After B&W lost our trouble ticket, we called again and within an hour someone was out to our house and we were finished in less than 20 minutes. David was informative and told me how to troubleshoot the problem in the future. He was friendly and checked everything out for us. This is our second experience with B&W and we will definitely use them in the future.

The main drain at my home on Meridian Street was backing up into the basement. This never happened before and I called B&W Plumbing to address the issue. Plumber, Dave, responded in a timely fashion, within 2 hours of my call. He called when he was on his way. Upon arriving he diagnosed the problem and opened the drain. While he was working he provided helpful information to me on how to avoid this problem again as well as suggesting a possible maintenance routine to follow. Plumber, Dave, was cordial and friendly. I would recommend B&W when you have a plumbing problem.

Excellent service. They were out the same morning I called for an appointment. He repaired the pipe quickly. I would recommend their services. I am also going to use them to repair my furnace.

Greg removed A/C unit and put in gable for security (copper wire). He was very polite and explained what he was doing.

They did a good job. He was here about 3 hours, which was longer than I anticipated. He had to go to a home improvement store to get a part and replaced the broken piece replaced 3 boiler valves with more reliable ball valves. I thought the price was a little high.

Had to turn the water main off to fix a toilet problem, the valve to the water main started leaking. Called B&W and Gerald returned my call promptly. It was the start of the Super Bowl and he explained how to tighten the packing nut of the valve that controls my main water line inside my home. What he told me worked. Explained that it was common whenever you turn a valve that was old and had not been used for a while. He had no problem coming out, if I needed, but the leak had stopped so there was no need. I then discussed that I would like someone to come out at 3:30pm and check it to let me know if I needed to have it replaced or was it OK. He stated that he would let the office know first thing in the morning. At 3:40pm I received a call from Dave that he was on his way. He checked it, tightened it more.

They are very timely in responding when we call them, which is the best thing you can hope for with a plumber. We did just found out that the toilet they put in has a small leak under it. Otherwise, we were pretty happy with them and would still use them again.

No problems. The tech was done with both tasks in about and hour. He was friendly and very courteous. I will call them when I need a plumber in the future. I knew exactly what I needed for them to do. They gave me pricing over the phone before they I scheduled the job. Ninety Five percent of their competitors would not do that. I like to know what it will cost before someone comes out even if they give me a ball park figure. Many plumbing companies like to get their tech out to your house and then tell you what it will cost. They know that most people will OK the work because they plumber is already there and they have made the time to meet the plumber. B&W did not follow that practice. That was the best feature of their company.

B & W did a wonderful job. Dave was the installer who came to our home. He was very professional and courteous. I would gladly have Dave come back for other work in our home.

This was a good experience. We would hire them again in the future.

We have used them for 10 years, and have always been happy with their service.

We had trouble with all 4 of our toilets. They fixed three and made some adjustments to the fourth but gave us all the information we needed to finish the job ourselves.

I called B&W at about 9:00 PM. David promptly called me back and we discussed my problem of a busted pipe. I had decided to wait until the next day to have it repaired. David called me in the morning to follow up and see if I still needed it repaired. He was able to get me taken care of that morning. He arrived on time, removed the sink and drywall quickly and found the leak. He established that it was the hot water line and quickly restored the cold water for me. Like my pipe, his glue for the repair was frozen. He returned shortly and repaired the pipe.

I am rehabbing an investment property and called B&W on a Friday to schedule a time for someone to come out and provide a quote for all of the HVAC work and run all new plumbing (the house is a shell and has nothing in it). The lady who answered the phone said the person I needed to talk to was not in and he would call me on Monday. I never heard from him so I called back the following Friday and spoke with someone and explained everything I would need. He said his schedule for the following week was not clear yet and that he would call me 'early next week' to schedule something. It has been over a month and I have not heard from B&W. I asked around and found out they were not necessarily the best price in town, so I never followed up with them. I was very disappointed in their ability to deliver messages to sales people and their ability to follow up with customers. If they were just too busy, they could have told me so I did not wait around for them.

A gas leak was identified inside my home. The gas was shut off during the winter and I needed urgent service to repair the faulty line. I called B+W first because I'd used them for several plumbing jobs. The customer service rep told me they could get someone out to look at it the same day, but not actually fix it until a day later. A. This did not make sense to me--if they were going to actually come to my house, why not just fix it? B. He was extremely unconcerned about the add'l 24 hours without heat and hot water that this would require. Ultimately, after he spoke with the individual who usually services our home, that person said that he would find a way to fit it in since we were valued customers and it was an urgent situation. In between the two conversations, I called several other (new to me) companies. All of them identified the situation as emergent, unlike the rep at B+W. I used B+W because of my prior experiences, but was very disappointed in the customer service attitude.

Scheduled on line and got a $10.00 discount plus the Angie's List discount, called me to confirm, arrived on time, performed work quickly and cleaned up afterward.

I noticed a spot on family room ceiling that appeared to be from a leak in bathroom above. I called B&W, and they were able to send someone out that same day. There was no visible wet area in the bathroom above that was obviously causing the stain, but technician listed the possible causes-seal on toilet leaking, or various areas in shower that were minus caulking where water might be leaking behind wall. It turned out to be the toilet causing the problem. We apparently were lucky that the leak wasn't worse as very little of the wax seal was left. He replaced the seal and a rusted, broken bolt on toilet. He also re-caulked areas in shower to avoid future problems. All in all a very positive experience.

The service man arrived Saturday morning, was prompt, described what he was going to do. He was fast and efficient. The bill was reasonable.

Service Technician was very prompt in arriving and quickly removed the gol from around the suction of sump pump. The gol came from A/C condensation drain. Excellent job as usual by this company.

They are very professional and do a good job. This is the 4th or 5th year I have used them. I called them yesterday, and they came out today. The price listed is for the service contract I have with them.

When I told them I was calling from an Angie's List search, they let me know about the coupon they were offering. Their coupon brought them down to a competitors price. I have no complaints.

Randy showed up as scheduled and was extremely helpful in explaining the issues with the shower leak. He replaced the shower mechanism, a backyard spigot and changed shutoffs to ball valves. He was very professional and the work was thorough. I would recommend this company to friends and family as the work by B&W was a good value.

B&W provided excellent service from start to finish. I logged the call at 7:20AM, and a live person actually took the message. I was asked whether emergency service was necessary or whether I could wait until the office opened at 8:00AM. I replied that it was not an emergency, and I was contacted by B&W at 8:15AM. After explaining the problem and agreeing that a replacement was necessary, I was quoted a price based on a specific size and model of water heater. I was told a plumber would be dispatched within 15 minutes with the replacement on his truck. Randy arrived shortly after 9:00AM. He was polite and professional, and within 2 hours the work was completed. The workmanship was excellent, and Randy cleaned up such that you would never know he had been there. We appreciate the fact that B&W used a padded runner to cover the route from our front door across the hardwood floor and carpet to the basement. We also appreciated the 5% discount for Angie's List subscribers!
