It was good and he was probably here for about 45minutes to an hour. Mostly up on the roof and inside the house looking inside the fireplace. He is very good, very professional, knowledgeable he seemed to be. He showed me on his ipad pictures that he'd taken up on the roof sort of like watching a video of what he was seeing up there and pointed all that out to me which was good. I liked the guy, he was good.

Excellent work at very reasonable and highly competitive price. Completely satisfied with outcome. C&M also did some other minor repairs at no additional cost.

Kourtney Zahn, owner of the company, is affable and easy to work with. At first the pricing seemed high, but when I comprehended the nature of the repair, it seemed very fair. Working around other jobs and weather constraints, Kourtney was able to set a time for the work to commence. He delivered materials and the scaffolding, and the next afternoon protective tarps were laid down and the scaffolding went up. The next morning, the lath was attached with a nail gun and stucco application began. I believe the job was finished the next day, rough and smooth coats of stucco being applied. The work went very well. The crew was skilled and organized. Clean up was through, equipment, extra supplies, and tools were all removed in a few days, and Kourtney came by to check the work and see if I was satisfied (I was). In fact, I am truly impressed with how well the new stucco meshes at the margins with the original stucco. The house has since been painted, and I wouldn't have thought it could look that good. Plus I'm confident that the repair is very sound.

They were very reasonably priced and easy to work with. They were prompt and gave a very good estimate. I thought the crew did an excellent job.

He was nice, professional, prompt and pleasant. I used the Angie’s List Big Deal offer for the chimney sweep work, and he did a good job. His quote for the masonry work was high, but I do not know what the market range is anyways; it probably is within the market range. I have not acted on the quotes. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future; in fact, I am considering using him.

They did a beautiful job and I was very satisfied. The price was good and very good on responsive. They were also very good on punctuality and professionalism. I will use them in future.

I got the group email after buying the Big Deal. It said they had a lot of response and they would get with me to schedule or I could call. I called after a few weeks and Kourtney scheduled a time to come out and give us an estimate. We agreed to the estimate and set a time frame for doing the job. I was not in a hurry so I was flexible with the scheduling. Workers came and were careful with the materials and completed the job to the point they had to cover it up to set. They returned in two days and uncovered it. They returned in 2-3 weeks to waterproof it and also install the chimney caps. All went well and our chimney is gorgeous. I would hire this company again and would recommend them to friends.

They did a good job, and my interaction with them was favorable. They showed up when they said they were going to. They probably took longer than they had anticipated, but they stuck with it. They wrapped the job up and cleaned up after themselves. Their price was real fair. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

This Big Deal was purchased and used on my elderly mother's house. She is a senior citizen and on a budget and when it is not your money you are spending .. you tend to really shop around and scruntinize who you want to use to do the necessary work. Beisides, she was counting on us to get this done for her. This was my first Big Deal purchase and it could not have gone better. Kourtney was very flexible with my schedule and cognizant that his work needed to be done before another contractor was to come in and do additional roofing work. He was great ! My sister, who helped with the scheduling would tell you the same thing. He manged to get the chimney sweep done and give us our repair quote when he promised .He always returned phone calls and was very polite and professional. His employees were neat and polite as well. The work was completed in a timely manner and we now have the best looking chimney on the block. My mother was totally pleased with the outcome, which make us happy.

He went through and did his check. He told me about some issues that needed fix with the masonry work. He said to get this done the total project would have cost around 2,000. He then looked at my other home and said I said that we did not need do any sweeping but some tucking work needed done. He ended up doing a few minutes of chimney sweeping on the one home and it cost me a couple hundred dollars. I thought this was expensive and I was not very satisfied.

I used a big deal from Angie’s list. They were fine and got the work done when they said they would.

It was good. The work was done on a timely basis and there was nothing out of the ordinary. The work wasn't what I expected, but what he did do he did well.

They quoted me fairly and were fine. They were punctual and very polite. They will be doing the work in sometime and I will continue to use them in future.

I bought C&M $99 big deal and then contacted him about repair. We are not living in the house, so Kourtney went out and looked at the garage without us being there, and emailed me an estimate of $200 for the repair. He did the work when he said he would and it looks good. He invoiced me for the difference between the big deal and his estimate. The whole transaction was conducted by email and telephone, which I think may have delayed his response time a little, but I am happy with the result and with his professsionalism.

