They were so kind they were able to provide me with a testing stripe of stain and if i didn't like it they would sand it off and add another color. This was a fantastic service and really made the work meet my specific needs. Their communication was efficient and prompted they were able to come in within a week of initial contact and complete the job. The workers were A plus and treated me well, problem solving as they went.

My home is 74 years old. I have lived in the home for 14 years. The kitchen floor has been covered with stick on tiles, laminate and linoleum over the years by different owners of the home.. The original hardwood looked really bad. I called Quality Floor refinishing, told him the square foot dimensions and described the floor condition. He gave me a price over the phone and scheduled a day to get the job done. The job took two visits to complete. The first day the sanding and staining got done in about 5 hours. The clean up was done and very little dust was present through out the house. The second day the urethane top coat got done in about an hour or so. The floor looks really good now. I highly recommend this service and I would use them again.

We had water damage from a leak from our refridgerator and we replace the wood that was damaged. The owner sent out his son to give me an estimate to resurface the floor and make is all look the same..225.00 was the charge. His son came out and said all he needed to do is BUFF the floor and coat it and it would be fine...The floor looks horrible 2 different colors and is now blistering and peeling. This started I noticed in May 2014. I called Paul Surprenant the owner of the business and he again sent his son who said he would do the floor again for the difference I paid from 500.00. which would have been 275.00. The son said it needed to be sanded and recoated. I requested a written estimate and wrote my email address down for him. After several week I texted Paul the owner for a request for a written estimate which he emailed me an estimate for $600.00. I email him that was not what we agreed on with the son. After that point Paul has not responed to any emails.. Texts...or phone calls. I requested a refund and have had no response from him at all. I have had several different contractors come and give me estimates to redo my floor and ALL of them said it should have been sanded in the first place. Mr Surprenant has had ample time to respond to me and has not ..I have also reported him to the Better Business Bureau

The work was done quickly and excellently with minimal disruption to my home. The dust was captured and vacuumed into a bag during the sanding process.

The floors themselves look beautiful, but the amount of dust left behind will take me about a month to clean repeatedly until it all goes away. The floors were cleaned but there was dust in the adjoining bathroom, the outlets, the air registers, the windows and the baseboards. The room is finished but I will not be able to move furniture back into it for days while I continue cleaning. Additionally, while my initial contact over the phone was helpful and polite, the actual servicemen walked into my house as if they owned the place and not businessmen introducing themselves to me for the first time. Not sure if I would hire them again.

They had very good communication. Paul would call and verify times of when they were coming out. He also gave a price over the phone and honored the price that he gave. It looked very good when they finished. Paul was very easy to work with.

This was a job well done. I am very satisfied with my floor. They were very professional.

Paul and Dave arrived on time, the sanding stage went fine, with a minimum of dust, staining the floor, also the first day. The two top coats were applied one coat each, over the next two ays. The finished job was worth the inconvenience, with the floors looking very pretty.

Informative on the phone. On time, to do the work. Prepared for the job and did it in an organized why. Obviously very experienced did a beautiful job.

I absolutely like them. Their people are easy to talk to, they even left the tools behind so that I could work on my stairs because if you added your stairs to be sanded and done the same way as your flooring, that'll cost you like a thousand dollars. They basically showed me how to do it and left the tools overnight so I could do it. They did a superb job across the board.

I had originally coordinated the job over the phone with Paul. On the day of arrival, his son showed up at our house along with an assistant worker. Before they arrived, I had prepared both rooms by removing the shoe moulding from the walls. The rooms were clean, and there wasn't any additional work to be done. I could tell that the guys weren't excited to be at my house, but what really hit me was when Paul's son said, "Great... We're going to be here all day..." This made me nervous because I was afraid his poor attitude would result in poor work. However, everything turned out fine. They sanded the floors and put down samples of a few different stains for me to compare. I chose English Chestnut (Minwax #233), which turned out beautiful. Before applying the stain, they wiped the floors with a damp cloth, which really brought out the wood grain. They came back each of the two days afterward to apply clear coat. There were a few noticeable blemishes in the clear coat after it dried, so I called Paul, and he sent his son back to fix them. Overall, the floors look great. Despite the poor attitudes, I would probably call them back if I needed additional work to be done. Tip: Thoroughly ventilate your entire house after the work is complete. We ran our clothes dryer shortly afterward, and the heating element must have burned some of the chemicals that were still in the air. We thought there was a problem with the dryer. but the burning smell went away after we properly ventilated the house. An appliance technician confirmed that there was nothing wrong with the dryer.

The old hardwood floor was severely gouged and badly stained overall. When they showed up to give me an estimate they assured me that they would be able to sand out most of it and indeed they did. They were honest about the stains and said that some of the staining would still be present but with the right color choice they would not be so apparent. I took their advise on this and I'm glad I did. They were right! The quality of work was spot on. They used methods that allowed them to work quickly and maintain quality. The price I think was fair. I am not someone that goes with the cheapest bidder as I'm a firm believer in that you get what you pay for. Specially when it comes to craftsmanship. I would not hesitate to use their services again and I highly recommend this company.

Great. The workers arrived at the scheduled time, spent about 3 to 4 hours on day 1 sanding, repairing a couple of damaged areas and refinishing the floors. The morning of day 2 a second coat of Urethane was applied and the job was complete. Now our 12 year old hard wood floor looks brand new again.

Great work, very professional, very prompt. One complaint-they never reinstalled the doors when they were done.

The tech was in and out in a day and a half. The 72 year old floors look brand new. Tech even did the hallway which I had told him to ignore at no additional cost. Great job.

We called for an estimate on Monday, they gave us a price and were able to complete the job by Friday of the same week. Did a great job.
