Description of Work: Sanded and refinished hardwood floor. Repaired section that we had not noticed was damaged. Workers were friendly, punctual and professional. We had been scheduled for September but they were able to fit us in much sooner.

Description of Work: Cox Flooring, 3 men, hand sanded my hardwood staircase, going around my ornamental iron handrail, down to bare wood, made several repairs to this 85 year old stairway, and put 1 coat of polyurethane down. Then they cleaned up well. Next morning they filled all the nail holes and put down another coat of polyurethane. It looks very good!

Description of Work: Refinished all the wood floors in our house. It was explained during the estimate what was needed and what would be done. I was told how long it would take. I was also told what we would need to do to prepare for the job to be done. Everything went just as they said it would and we love our floors. We had to wait quite a while to schedule as they were booked up but it was worth the wait. The weather was also perfect which also helped for the floors to dry and the fumes to air out. No prepayment was asked for. I paid after the job was complete.

Description of Work: Mark Eads and his helper did a great job installing some Bruce refinished oak wood that I had purchased earlier. He installed the wood in the entry way and two rooms. The entry was was tile and he removed them. The other two rooms were carpeted. The challenge was to make the boards fit exactly with the boards from adjacent rooms where the same hardwood floor had been installed a few years earlier. This is the second time that Mr Eads is doing work for me. The first time, was when Arvel Cox was still working. Mark did a great job. He was punctual, efficient and cleaned up after his work. I also think his labor costs are quite reasonable and he is pleasure to work with. The estimate and scheduling process, handled by his wife, was also very efficient.
