Description of Work: The in-store experience was fine. The product was of high quality and reasonable price. The initial installation left something to be desired, and we requested a few repairs. Repairs were never completed to our satisfaction. We were told more than once that a trim piece would be properly replaced, and they never called back.

Description of Work: While we are very pleased with the end product, price and friendliness of the staff and installers, the installers were not very punctual and made daily trips to pick up supplies during "working hours". There were a couple of days where very little actual work got done. We addressed our concerns with the staff and then they stepped it up to complete the job by our deadline. I think we should have made our expectations known up front.

Description of Work: I went to the store and selected flooring. I arranged a date for installation. They arrived promptly and removed the old flooring and installed the new flooring in one day. The only issue (small) was that they did not put trim at the edge of the dishwasher. That trim was not included in the estimate and was easy to purchase and install myself. The installers were polite, professional and completed the work well.

Description of Work: They removed my old carpet and installed new carpet. They even moved my furniture for me an put it back when they were done. Everyone was very polite. The guys even offered to bring me back some lunch. I was very impressed with there service and quality.

Description of Work: Removed and hauled away old carpet on a set of stairs. Then carpeted the stairs with the remaining carpet from a room remodel.

+ 0 moreWe received several bids, but when Chip arrived, he immediately stood out. He was very personable, genuine, honest, professional, and very thorough from beginning to end. We were also on a time crunch yet he was able to accommodate our crazy schedule. His follow up is what you expect from quality companies. He called to make sure his installers were on time and that we were pleased with the final result. It was a wonderful experience, we had several companies bidding on this job, but Big Dog Flooring stood out as the most professional of all. Other companies tried to obtain our project but weren't completely honest or concerned with quality. Chip on the other hand was quite different than the rest. I highly recommend Big Dog Flooring for any of your flooring needs and will be using his services for our other flooring needs and projects.

+ 2 moreThis is not a store with regular hours. They do have samples at the store, but you do need to call and make an appointment. They service alot of contractors so it's not a normal retail store set up with definite retail hours. They will accommodate you. They beat every price I shopped everywhere I shopped including internet specials. They did excellent work. They had some difficult areas to tile in the bathroom and they did a beautiful job. They also did the slate on my fireplace which is gorgeous. They were very good and continue to be about any punch lists and follow through with their work. They are also extremely good at repairs. A piece of our hardwood floors was damaged by the delivery of appliances. They came out and replaced this and you'd never know there was a problem! They did this at no charge!
Description of Work: They installed all the flooring and wall tile in my new home, which included hardwood, tile, carpet and vinyl.

+ -1 moreWe called them to replace carpeting that got wet when our water heater leaked. The owner brought samples to the house and helped us decide if we were going to do carpet or hardwood. He knew our budget and met it and was able to install within the week.
