They arrived on time and were very professional and friendly. They inspected the chimney and cleaned it out. Very happy with the service and will use each year.

This company failed to show for a scheduled chimney inspection. When called after 25 minutes late, they indicated they would not be able to make the appointment and forgot to call to cancel. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

They did a great job. They were on time, polite, hard workers. They took the time needed to safely tear down what had to come down and rebuild it. It looks wonderful and it was a big (and unexpected) job to be done. Their quote was about $3000 less than another agency which was a good amount for this job.

Their service was very good and caring, they did the job efficiently and came on time.

Waited only about 2 days for an appointment. They gave me very detailed estimate for tuck-pointing. Unfortunately, they do not do concrete repairs, so I did not use them.

This contractor was great to work with. The technician was on time, considerate of keeping the house clean, and was open and honest about the relative simplicity of maintaining our system - he even explained hoe I could do it myself. I highly recommend.

For the most part, very well. The limestone window sill install was seamless and very well done. After a very bad experience with another contractor and his subs, we were so happy to have this go smoothly. The firebox redo ended up not turning out very well the first time, but without too much hesitation, they sent they guy back and they completely redid the firebox a second time. While it was frustrating to have had that happen, I was happy that they took quick and full responsibility for it not being a great job the first time.

These guys are pros. Every contact with the company was professional. Work was completed ahead of schedule and within two days. New chimney looks great and works well - we're (or someone) is set for the next 90 years.

Our project included our main chimney and crown repair, install a water heater liner, as well as remove a non-functioning chimney and rebuild a severely deteriorated section on the back of the home. We were referred to CMO by our roofer. We did have several estimates given, and the main reason we went with CMO was because the estimator, David D. took the time to answer all my questions, and clearly explained the process we would go through. We felt the price was fair (not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive), and we would be getting a good value for the price quoted. The mason assigned to our project, Zach S. showed up on time and ready to work, and he took care to make sure I understood what was happening each step of the way. He and his associate, Myles S. were respectful of my home and my property as well as to me and my husband. They were conscientious and took great care to clean up the property after each day to make sure there was no mess and no hazards for us to be concerned with. The last day of the project it rained, and they weren’t able to complete on time. Apparently there were some other issues on CMO’s end, and the project stalled for several days. We experienced a bit of difficulty with communication, but were finally able to speak to both Dave D. and Troy K. and the next day they had Alec N. out to finish the project; replace the crown and install the liner. All of the technicians were skilled at their jobs, and it was a pleasure to watch them work. Once the project was complete Troy K. came by to provide a walk through with my husband and I, answer any questions we still had and collect payment. Communication issues aside, we had a very positive experience with CMO. If the need for your services arise in the future, we would not hesitate to hire CMO. We would unreservedly recommend CMO to our family, friends and neighbors should they need similar work.

It went well Adam did a great job. There was a little miscommunication between the work order and the sales Rep. However, a moth or so later they came back out and finished the couple joints that were missed. I would use them again.

The work was done in late December 2015 on a cold day that rained heavily. The guys worked hard to get the job done, but had to finish the roof work under a tarp in heavy rain. There was some disorganization and a need to go out to get additional parts, but that was to allow them to do the work according to regulations. Because of the rush and the fact that the exterior roof work was done in pouring rain, everything ended up looking a little off-kilter. The exterior stack is tilted slightly and leaks slightly in heavy rain. The interior ductwork is bulky and awkward. Because of the holidays and having just moved in, I didn't get around to inspecting the work and didn't realize that there was a leak until much later. I have meant to contact them to see if they can come back and adjust the vent stack, but haven't gotten to it. So I can't say whether or not they are willing to fix the problems. Otherwise, the technicians were very nice and worked really hard to get things done, and the guy that did the roof work got soaked and frozen as he worked, but was good-natured about it. The price was the lower of two estimates that I got.

He came out and did the estimate and he told me he would be here at 9:30 it was exactly 9:30.

Very well. They had a very hard time matching the Brick and getting the Shingle for our roof but they came through and it was done in 2 days from start to finish

Old brick chimney was torn out and replaced with metal pipe. Since the current furnace is a new energy efficient model, it doesn't need a large brick chimney to work properly. The roof was sealed and repaired where the new pipe chimney is located. I have two complaints. One is that the new pipe is not very straight. That's just a minor thing, but it is what it is. My bigger complaint is that the day the work was scheduled to be done, one fellow came in first to tear out the old brick chimney. He arrived on time and completed the job in a timely manner. A second crew was supposed to arrive an hour or two later to finish the job, but didn't arrive for several hours. By the time two fellows arrived, they had little time to get the job done before dark. As it turned out, most of the time spent on it was after dark, and they didn't finish the job. One of them came back two days later to finish the job. Everything is done to my satisfaction (except for the pipe not being straight), but I wasn't happy that much of this work was done after dark. To my way of thinking, this is something that should be done during daylight, not with lights on a roof after dark.

That was great. The coating didn't work the first time, but they came back out and did it again. I remember feeding the guys, so they must of been working really hard.

It took a month to get the estimate, but then things went faster. Everyone was pleasant and professional, but we felt that without our intervention the final look would have been very unsatisfactory. When we tried to talk about our concerns it seemed to take a long while for them to register. We should have had more discussion about how it would fit; he put it one way which later had to be changed with hours more work. The final look is very good but not outstanding. Faulty vacuum filter also spread black soot over downstairs floors and furnishings. They offered to clean up, but we decided to, but thought that it seemed to take a while to figure out that black soot was coming out. We were told originally installation would take 6 hours and it lasted more than two days. We would still recommend this company, they provide a product and service that is hard to find, but would suggest to prospective customers that they need to be present and actively involved.

Great. Company honored their estimate even though actual scope of work turned out to be more than expected

They were very professional and presented all of the options and cost so I could make an informed decision. I have been very happy with their work.

They had to come out twice. They did the repair then suggested we put the caps on. They were fast, prompt and honest. They did great work. They were young and enthusiastic, I would recommend them.

On the day of 3/3/2017 we needed the services of a chimney sweep to facilitate the installation of a gas hot water heater. After several different companies it appeared that no openings would be available until the following week. Then, in a call to Chimney & Masonry, the problem was solved!Although they had no openings for the afternoon they obviously rearranged their schedule to give us the required help yet that afternoon. With the help of Michael in the office and Zach in the field our problem was solved. Two caring professionals with a company that believes in service. Will use them again the next time we need their type of service.

The quality of the work was sloppy, the fireplace doors are out of alignment, there is a gap in the middle of the doors.

It went well. I did have to call them back to sand down one spot.

I was extremely impressed with this company in my interactions with them. Prompt to call back, very professional. Unfortunately the project we were thinking about was just not really feasible, but they were very informative in the process of telling me why what I wanted was probably not really a possibility. If I need to hire a chimney sweep or ever need something for a fireplace in the future, I will absolutely give this company a call.
