They were very good at contacting me, answering questions, and in execution. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

It went well. Arrival was promptly at 9:00 as expected. The work was performed well, and I was told everything in detail about what was done, the condition of the furnace, and how to keep things running well. I have been thinking about buying a better furnace filter because of pets and allergies. The gentleman (sorry can't remember his name right now) seemed to know everything about them and recommended what he thought would be best, not just most expensive. He seemed very trustworthy and answered all my questions.

The air flow was not properly installed on the heat pump. The next company said that the heat pump was a cheap part and they would not recommend using it.

The gentlemen arrived on time and introduced themselves. I showed them to the furnace and they began to work. The second person was learning how to clean and service an oil furnace. The mentor took his time to explain the system and each item that was performed on the system. Cleaned up when they were done working and checked the furnace to ensure that it worked as it should. I will definitely use this company again.

A service tech arrived at our house within an hour, quickly identified the problem as a clogged drain and immediately fixed it. While he was there, he performed the routine preventive maintenance on the air conditioning units, eliminating the need to set up a separate appointment for that service. Also, since the visit out to our house included the preventive maintenance, there was not a separate charge to have the tech diagnose and fix the problem with the air conditioning. We only needed to pay for parts. The original owners of our house put a pretty large addition on at one point, so our house has two furnaces and two A/C units and one humidifier to handle the heating and cooling needs. The price listed above was what we pay each year for preventive maintenance on both systems.

Excellent. Easy to make an appointment. Serviceman arrived on time and was professional, courteous, and informative. As a result of this positive experience, we have signed an annual maintenance agreement with this company.

Our air went out in the middle of a hot summer day. We called about 4:50 pm to schedule a service call. We were told they had extended their hours due to the extremely hot summer and could come out between 6 and 7:00 pm that night. They showed up when they said, replaced the capacitor, and we slept in a cool house that night.

They are very, very good. I always ask for the same guy, Paul even though the other guys are more than capable of doing the job. They are not expensive and are extremely responsible for the quality of work.

They were very responsive to my emails and phone calls despite the fact that I was coordinating this install from overseas. The A/C unit and the air filter are performing as described by the Appel representative. They worked hard to put this installation into what must be a busy schedule given the hot temperatures in July. The technician arrived early in the morning as he said he would. All work done was very professional and neat. They did not provide the lowest estimate that I recieved for the same work. However, their commitment to my schedule won them my business. The quality of the work done gives me no regrets for choosing them. Overall, very satisfactory.

It was great. The serviceman took a nice amount of time with me, explaining and showing me things. This service was on a contract that had been paid for already by the previous owners of the house we just recently bought. That's why we had Appel handle the service. I think we'll renew the contract with them.

The service representative was courteous, prompt, and explained everything. He was thorough and efficient. He showed me exactly what was wrong and how to prevent this particular problem in the future.

The estimate price for the work was competitive with the winning bid, and the timing for the work would have been good, but we felt the winning bid had a little better quality of both the work and the equipment. The referrals seemed to be really high on the winning bid.

Very professional, did a great job and they were wonderful to work with. Cleaned up beautifully and checked everything out. We had a question about the thermostat on the wall and they came out right away to take care of it. The sales person came back to follow up with us.

The receptionist was very nice and attentive. I told her that we didn't need someone immediately due to the cooling weather, but she was able to have someone come out first thing the next morning. The gentleman did a service check, stating several times that there was definitely something wrong with it. He performed every check and test and found nothing wrong. I mentioned several times that the freon was low last year by 1.5 lbs. He couldn't find that the pressure was low. From what I am now understanding, he did not record the AC pressure check due to the cool weather (he ran one, I was with him at the time). So, needless to say, one week later the same problem occurred. I called Appel and had them come out again. This time a different gentleman ran the AC pressure check and said we were 1.5 pounds low on freon. Amazing. They only charged $22 for the freon on the second visit. Under the circumstances there may not have been much more they could do the first time.
