Juan did a great job for me, I always request him. He's always honest and I've used them for years.

They answered their phone, set up an appointment, were on time and did great work.

Super fast, great quality of product and service. I was willing to spend the extra money to get the quality I would from Appel. I had someone at my house within the hour from my original call. It was clear that the technician was quite knowledgeable. The installation was quick and the workers were flexible according to what I wanted. My only concern was that it seemed that the salesman and the service manager didn't have much contact. Overall, I would do the same again.

Nate was the only sales person to actually perform the heat gain/loss calculation. He confirmed my current air conditioner was over sized. The installers did a neat job, cleaned up after themselves, and were friendly.

We have been on a annual service contract with Appel for the past 4 years since we replaced our old air conditioner with a model they "highly recommended". This year when our AC was serviced, the tech told us our compressor "may" go out, but it was still under warranty for a another year and would cost $900 in labor to have the compressor installed. When I asked the service manager why the quote was so high he said, '"Well, we have to make more money on the labor since we won't be making any money on the part." I then asked if this meant he was not standing behind the product they recommended and installed. He replied, "Well, you could look at it that way". 2 weeks later in August, the compressor did fail. We called at 5:40 on Friday and were supposed to be priority because we had a service contract. The tech said he wouldn't come out until Saturday morning because he probably couldn't do anything. Another company came out, got the air running, and later replaced compressor for $445.

We have dealt with them for years and they were, as always, on time, polite, and reasonably priced.

I was under a service contract that was to receive 10% off for service. When I had to call them out for repairs on 2 occasions, I was never given the discount on site. I was given a credit the first time. The second time, I was told I would receive the amount. However, my heat pump needed replaced, and I choose to shop around for pricing. This item was not going to be included in my service contract anyway, so I chose to go with another company for the installation. And Scott refused to send me the 10% credit under the current agreement, due to the fact that I was obtaining equipment from a competitor, and I was then going to renew all of my service contracts with the new company. We had 2 units needing new equipment, and he could not work with us on pricing at all and the competitor did.

They are on the spot. They are reliable, and we are pleased with there work.

Our experience with this company has always been very good. They have always been able to come out the same day our air or furnace has broken. The service technicians are always neat and polite. They are very upfront with the costs and always ask before doing anything that will cost more than expected. They put in 3 lbs of coolant, at no charge, to get our unit working until they could get our coil and come back and replace it. I realize they are making money on the job but they didn't have to do that. I think this is a very reputable company.

Appel completed the job in two trips, which was expected based upon the uncertainty with the system. They were on time, answered all questions, and were very helpful. The price seemed a bit high, but the panel was expensive and they were working on-site for a total of about 8 to 9 hours.

Came the day we called and tried to fix the problem. The fan also needed to be replaced, so he came back the next day and completed the work. Called me at work to update me and gave me a detailed accounting for the bill. He also offered to look for a coupon in my phone book (which he found) giving me 10% off.

They were very prompt and got it fixed with no problems. Their service is pretty good.

The technician was on time and serviced both of our units. He told us one had a small freon leak and that it probably meant we would be needing a new unit at some point but that we could wait until we had problems. I thought he did a very balanced job of explaining our options with no push to replace the unit at this time since it's still working. I really appreciate knowing what the options are and what the pros and cons are as well as what to look for as trouble signs. (The price represents half of the heating and A/C total service contract for two units.)

They are just wonderful. They were here the day we called, and they worked it out so that the price was reasonable. Their service person explained what had happened and gave us advice for the future without trying to sell us anything we didn't need. A+++

The repairman was knowledgable and obviously knew his trade well.

He later called and apologized to me and offered me a discount for the next year?s maintenance on the unit which I accepted.

The only negative comment is that there was a lack of response in an emergency situation because it was a possible carbon monoxide problem.

The guy that came out was probably the best that we have ever had. He told us the furnace filters that we were using were wrong. Because the job was under warranty, we didn't have to pay for a majority of it. He went above and beyond by staying nearly 2.5 hours when he really didn't have to.

Responded quickly to call for lack of a/c. Service man was excellent and on time. Recommended replacement and salesman was there same day. Discussed options, scheduled promptly, and work was done without a glitch. Neat, professional. Applied service call to replacement work. Chose them over competitions because they could do a regular service call more quickly.

While they were servicing they did the most complete job I've ever had for servicing the air conditioner. They were very efficient and nice to work with.

It was great service. They were prompt and neat. I didn't have to clean up after them.

Both Nathan the salesperson and the two installers were very professional and polite. My phone call was returned promptly and Nate was out within 24 hours to give me a free estimate. The installers were on time. The installers were neat and left my home the way they found it. The a/c unit is working great.

Excellent customer service. When I called last Thursday, Judy told me that she would add me to their call list, and they would probably be able to get me in this week. On Tuesday morning they called and said they could have a tech at my house later that day. The technician Paul was efficient and personable. He was helpful and patient in explaining my options, and waited while I called about my home warrantee in order to make a more informed decision. He was very careful to give me detailed information about my options without pressuring me or making promises. I felt that he was honest and had my best interest in mind.

They came right away. It went very well. It took them one day.

They charged me what they said they would. It was worth the price. I appreciated that they came right away & did not wait until Friday or Monday.
