The owner had us come in on a weekend. He helped my husband carry the rug in from the car, measured it, and confirmed that the Angie's List Big Deal I purchased covered the entire fee to clean our large rug. It was ready in two weeks and is absolutely beautiful! Good work guys!

great job- Scott did a wonderful job explaining the services, moved light furniture and did a great job. Steve was responsive, professional easy to work with. Quickly got back to me when they needed to change dates due to weather.

We spoke on the phone and I told him about the tile cleaning I needed done in my shower, and he was polite, yet firm in saying that the Big Deal did not cover shower grout cleaning.

I purchased a group discount coupon for this company. I was very happy with the service. It was a couple weeks from the time I called before I could get an appointment, which I was a little disappointed about, but the service was good. He came out on time and cleaned the carpets in about 45 minutes. I was offered additional services but wasn't pressured when I declined. The carpets were very clean and I was given a free bottle of spot treatment for future use. I was very satisfied an would use them again.

This was an Angie's Big Deal, and was for grout cleaning. The provider was located a fair distance from where we live, but since there was no geographic limitation on the Deal, we purchased it and the provider honored it. It took a while to set up the appointment, due to response to the offer and the distance from the provider. As indicated in our ratings, Action was on time, did an excellent job in an efficient manner and timely manner. Completely satisfied with the work and the handling of the entire process.

I purchased the Angie;s List deal for $99.00. Anyone who purchases this deal should expect to pay more. The room sizes they specify are pretty small so any extra square feet you have to pay for. With the deal though they charge you half the price they normally do per square foot. He did an excellent job but when I asked him to be more thorough on the stairs he was not very happy. In the end it was one of the top cleanings I have ever had (and I have had probably 10). I would use them again with the Angie's List deal but not if I had to pay full price because another guy I use I find to be just as good and I typically pay him around $280.00.

Nothing more to say. He was very professional and did a good job. He did forget to give me a bottle of spot remover--I also forgot about it but made a phone call and was told he would send it to me and followed up with a phone call.

In our opinion, we were grossly overcharged for this service. Although the basement was 900 sq ft approx, it is basically one large room with minimal furniture. We, unfortunately, did not ask for an estimate prior to the cleaning. This company had cleaned our upstairs using a Angie's list coupon of 4 rooms for $99.00. The owner/operator did not mention the substantial price differential when I asked about cleaning the basement and I was not home when the work was done. Both my husband and I talked to Steve, who did both cleanings and he would not admit to the gross overcharging. He did offer substantial discounts, almost "free" future cleanings, but I will never hire this company or recommend them--quite the opposite actually. Thank you, Julia Davies

Fantastic service! Have used the "bigger chains" in the past and will never go to them again. Steve and Alan were terrific. They arrived early, were very courteous and pleasant. We have a larger town house and had 2 set of stairs, dining room, study and oversize basement family room so we knew that it was going to be over the Angie's Deal price. Worth it!!! As we were still moving some stuff out of the way down stairs Steve just said not to worry about it. That they would help with the big stuff. I had a few sets of furniture sliders and so sliding the coffee table, sofa and large chair out of the way was no issue. It was Alan's first day and I think we were his first clients. It was nice to over hear the courtesy and professionalism that Steve treated him with as well. You can always tell a person by the way they speak to their employees. Needless to say, my husband and I will be recommending this company to all of our friends and we will never use the "bigger chains" again. Smaller and family owned is definitely the way to go. Steve, the owner, made room on his busy calendar to fit me in on a Saturday morning with very short notice. He was exactly on time arriving to our home and was very professional. Following the cleaning, I had noticed a couple of spots that didn't come out. I called Steve and he was at my door within 10 minutes to remedy the problem areas. Simply fantastic customer service. The only "issue" - and it's not really an issues - is that his prices are a bit higher than the competition. That said, it was worth every penny and I highly recommend Steve. Our couches - from many years of dog drool - were quite disgusting. When Steve left, they looked like we bought them yesterday. Amazing.

I was excited to grab one of Angies "Big Deals." I had planned on getting 3 rooms of carpet cleaned AND deodorized for $119, which for a pet owner with a dog who doesn't want to be house broken this was amazing. I contacted the provider, Steve, via email and he was quick to get back to me to schedule a date. Though it was a little strange because then he wrote me back about a day and a half later asking if he had gotten back to me. That was nice of him to double check, but I kind of wondered if he ever even wrote my appointment down then. But--all good. I purchased the "Big Deal" on August 2, 2011 and we were scheduled for August 29, 2011 at 9am. A little longer than I wanted to wait, but I figured this was such a great rate there must be a long line! So, August 29 rolls around. Steve was 20 minutes late. When I answered the door he had a very poor attitude. He did not even say hello, but said he was disappointed I didn't have a driveway and that "Big Deal" specified I needed one. I offered him the use of my garage which is closer to my house, but he stated his truck wouldn't fit. He did come in the house and measure some rooms. He told me that I had "oversized" rooms and that 2 of the 3 areas I requested to have cleaned would be counting as 2 rooms each. He did go back to his truck to see if he could make things work but came back pretty quickly and said he wouldn't be able to perform the services. For the record, I have a pretty typical suburban, single family home. Granted my living room and family room are larger than bedrooms, but they are not usually large for my regional area. When I called Angie's List to get a refund the person who took my call reviewed the original "Big Deal" ad with me, as I told her I don't recall anything about a driveway and wouldn't have purchased the "Big Deal" if I knew I couldn't meet the specifics on my end. The text stated "must be available street parking" and later said "no street." There was no actual mention of a driveway. I guess I was confused on what he was looking for, so I can take responsibility for my own confusion. But I do have available free street parking so I thought we would be good. Steve did not ever call or email to confirm the appointment therefore we never had an opportunity to discuss the driveway issue or even the size of my rooms. I assumed he could do the job as other carpet cleaners I have had have been able to without issue. Accidents and miscommunications happen, but I don't think there is ever any excuse to be 20 minutes late or have a rude attitude towards a customer. Even though I can't comment on the work they provide, I would still NOT recommend this company just based on customer interaction. I would like to say, however, Angie's List was incredibly accommodating. I was refunded immediately and they helped locate other carpet cleaners in my area who provide coupons as a way to help solve this situation. THEY have excellent customer service! They were apologetic (though it certainly was not their fault) and found ways to problem solve with an extremely pleasant attitude.

