I called to have them come out and give me an estimate on getting our Blue Stone repaired. The work can be done at a later date but, I must first have it power washed. I will get it power washed and call them back in the spring. They were very professional and gave me good advise on how to proceed and, they will give an Angie's List discount.

I called the company before purchasing the Big Deal to check that their employees were CSIA certified, left a message, no response. Took it with a grain of salt and purchased Deal anyway. They never contacted me through the scheduler thing (I've had great experiences with it in the past. Good program!). I called and left another message, no response. I checked my Angie's List email, my junk mail and called it. Very disappointing and completely unprofessional.

I had them come out to give us an estimate. When he came out he stood in the driveway, looked at the chimney, and said it looks like it is in pretty good shape. We asked him to look to see if we needed to have and tuck pointing done. He looked around, came in and talked to us about everything. Told us he would give us the $99 discount for the tuck pointing. He said that he looked at the chimney and that it needed all sorts of grout removal, a new cap, etc. The two together would have been about $4,000. We had someone come out that did the work at a much lower price. We are getting a refund through Angie's List for this deal since we aren't using it.

I went with them for this extensive project because they had the best price. They weren't able to match the color of the brick exactly. The price changed mid project because the amount of work was greater than expected, but after speaking with them we worked it out. The job was fine, but I wish they'd cleaned up a bit better before leaving. Also, I wish they let me know when they sprayed to waterproof the bricks, the chemical could've damaged my shrubs.

They where very nice .told me I did not need the chimney sweep and also went on the roof and made sure the out side was ok

Work was competently done. They sold me some additional service (chimney sweep), who in turn tried to sell a major upgrade for the chimney crowns.

They did a good job. Cleaned up afterwards.

We decided to wait to have the chimmey topper replaced

It went fine. David was only here to give me an estimate. The actual work will not occur until November 2013. I am to be contacted in the next two weeks to schedule the work.

We initially purchased a Big Deal knowing we had some problem bricks in the foundation of our 1911 home. They came out and inspected the entire foundation and provided us with 2 quotes, one to do just the really bad spot, and one to do all the trouble spots all the way around. The price was good so we opted to do all of the repairs (there was a price adjustment to incorporate the savings offered by the Big Deal). They came out when scheduled, did the work over 2 days, reviewed all of the work with us when completed, cleaned up thoroughly and did a great job. They did a good job matching the old brick and blending the repairs - you wouldn't even notice the difference if you didn't know work had been done. My only complaint was they were supposed to call to confirm the date and did not. They came on the original date quoted, but it had slipped my mind so I was surprised when they called me the morning of to say they had arrived. That was a minor thing and it would not keep me from using them again. The rest of their communication was great and they spent a lot of time showing us the repairs before and after. Overall we are very satisfied with the work and the professional and friendly staff.

They were quick to schedule an appointment with. The work was really good. I was happy with the work and the timeliness with the estimate. The owner completed the work, estimate and even provided photos of the proposed work. They were very explanatory with what they were doing. They were able to look at and complete everything that I asked for.

The chimney is great, no leaks and looks great. Only issue that I've seen is a section of the roof beside the chimney has a small area that has sagged. Not sure if related to work. This crew was great and worked well with me.

They were excellent and came exactly as scheduled. They were also good about cleaning up and left everything as they found it. They went above and beyond, they came and took pictures to things I couldn't see or get to and showed those pictures to me as they worked through the estimate. They also used the pictures so

I scheduled two separate appointments to get an estimate to have work done. Both appointments, they didn't show up at or close to scheduled apt time. I called after they were 30 minutes late both times and they said they didn't realize how far it was and they would arrive in 25-30 minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't have the flexibility to wait for them to possibly show up more than an hour late.