They did a great job. The showed up on time and their work has held up so far. The owner, Courtney, was a complete pleasure to deal with. I would use them again without hesitation.

They were excellent! Their price was great, and even thought it took longer than I thought, the work was fantastic. I have already hired him to do another project!

I contacted C&M the morning of 6/6 after purchasing coupon. Got an email on 6/8 saying how busy they were because of Angie's List coupon and would be contacted by end of week. Got email 6/11 saying he would contact me on Monday 6/13. Did not hear anything until I emailed again on 7/8 and received a response from that email on 7/13. The next day he came out to leave an estimate. I thought the estimate was a little high and he detailed the costs (including overhead?) to me. On 8/1, I agreed to have the work done and be put on the schedule and was told he would put me on the schedule for 8/23. No call or notification on 8/23. So, sent another email on 8/23 and received a response on 8/26 saying he wasn't sure I had wanted him to do the work because of the questions I had regarding price. Emails were clear that it was a go and never indicated any need for a reply back to him. So on 8/27, was told and confirmed would be on 9/2. On 8/28, was sent an email saying there was a possibility work could be done on 9/1 instead and the he would let me know ahead of time. Arrived home in early afternoon 9/1 and workers were surprisingly there. That really wasn't that big of a deal because all the work was outside, but it would have been nice to know. Much of the labor time was for workers to wait for cement and mortar to dry. Works seems fine. The guys were nice, cleaned up everything well. Tried to pay them with credit card, but was told would have to contact owner because they could only take cash or check on the spot. Contacted owner and he replied there is a 3% fee for using credit card. So, a check is in the mail. Just feel like I had to go with this person because of the coupon and wish I would have gotten other quotes, but trusted this company because it was on Angie's List. Extremely disappointed in timeliness as I had to have been one of the first to contact company (early a.m. on 6/6) for this deal and work wasn't completed until nearly 3 months after the initial contact. Felt like the price paid was very high. Literally paid $365 ($266 for work + $99 coupon which included 3 hours of labor -- would have been over $500 without coupon and I had the blocks and stone already here!) to have a 3x3 retaining wall rebuilt (flush with ground, no stakes in ground) and a 5 foot long x 2 inch wide gap filled with mortar. I won't purchase any more Angie's list coupons for work that would be best to have multiple quotes on. Maybe the coupon has it in the fine print and I just have not seen it, but would have liked to have been able to easily receive refund for coupon if I found quote too high or did not find company suitable to do work.

I purchased the Angies List Bid Deal for this contractor in early June. It took about 4 weeks for C&M to follow up and provide an estimate for the work and another few weeks to perform the work. The crew was quick and efficient once they arrived and cleaned up pretty well after they finished.

The work involved replacing brick, tuckpointing, a crown coat and inspecting the chimney for cleanliness. Kourtney and his employees did a great job, and if we need chimney work done in the future, we'll call him again.

We purchased the Angie's list big deal for masonry work. We have just purchased our house and during our home inspection it was noted the bricks needed some pintucking and the chimney should be inspected. Kourtney came out after we purchased the big deal and examined everything and gave us very clear prices of what it would cost for different things that needed to be done. He also gave us a "cheap" option or the full replacement option and we chose to go with the full replacement option. Some how we didn't exchange phone numbers at this meeting and so when they came back to do the work we didn't have any advance notice, they kind of just showed up and started. They did a great job and we would definitely recommend them. The invoice for the remaining balance not covered by the big deal was sent by email after the work was completed and was exactly what was quoted. We would definitely recommend the company, they did an excellent job.

Courtney was prompt in giving an estimate and getting the work done. He matched the mortar color to that of the existing porch. I would hire them again.

I bought the Angieslist Big Deal, but later I found that my estimate was too high around $1000. I didn’t go ahead with that project because the deal would not cover it. I think that they did what I asked them to do. It was nice that I didn’t have to be home for them. It was an outside activity and they left the estimate in my mailbox. They did it in the timeframe that they said they would do it.

They were on Angie's big deal. He did an excellent job. I was very pleased with him. It was all done with the price of the big deal. I did like his work and in fact I referred a friend of mine to him.

went well. Cleaned up very well. He was carefull not to damage bushes. Ended up he had to remove several bricks that were loose. Placed them back very well.
