Unprofessional and disappointing

Everything worked out well. I purchased additional services for four hours beyond the details of the Big Deal. Cortney initially came out to see what exactly needed to be done. The technician who completed the job was a very good worker. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and accurate. He took his time and was also concerned that the job was done right. I was very happy with the outcome.

Gave a estimate of work that needed to be done to my fireplace. I did not have to work done at this time but may have it done in the spring.

How can I cancel a coupon. I am tired of dealing with this company trying to get them out here for a chimney cleaning. I bought this on November 4th and have been chasing them down routinely trying to get them out here and they keep dragging it out and not responding quickly. Please reimburse me and please have your merchants verify they can handle appointments before putting the deal up. They initially told me Janurary when I purchased this deal Nov 4th.

I purchased the deal on November 26th and received an email from them on 12-3-2013. They stated they were scheduling the work at this point for the last week of December and to call them to set up an appointment. I did and left a message. I didn't hear back and emailed them twice since then with no reply. I plan on using someone else for this service.

Replaced four chimney caps. All is well

They will not call me back. They blame it on their large influx of calls for their special but, come one, over a month later and they cannot at least give the courtesy of a call back?

I contact them to provide the service. They said they don't just provide the service. They have to first come out and bid the work. Whereas I just wanted the three hours I bought. They missed the first appointment, said it disappeared from their work list. They came yesterday and said they don't do paver work even on house stairs so they recommended we get a landscaper.

It was a good experience, but the work I needed was much more complicated than I realized so, I did not use the repair work.

The company's owner did this work and he was most pleasant. He described in detail the various areas of the fireplace and flue that he was inspecting. I highly recommend this company!!

The scope of work was larger than what was covered by the Big Deal, but they honored the discount (3 hours of work) and only billed me for the difference. They were so busy that I had some problems with scheduling. But they did a great job once they were finally able to come out and do the job. I was very happy with the quality of the first job they did, so I called them again when I had another masonry job. Once again, there was a delay in them getting back to me and, by the time they did get back to me, I had already found someone else to do the job.

Someone came out to see what I needed, & the loose mortar in my bricks around fireplace had to wait until I had work done on the chimney which was why I had the loose mortar. It was going to be too expensive as I had a roof to cover & another chimney to replace.I decided to wait until the chimney was inspected more closely as it didn't show water leaking in the fireplace in the living room, but only in the basemnt firepalce.

Cleaned chimney. Service work was good and technician showed results via pictures on his phone. Was difficult to reach the company to schedule; use email to schedule rather than through Angies List or phone. It works much better. They had to reschedule twice due to a 'truck breakdown' and house fire. Did not show up when scheduled initially so I downgraded the punctuality.

He never was able to return to do the additional work

This is the last response I received from them: "This was the proposal you agreed with before we did any work. The Angie's List deal covered $345 worth of the work. The total before the deal was $714, which brings your total owed to $369. We had 2 guys out there, not just one.". My recollection was that I would receive 3 hours of masonry work for $111.00. They were here for exactly 3 hours. What's up?

I would have liked the brushing of the inside the pipe to last longer and remove more creosol. Also I thought the two guys could have wired brush the top of the fire place and inside the stove and used a vacume to do more thorough cleaning. They were about 30 minutes or so late. I hope the top connection was not weakened when they removed the cap. I will need to check it when the snow melts because I thought I had screws in it. Second, birds had came into the chimney. They could have easily installed a metal piece of mesh for the $79 charge as a small courtesy since they desire business in the future (not a difficult thing because they work on chimneys everyday). I had a gentleman do a much better job and he was by himself. He really put elbow grease in brushing more and something like the mesh he would have done as a courtesy for the job He also had a vac and really cleaned it well. I will not use this company again. Nice guys but not happy with this job. I like companies who show me that they can do better than what I can do on my own.

David was prompt, respectful, neat and professional. He cleaned my chimney and got up on the roof to inspect the flue to better understand why I had so much creosote when I'd had my chimney swept only 2 years before, and did not burn a lot of fires. He identified the problems and provided a quote for repairs.

They came out and gave us a quote..Cost is really more than we can afford right now..Plus it is to late in season to start concrete work.

Masonry Outfitters came out and did a thorough assessment of the building. They gave us a clear estimate and then came back upon our approval and did the work. Major tuck pointing work was performed throughout. Windowsills, steps, cracks and joints we didn't even know we had were repaired. Very happy with the work.

This was an Angie's List "Deal" that was a great value. We had to reschedule due to an early dusting of snow, but Masonry Outfitters was very accommodating and came out on a Saturday to complete the work. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. We have a very steep roof, he had no trouble installing the replacement cap in a very short amount of time. He also inspected a second chimney and made us aware of what needs to be done to correct problems with it. We are completely satisfied with the work, would use Masonry Outfitters again, and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends or family.

They came and placed caulking around my fireplace. The color was not appropriate for my bricks and it looks as if a child did it. I was very disappointed with their work. The owner Dave called and left a message and stated that they would redo in a different color but I called and left a message and my call has not been returned yet. So far I've only spent the 99 dollars I paid for the Angies list deal. At this point I'm very reluctant to purchase any more so called deals.

My issue was that they would make an appointment and then cancel and reschedule, they did this three times before they completed the work, I also had them quote a business job and they cancelled twice before. Once the work was completed, it was excellent

David was on time and very professional. Visual inspection of firebox shown chimney did not require sweeping. David advised to request refund.

David was very friendly and professional. He inspected our chimney before starting the work and informed us that there were problems that needed to be fixed because the chimney is unsafe to use. He gave us a quote on how much the repairs would cost and recommended that I contact Angie's List for a refund since he was unable to perform the services that I paid for.

Chimney sweep and check exterior chimney and brick. We are replacing a part that will require some additional work. They showed up on time and did a quick inspection and cleaning. Brought tarps to cover the carpet and there was no mess left behind.
