Couldn't really have gone better. Rob came out to give me an estimate, showed up on time. Gave me a few ideas of what options I had. Since two of my neighbors have dogs, he scheduled to keep the amount of time we didn't have a fence to a minimum. Scheduling was about three weeks out. Day 1 one of his crew members came and removed the old fence; Day 2, Rob came out with a crewman to set the posts. He let those set for a few days, and then one day when I came home from work, the fence was in. It looks outstanding, and I've gotten lots of compliments from the neighbors.

Rob came on time and very informative. When I accepted the bid, he scheduled the date for the work to begin. He was right on time and the work was done in a timely manner. The deck is exactly how I wanted it. He communicated regularly to make sure he was doing what I wanted. They did an excellent job and the clean-up was outstanding.

Rob Ward came over and explained his product, answered our questions, told us how long it would take, etc. He came back to do the work when he said he would(within a one week window that he had outlined)and we were satisfied with the results.

He did a good job. They were very timely and professional. He responded very promptly to an additional item that we needed him to take care of. What impressed us most about Rob was he actually installs the fence. He had a better understanding of what needed to be done than the salespeople from the other companies such as he recommending installing an additional reinforcement post, but the other companies did not.

He is very professional and does high quality work.

Rob gave me an estimate last spring that was very competitive but I decided not to have the work done until the fall. I called him back in September and he came out again to review the proposal, since I had made a few changes since he first came out. On both the visits (spring and fall) Rob was on time and very professional. He arranged for the utilities to come out and mark the area for utilities. The work was scheduled for October and it was done when promised and completed very quickly. It looks beautiful and I am very pleased. I would not hesitate to have Rob do future work for me.

They were great to work with. He told us what he was going to come out and do. He layed out the entire project and went over all of the details. He showed up when he said he would and did a great job with the work.

It was excellent. They performed the work and cleaned up after themselves. If it weren't for my like new fence, I wouldn't have known they had been there. The price was more than competitive. I had quotes from others as high as $2100.

We contacted Rob to get a quote. He came to our home and provided an estimate. Rob took the time to answer our questions, and got back with us when we telephoned with additional inquiries. I very much appreciated that he gave us a realistic, clear indication of the timing (as he was busy through the spring and summer). We gathered another quote for the same type of work. Backyard Solutions was by far the best value for the work. We are very pleased with the quality of the wood, construction, and value for the money. Rob and his assistant were very professional, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend Rob and his company to others. In fact, we inquired with him about potentially doing a deck for us in the upcoming springtime.

Although they did not do work for us, we had a very positive experience with them. Certainly when the time comes when we're able to do something we will contact them again.

Rob returned our call right away and scheduled an estimate. He showed up on time and walked the existing and proposed fence line while discussing our requirements for the job and his experience. We spoke on the phone and traded pictures by email a few times as we firmed up the job. Once things were set and scheduled, Rob and his crew again arrived on time and started work. Their execution followed exactly Rob's description of how the job would go. They started by removing a few hundred feet of existing chain link fence and set new posts in concrete. Once the posts were secure they built a cedar privacy fence board by board following the dips and hills of the property. The structure and quality of the finished fence exceeded our expectations. The remaining half of the job was building a wire (Red Brand) mesh fence with a drive-through gate with an opener, and two walk gates. The wire fence is solid and straight. Both fences are works of art. Also worth mentioning is Rob's and his crew's professionalism, work ethic, attention to detail, politeness, and kind, safe, comfortable tolerance of our 6-year old's "supervision." They left the entire work area clean and secure each night. Rob communicated the next step and established expectations all along. It was a pleasure to have an honest, rural Hoosier fence builder working for us. Without hesitation we unconditionally recommend Rob and Backyard Solutions. Our next project is building a deck. The job will go to Backyard Solutions.

The experience was excellent. The fact that he was responsive and the work was done with real high quality was great. He came back after the work was all done to make sure everything was okay.

Rob Ward is the salesman, designer, builder, everything! He is a joy to work with, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to about my ideas (which kept changing). It went very well. He is a very personable man. He actually came out to the house and look at the yard as opposed to over the phone. He explained himself and he knew what he was taking about and he liked what he does.

Rob was prompt in returning my calls for the estimate and was able to give us an estimate within a couple of days after the initial call. His estimate was about $1,500 less than two other estimates we received. He informed us right away that he was about 6 weeks out in installing fences, as this was the busiest time of the year. Once he started the installation, he finished the fence in both yards in exactly a week. The fence looks great and we are very happy that we used his company.

Quite well. It took some time to get started because of inclement weather and some already-contracted work, but once it was started it went smoothly and rapidly. Rob Ward was the lowest and best of 3 bidders, all approved by Angie's List.
