We contacted Rob Ward and asked him to give us a quote to remove our existing privacy fence and install a larger one. He came to our house, showed us the type of fences that he could install that would meet our HOA requirements and gave us the price to both remove the old fencing and install the new. We indicated that we would need to get written approval from our HOA before we could proceed and would contact him once it was received. 2 weeks later, after receiving approval, we contacted Rob and told him he could proceed with the removal and installation. He told us he would contact the service that would mark our utility lines and he would be available within a week to begin construction. Rob came out as planned, even though we were experiencing light rain, and removed the old fencing and installed the posts. This was on a Friday. It rained heavily over the weekend and into Monday moring but he came later on Monday morning with an assistant and completed the installation. They meticulously cleaned the area after the job was completed. Needless to say, we are delighted with our new fence. Rob Ward could not have been more professional or personable. Without hesitation we would strongly recommend him to anyone in need of fencing services. Thank you Rob!!

The company and workers were excellent. They installed a really good fence. They were very dependable. They showed up on time and I was amazed that they completed the job on time. Their craftsmanship was excellent. If there is a need, I would definitely use them again in the future too.

His was not the lowest price of the estimates we received; but we were so impressed by Rob we went with him. It was the right decision. Start to Finish overall a great experience. Rob is VERY knowledgeable and professional. We met to plan the project and Rob was able to put together an accurate and VERY fair quote at that same meeting. Rob kept me up to date informed throughout. The install started on the date promised, first removing the old fence. Installed the new fence in the same area in two days. Fence was tailored to fit the same area, including centering under an existing landscaped arbor. Each morning, showed up on time, worked very hard through the day and didn't leave any materials or mess behind. Gates work perfectly, and looks so much better than what we had before. An excellent job, I have no problem recommending this company.

It was a true pleasure to have Rob of Backyard Solutions to do a chain link fence at our home. He is fine small businessman in every sense of the word. He came to our home at a time that we could conveniently meet, without our having to take time off of work. His estimate was competitive and accurate. He was proactive in walking the fence line with us and had the best solutions to our questions and installation issues. He performed the installation himself at the agreed location for the fence and gates, thus there was no problem of incorrect placement after the boss left the job site. Rob Ward met with my husband and I to do the layout of the fence along sides and back of yard. Gave suggestions for the type of fence and layout. Rob does all the work on the fence/posts and yard was spotless when he left for the day. He came out to verify our plans before starting the work due to we made some minor changes after having the land surveyed. Excellent experience with Backyard Solutions. I contacted Rob Ward of Backyard Solutions and explained to him the work I needed done. He came out quickly and showed us the choices available along with his recommendations. After determining the scope of the job, he gave us a proposal that was extremely reasonable. He said he would call us within 2 weeks to put up the fence. In the interim he contacted the utility company representative who marked all electical, cable, gas and phone lines. He called within that time frame and on day one put in the posts. The cement needed to dry and as planned, he returned 2 days later and completed the fence work. He was very professional, did a fabulous job and cleaned up the area when done. We were delighted with the results. A BIG THANK YOU!!

EXCELLENT JOB! Very promptly came out to give an estimate, and very quickly and efficiently build and installed the fence. The price was better than any of the other quotes we received and the craftsmanship and materials were extremely high quality. Cleaned up spotlessly behind themselves! Very good experience! Rob was able to fit us in quickly (even during the busy summer months!). His crew was professional and they cleaned up the work area and even hauled away some branches/brush that were cut down during the fence installation. We just scheduled him to come out and finish up some fencing around a new patio - I know it will look great!

I had seen one of Rob's fences in our neighborhood it looked great called him for an estimate. He cam out in the evening to fit our schedule. We waited a few months and had Rob come back and change the layout and style of the fence. A week later our fence was up and it looks great. He responded promptly to all questions and concerns raised by wife or I. It is nice ot have a local business work on a project at our house. A++

Rob arrived to give the estimate, set the posts and complete the fencing exactly as he promised. Price was very competitive. The quality of the work is excellent.

Owner provided a comprehensive estimate and explanation of how he would address problem areas, like utility easements, connection to neighbors fences, working around large trees, gates security and blocking areas of neighbors fencing where our dog might slip under. He uses top quality cedar products, nails, etc. and personally digs all the post holes near power or utility lines to insure he doesn't hit anything. Great from start to finish. They tore out the old fence a week in advance to help out our neighbor in cleaning a space between our properties; put in the posts one day, and the entire fence was built in one day about three days after setting the posts. The fence is very sturdy and exactly what I was looking for.

Everything went great from the beginning. I dealt with Rob mainly through email and he responded in less than a business day, most of the time within an hour or two. The first time he came out was for an estimate and he was very personable, on time and professional. He was one of the few that wasn't afraid of my large dog. Once we got our subdivision approval he came out within a couple of days and marked the yard on a Friday. Monday they put the posts in and on Thursday they came out and finished it. The fence looks great and I couldn't be happier!

Everything was fantastic. The part took slightly longer to come in then originally anticipated. Because of this, Rob adjusted the quoted price-which was already much lower than other the quotes from other companies.

Rob came when he promised, and did exactly what he promised to do. The final look of the fence is exactly what we wanted. Wished we would have called him sooner.

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. The estimate came in much lower than either of the other ones I obtained, and I was given more choices in material and style. I got exactly the fence I wanted, installed well and quickly, and was extremely satisfied with the work and the entire experience. He also was able to come sooner than originally planned, for which I was very grateful. Most of all, he explained everything clearly and gave me what seemed to be the straight story about the work to be done and materials used. I was impressed by this company far above the other, bigger (and I believe, non-local) companies I talked to, and I highly recommend this company. We could not have asked for a better experience! We had obtained multiple estimates in 2008 for the fence project but needed to postpone until this year. We knew we wanted to use Backyard Solutions because of Rob's competitive quote, friendly attitude, attention to detail, and his superior quality of work. When we called him out for a revised estimate this year, we experienced the same level of professionalism. He and a helper did the job, and both were prompt and did a fantastic job all-around, including spotless cleanup. We wish we had done this project years ago, as we will finally be enjoying our backyard. I have already recommended Rob to several friends.

Rob was great to work with. He provided an accurate quote and came out a second time after I selected his firm to do the job to make sure that we were in complete agreement on the placement of gates, etc. He offered to work with my neighborhood association to get the design approved. He knows the meaning of service and does not use high pressure sales tactics.
