They did a great job. I feel confident going back to this company. It is hard to find such a good company. I will definitely use them again.

There were a few little kinks in the installation. They were responsive in coming out to resolve any issues. We continue to use them for maintenance. We are working on a long term relationship with them, we have been happy with their services so far.

I love them. It was 90 degrees out and I had no air conditioning. They were kind enough that they sent me out to sit in their van to be in the air conditioning while they worked on my a.c. Considering where my heat pump is, they have to work in a very tight space. They are great. I have also had them back last summer to do the same thing, I spent around $700 there.

They are reliable and easy to schedule with. We like their off-season plan pricing. I have been a customer for several years.

Our furnace broke at 10.00 at night. We placed a call for emergency service and left a message with their answering service. Received a prompt return call from the repair man. Service was great. He was able to put a temporary fix on it till the part could be ordered the next day. Received a call first thing the next morning and were at our house by 9:15 a.m. with part. Both times they should up earlier than they said possible. When does that ever happen. Totally pleased with the service received from Appel.

Our furnace and a/c were 20 years old and, with all the rebates and tax credits, we decided to explore replacing our old unit(s). Contacted Appel (who has provided service on our equipment both at our current and previous home for over 25 years) and requested a quote. Scott Appel arrived at our appointment on time and then spent a lot of time looking over our current set-up and explaining the various options available to us. He also offered his professional opinion as to which unit to select based on the fact that we do not intend to be in the house more than 3 years. Installation took place on the scheduled day (in spite of the snow storm) and was completed in a neat, efficient, professional manner. Pricing was almost exactly the same as another quote we received. Appel was selected because of our previous positive experiences and because they are locally owned family company that will stand behind their work. Would highly recommend.

I have an annual contract with them. They are excellent. They are very polite and the price is good. They sometimes turn up a bit late.

We have been really happy with them and they have been very good. We have a service agreement with them. I think it's the one time charge that we pay, they come out to do the servicing and the large steps are free. They are very punctual and they seem to know what they are doing. We haven't had any problems with our heating and air conditioning and it's been good so far.

They were very good. The warranty covered the charge. They came out within a few hours after I called them and fixed the problem.

We signed up for the yearly plan and they have been good. They are nice and helpful.

Their service is exceptional. We've had some issues and they've responded within an hour! They came out on New Years Eve when our furnace quit working and then came out again the next day when we had a problem as well. This wasn't due to anything they did, but a recall from the manufacturer.

He was helpful and tried getting it working without changing the part but was unsuccessful.

They are fine. They are responsive and punctual. I would use their service again in the future.

They are not a new company. We have a yearly contract with them so they come out to check the furnace and make sure everything is functioning and doing well in the winter and late fall. They come out in spring to check the air conditioning system. They check the heat pump and everything else that needed to be checked as far as heating and cooling system is concerned. We have always been satisfied with them. We have used them for many years.

I think they service well, but their prices on the new equipment is to high. I have purchased 3 air conditions and a furnace and have found their prices on the furnaces very expensive. Their work and responsiveness is very acceptable as well as their professionalism. I like this company's service and will continue to use them in the future.

The installer arrived at 8:30AM, and was very responsive to my questions and concerns about the installation process. His name was Tony, and the entire replacement took a little longer than he expected, but it was done well (as verified by Mr. Scott Appel in a follow-up visit), and the job was complete by 3PM. Tony was careful not to track dirt into the home, cleaned the work area (basement) around the newly installed furnace, and 'before and after' digital pictures were recorded for review by his supervisor. Appel Heating and Air Conditioning is a family owned business that relies on it's reputation for providing excellent equipment and service over it's 60+ year successful history. Mr. Appel is and should be, proud of his employees good work, and the fact that his Company has a 10 year history of qualifying for Angie's List-Excellence Awards. I think it is important to note that our country is in a recession, and family owned small businesses are challenged along with the families and businesses that they serve. Appel gets my vote for another year on Angie's List-Excellence Awards.

They did a good job. We had a problem with it leaking and they came back immediately and fixed it. We have had no problems with it since. They were very responsive.

Everything has been excellent. They service our units quarterly, and are always prompt, efficient, and honest. They are meticulous, and we have been very happy with our maintenance agreement with them.

Nathan was very professional and prompt. His quote was about 10% higher than others (all had a rating of "A" on Angie's List) for an equivalent product. I elected to go with a competitor's quotaton.

I started using Appel Heating & Air Conditioning when I first bought my house. Paul is the second or third technician I had and I have always asked for him ever since. He is a great guy. He does a great job. He explains what he does. He is really up-front.

They are reliable, they are pleasant to be around, and they always clean up their messes.

They came on time and did a good job for us. We will use them again in the future.
