The estimate process was a breeze. Josh was very helpful, thorough, and informative. Scheduling took several weeks and it was hard to get a definite time/day for the work. On the day of the work, they were quick and provided quality work. The only issues I had during the entire process was communicating and their clean up. It seemed I had to talk to several people of various levels to get details about when they would be here and how it would go. Not a big deal, but it seemed like I had to ask rather than get told. Also, the clean up was less than desirable. The acid wash they used on the bricks/mortar killed a few plants around the base of the chimney, and the sidewalk beneath was covered with mortar dust.

I called them immediately after purchasing the deal. They were responsive and let me know that they were booked out for longer than I had time to wait to have the work done. We ended up not have the service done.

Services were not performed. Does not do sidewalk work.

We were very pleased and impressed with their honesty and professionalism.

They did a great job. They stopped a leak in my chimney and did more than they had to do. They mistakenly started on the wrong chimney and they went above and beyond the work I asked for. I will be using them again and would highly recommend them.

They did the work in 2 or 3 days and nearly a year later there has been no leaking from the chimney. They showed up on time, let me check their work at the end and fixed what I found wrong without complaint. I thought it was a little expensive, but it was good work and I would recommend them.

As I stated in the narrative above, he said that there was slight damage on the outside of the chimney on the roof, but because the expense of repair was going to be prohibitive to me, I chose not to have his company make the repair.

They did a good work. Their price was reasonable. They did it 2 - 3 years ago. The work that they did has yet to fall apart. I have two big stone planters at the end of my driveway. The delivery trucks that come up the driveway will nudge it on the way up. It doesn't take long before the bricks are sitting on each other and all displaced. They did a good job.

The roofer wanted someone to flash the chimney and they built a new cricket. They quoted and advised that the work would be supervised. They sent someone to build the cricket and it was well done. The flashing of the chimey was difficult. They said they would need to grind the stone to make the flashing flat against the chimney. They flashed the chimney without grinding the stone and charged me as if they had done that.The supervisor agreed that we would get a new cap on the chimney. We took the tarp off today and about a quarter of the chimney cracked apart from the cap. It is major damage that I think they covered up. He even broke my son's ladder that he was borrowing because he didn't bring his own ladder. They didn't even clean up after themselves. Workmanship and integrity deserve a very low rating.

install was done correctly. They could not complete the water proofing same day. They said they would be back out to complete. I had to call them in order for them to return and complete the work. The stainless steal cap is appx 300$ however to do the 'install' was appx 1000$

He showed up in a beautiful shiny new truck. No ladder. He cleaned my chimney from inside my living room. He didn't have a ladder so I don't believe that he could have provided any kind of safety inspection or checked whether the seal was intact between the roof and the chimney. I still hear something drip when it rains but I wont know from their inspection. I asked for a quote on repairing the cracked mortar around the fireplace which he provided in around a weeks time. His quote was more than double what I actually paid for this service to be performed through a third party. He was only here for around fifteen to twenty minutes. $75.00 I won't be fooled again.

scheduled an appointment during the week and they didn't show up. I had to leave work early to be there for the appointment. they apologized after I sent them an email and I decided to give them another chance, scheduled for Saturday and they called me in the morning saying that could not make it again. waste of time.

It went well. David was professional. Still deciding on quote provided.

They were prompt and professional. They recommended what we absolutely needed and other options. They came on time and got the work done in the time frame they told us. Later they e-mailed to say they will be back to seal the bricks and concrete now that it has completely dried. I've recommended them to two others. We were very pleased.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The price was good. They didn't come on time so I finally called them. The guy apparently had an emergency but he hadn't called me beforehand.

Due to defects in the chimney it cannot be swept. Dave from Chimney and Masonry Outfitters suggested I request the refund.

The team was efficient, courteous, thoughtful, professional, and knowledgeable. Major repairs to the chimney needed to be done. They were accommodating of my schedule, and knew what they were doing. Highly recommend.

Kourtney completed our inspection. We have three fireplaces and he looked at all of them. Only one needs attention at the moment. He gave very helpful explanations and advice about our options. His suggestions were honest and fair. We received very good information! We have not had any work completed yet, but if we decide to, we will likely use this company. I was very impressed with the politeness and professionalism of both Kourtney and the employee who scheduled our appointment.

Courtney Zahn came out and inspected the chimney and several other areas of the house as requested. He photographed each area and was very knowledgeable and professional in explaining what and why the various repairs were neccessary. A detailed proposal and cost estimate was written up but there was no high pressure sales pitch, which I appreciated. After a second inspection with a different company I chose to go with Masonry Outfitters. Basically, the work on the stone siding and on the chimney was completed in one day and then the chimney waterproofing was applied 30 days later as specified. Both Courtney and Kenny were very easy to work with and I am very pleased with the repairs to my house.

They did an excellent job with filling in both areas, there was an area we had discussed to also fill in and there had been a misunderstanding on how to fill it in and it had not been done. They returned without question and completed the job without charging me additional money even when they said that area had not been quoted in the total amount. Very pleasant company to work with.

When we first purchased the Big Deal from Chimney & Masonry Outfitters we intended to have them fix our front steps which were pulling away from the porch. When Scott arrived and inspected them he told us that the work would take longer than the 3 hours offered in the deal. We then asked him to look at our chimney since we knew it needed work. Scott went ahead with replacing some bricks and tuckpointing on the chimney. He also worked on our stairs which required repairing with mortar and some other work. Both of these projects are still in progress with the chimney requiring some water-proofing but we expect him to return soon to finish everything up. All in all it's been a great experience. Scott and his salesman are very personalable and professional.

The contact personal were very neat and polite. and very considerate of our wishes and concerns. The work crew was also very neat and went about the work efficiently. They were very professional and quiet. No loud music playing as we have experienced before with other companies. The clean up was fast and thorough. When they left we couldn't tell they had been here except for a beautiful new chimney. We had no idea what this kind of repair would cost for this kind of repair, but was a little surprised when it turned out to be $6,500. However due to fact that we found them trough Angie's List AND we were very impressed by the contact people, and they had to search for matching brick, it was an excellent choice. You get what you pay for and we are very pleased with the job well done.

David Dickerson came on time and checked our chimney and said that since we have not used the chimney that much that it did not need to be sweep. He was very professional .

The workmanship was poor, and I wouldn’t recommend them.
