the technician was wrapping up his current job. When they finally called to let me know the technician was on the way, it was around 12:30, and I was told between he would be there between 10:00 and 12:00. Other than that, I will probably hire them again for future work.

Their service was terrific. I requested a more experienced technician, and they complied. He thoroughly checked things over and cleaned the system. They also answered any questions I had. I will definitely use this company again.

Great experience with this company, from quick reply to my initial email to them, to the friendliness and responsiveness of the scheduler, to the timely arrival and great work of the installer. Kevin installed the thermostat quickly, tested it thoroughly, and then spent time going through the manual with me to show me how to program it and get the most out of all of its features. I would definitely recommend using them for your heating/cooling needs, and the thermostat they suggested I get is amazing! I'm looking forward to seeing my heating/cooling bills go down.

The plumbing team, two plumbers, arrived on time and worked for several hours to make the change. Prior to starting work they placed protective runners on the path they were to follow through the house, including stairs to the basement. From time to time the representative, Ed Kittle, dropped by to check progress and to clarify the work to be done. After completing the work, the team cleaned and swept the area and removed the protective runners. After the team left, Ed returned to check the work, explain the operation of the new water heater and see if we were satisfied. The results, a new, on demand water heater that should save us money on our gas bill. Less space occupied by the heater. No more tank to leak - hopefully a longer lasting water heater.

We have been using this company for years and have always been satisfied. We currently have a three year service contract and will continue to use them.

I called because they never showed, they said that they had me scheduled for Monday and not Saturday. I was fine with the Monday appointment, but they called me and told me that they were running a little late, from their last appointment. They did show up, over an hour late from the time frame, that they gave me. I had already waited for them from 8-12, which was frustrating. They ended up having to check in the room where my son was taking a nap, so I ended up not letting them do the work.

There is poor communication. I was never able to schedule an appointment with them.

They were fast, prompt, and accurate. They really knew what they were doing! I will definitely continue to use them.

Wonderful company to work with. It was a pleasure to work with both the sales person and the installers. They were courteous, very detailed and honest. They had to return a second day and they worked around our schedule.

Came the same day, and was very helpful and professional.

The job met the intended goal of improving the hot water pressure upstairs. They completed it within one day and cleanup was mostly done well except for some debris that was left in the basement. Their work was careful for the most part, although some of our trim paint was chipped during the process of cutting into the walls. The plumbers were personable and very polite and attentive to the need for me to take care of our babies when they arrived. Village Plumbing also tried to help us negotiate with our home warranty company for the coverage of the job, and helped us to set up a payment plan when the warranty did not cover the work. Overall we were pleased with their work and their service.

They were prompt and professional; cleaned and tuned up the furnace and installed a new filter.

They are always easy to work with, responsive, and pleasant. We have used them for several years and have always been happy. We recommend them to others without reservation.

I really thought because the weather was so hot, it would be days before they could come out and fix our A/C. I assumed they would have a long list of people with A/C problems. This company came out the day I called and fixed the problem right away.

I really appreciate that they haven't been pushy with me. I've been very pleased with their service so far and will continue to work with them.

Have had both services performed with the same associate. He is very knowledge and thorough. Always teaches me something as he works. Professional, polite and worth the cost.

Thorough and cleaned up after unit was installed. Took as much time as I needed to answer my questions and show me how to work the unit. Also gave me suggestions on what amount of moisture to set in on during the different times of the year. They also check it and clean it now when they come out twice a year to service my furnace and air conditioner. Liked the installer, Tim, so much that I now continually ask for him to come out to do my work. He records on the side of my furnace what has been done so that in case of an emergency someone else can see the history of the work! Really like this!!!

I signed up for the "Plus Maintenance Agreement" where they tune-up both the air conditioner and furnace for one price. The agreement comes with "front of the line" service. I did not find my experience with the office staff "front of the line". After scheduling both the air and furnace tune-up appointments three weeks in advance, the service techs arrived 6 hours late each time. They do give a time and say "any time after". I do not, however, define that as 6 hours later. Each time I called to see where I was on the list, I was next or they would make me the next customer (which was still 1-2 hours later), as if there was no list. or as if I had not made an appointment 3 weeks prior. As if I did not have the Plus Maintenance Agreement, which should move me to "head of the line" as they advertise. There was no indication they appreciated my time or my business. Luckily when the techs did arrive, the were all friendly, thorough, accommodating and did a wonderful job.

Steve did a great job clearing the line. He was on time, courteous and took care in keeping the floors clean as he came in and out of the house. He also cleaned the bathroom floor when the work was finished. He also provided a few tips with an unrelated plumbing issue as well. I would definitely recommend Village Plumbing and Steve in particular.

This was the second time that I had Larry out to look at a house that I owned. My system went down on the Friday before July 4th weekend. He was very courteous and on time as promised. He explained the advantages of moving from a Central Air/Gas Furnace system to a Hybrid System (Heat Pump/Gas Furnace). The 20% reduction realized from IPL helps the payback on the equipment. I chose a system from Carrier.

Rubber baffle in garbage disposal was dry and brittle and needed to be replaced. I purchased what Home Depot said was the proper seal/baffle and tried to install myself. Could not get disposal to proper position for sealing without pinching rubber seal and therefore it would not seal. I called Village and they sent a technician to reseat the disposal. Charge was to be so much per hour plus fuel charge. Total was to be less than $100.00. Technician could not get disposal to reseat properly either. Said the seal/baffle could only be gotten from InSinkErator itself and would take 2 - 3 weeks. Result? Buy and have him install a new InSinkErator for about $450. New disposal is supposed to have an extended warranty from manufacturer, but dealer's certification # is required, and that has never been provided to me so I can send in the paperwork for this warranty.

The drain had to be added in a very tight cabinet and the plumbing that was roughed in wasn't in the best position (no fault of Village, another company had roughed the plumbing in). In spite of a very difficult installation situation they did a fine job.

Things went well. We got it installed within a few days. I don't know if I made the right decision though. There may have been something cheaper out there, but I trusted BR Heating because I have used them for years. I tried shopping around, but the world of air conditioners is very confusing. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and responsive, which made the situation easier to go through.