I purchase Big Deal order number 824105 on August 20, 2013. Masonry Outfitters gave me a $7,000 estimate on work that I was not interested having them perform. They were quite pushy about getting me to schedule the work. I contacted them for an estimate of the specific work I was interested in having completed (tuck pointing of one wall) and they have not contacted me. This is a company that I do not want to have work on my house. Thus, I would like a full refund.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. The work is finished but it did take a long time to get the appointment. It was a free estimate and my brother told them what he wanted to have done. They took the information and came back with a very large quote with additional work other than what my brother was wanting to have done. After going back and forth and having a few appointments with my brother, my brother wanted to do just the basic fill and patch of 3 hours worth. It took 2 months to get an appointment because they were busy. They completed the work yesterday and they did a good job. I paid them at the time of the service and we are done with them. The Angie's List deal was 3 hours for $99 and I paid an additional $100. They were supposed to be there 2 weeks but their truck broke down so they had to reschedule. There was a lack of communication and the manager didn't let the worker know that I was going to be available earlier so he was busy doing another job so he couldn't come. They finally came on Monday and did the job. They were very nice but it was hard to get the appointment. All in all what they did was fine. It was one visit to do the 3 hours of labor. I bought the deal back in the spring. I told them I felt like I was wasting my time going back and forth with them. They weren't horrible and they got the work done in the end. They had to come out a couple of times for the estimates and it was always a couple thousand dollars more. They did give me a good deal in the very end because of all the inconvenience and the time it took to get the job done. They have shortened hours and I left multiple messages and emails. They said they try to return calls within 24 hours.

After I placed my order for the Big Deal it was approximately 2 days later that I received a message through Angie's List to either give the company a call or leave my contact information so that they could get in touch with me. Within a week of leaving my contact info, I received a call from Masonry Outfitters to make an appointment at my home with Kourtney Zahn. After checking the repairs that I needed , he informed me that it was beyond their scope of expertise. He was very polite and professional. He suggested that perhaps I should contact a landscaper or a general handyman since the brickwork was more ground work and not the type of masonry repairs that they normally do. I appreciate his suggestions and will be looking into these options real soon.

They came out to my house to check what work needed to be done. They were very professional, they just explained that the work was out of their expertise.

I was unable to use the big deal due to the additional costs with the deal. The company came out and performed as estimate. They were on time, professional and very polite.

The provider performed tuckpointing work on our home. The provider was a little difficult to get scheduled. Additionally, we had to remind the provider of spots that had been missed. Overall the experience was fine.

They did an excellent job, the job itself took a little longer because of the old mortar which was not their fault. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. They were very personable from the office to the field reps.

After purchasing the Big Deal from Masonry Outfitters on August 27th, I received an email from them on August 29th which read, quote: Thank you for purchasing our BIg Deal! Please provide me with the best way to contact you weather that be by phone or email so I can set up a time for us to come out and take a look at the work you are wanting done. Thanks! Shelby Dickenson 317-500-1250 I responded the same day, August 29th: I will telephone you next Thursday or Friday to set up an appointment. Thank you, Pequita Pryor On Friday morning, September 6th, I telephoned them and got an answering machine. I left a phone message and then I sent them an email, which read: Could you please telephone me as soon as possible to schedule an appointment. I have been gone on vacation and just got back to learn that my contractor wants to come to tomorrow to replace my porch floor. I would like to get the masonry work done at the same time if possible. Thank you, [Member name removed] [Member information removed] Yesterday, September 9th, I sent them another email which read: This is my first purchase through Angie's List; I hope it was not a mistake. I don't understand why I have not received a reply from my phone message or from either of the two emails I have sent. Could you please reply to my request? [Member name removed] It was at that time that I decided to email Angie's List. A short time later, I received this message from Masonry Outfitters, which read: I am very sorry you have not received a phone call from us. We will be contacting you first thing tuesday morning to schedule and appointment. Thanks! Sincerely, [Member name removed] I just got home a few minutes ago, and there was a call on my caller ID from a Kourtney Zahn (317-500-1250)that came in at 11:12 am. There was a message that said it was Shelby from Masonry Outfitters calling to say that if I still wanted to schedule an appointment to give her a call back. I feel so uncomfortable with this Masonry Outfitters that I do not want to schedule anything with them; they seem like a very unprofessional rinky d*** outfit to me and there is no way that I want them messing with my home's foundation. All I would like is a refund and to find someone reliable (with lots of good references) to do the work for me. Sincerely, [Member name removed]

When I called their office the person said they did do power washing. When the fellow came out, he said they do power washing, but the coupon did not cover that, and Angie's List would refund my $. He was very pleasant.