I signed up for this company's services with an Angie's List Big Deal to have my kitchen and a couple of bathroom floors cleaned and sealed. When I made the appointment, Steve mentioned that they shampooed rugs, too, but I declined because we have hardwood floors and rugs only on two staircases. After a couple of days of thinking about it, though, I decided to have them cleaned, too, because they were super dirty and would be worth the extra charge to get them looking better, though I had no hope of much change. Steve (owner) called the morning of the appointment and came a little early because he'd had a cancellation. He wore booties and was very careful not to ding anything or leave any mess behind. He scrubbed all the grout , twice in some stubborn places, then sealed it. After he finished, there was a film on the tiles, which he explained was easy to mop off once it dried completely. He was right. I used a damp sh-mop and then the floors sparkled. He did a wonderful job on the carpets. One staircase looks like new and the other (basement one) looks way better. It's inexpensive carpeting and never seems to give up the dirt completely, but he got it looking much better than it had. He explained to me the method they use at their shop for cleaning area rugs, and if we decide to have ours cleaned, I'd definitely send them to him. He left nothing behind for me to clean up except for the film on the tile; he did a fine job all around, was professional and careful, and I'd recommend his services without reservation.

Service was excellent. I purchased a special coupon from the Angie's List website for $99. The coupon covered most of the cost. There was an extra cost for stairs (which was explained when the coupon was purchased) and I chose to add carpet protector to the service. Each step was explained before it was completed. Carpet was vacuumed, cleaned, and protector added. Service was completed in an efficient manner. Steve was courteous and friendly.

I live in an area where parking is difficult to come by, so I made sure the company had a place to park at my home. He contacted me and told me traffic was bad and needed to reschedule, but he didn't think he wanted to come back to my home. He told my husband he had to get off the call because he had somewhere else to be, which did not make sense because he had an appointment at my house.

It was a smooth and professional service, I am happy!

Steve was courteous and friendly; answered my original phone call right away (important to me because I find that leaving a message and having to wait for a call-back is very annoying, especially if it ends up in playing phone-tag); and called to confirm. The work was done quickly, and the results were great. The floor looks practically brand new, and considering that it is primarily white tile and white grout, and I haven't had it sealed or professionally cleaned in 10 years, that's impressive. I've tried cleaning it myself over the years, but I could not find a product that did a very good job, and its hard to find the time and energy to scrub 380 sq ft of grout on your hands and knees with a grout brush the size of a toothbrush. I don't know how the price compares to other places because I did not shop around - I took advantage of one of Angie's List's Deals.

He came in do to the carpet cleaning as part of the Big Deal for three rooms. He pretty much didn’t want to move any furniture at all. I realize that the Big Deal didn’t cover the moving of furniture, but he wouldn’t even help me move a chair. I spent a lot of time unhooking my computer so he could clean around that. I also removed some loose items and things so furniture could be move. He ended up leaving without performing the service at all. It was a complete waste of my time.

Very well, good. Called a couple times set up an appt. He showed up, came in and went straight to work. Very nice experience.

I was very pleased with the entire project. Steve explained what he was going to do and how the long the project would take. I was having the grout cleaned and sealed on my kitchen and laundry room floor. The project took a little over an hour. I was delighted with the results. Steve also cautioned me to be careful walking on the floor before it was completely dry as it could be slippery. There was a little residue left on the floor that would easily be removed with the first washing. I used a steam mop which quickly removed any residue.

Very friendly and professional. Entire process took about 90 minutes. Floor had not been originally sealed 16 years ago, so there was a lot of dirt to clean with the grout. The entire process was explained step by step. Very thorough job, including down on hands and knees to make sure the area was done and dried. We are extremely pleased with the results.

We signed up for the "Big Deal" and were looking forward to getting our kitchen tile/grout cleaned. When we called Action Cleaning Systems they said they were unable to perform the service because we didn't have a driveway which was a requirement from the fine print. We live in a single family home in a very nice upscale neighborhood. Although we don't have a driveway we have a large two car garage and ample street parking in front of our house < 20 feet from entrance (with daily passes). Both residents work from home and could easily monitor/secure their equipment all day from the front porch. Regardless, they refused to take the work. There was no flexiblity what so ever on their part and wasn't willing to discuss any further on the call. Guess they don't need your business that bad. BUYER BEWARE... if they are this unflexible to take on perfectly good work, who knows how they would perform the job and what headaches you might encounter if something did go wrong. Weak!

They came, did a great job and we have no complaints. The special they were running was phenomenal.

Steve and staff came in and assessed the areas; pre-treating where necessary. They were able to get out several of the major stains which I have not been able to get out at all. They were thorough and diligent in getting directly to work and completing the job quickly. They did an amazing job! Highly recommended. Friendly; great customer service.

Action Cleaning Systems was on time as scheduled. The work was done professionally and competently. This was an exceptional experience for me. High quality work, very professional and helpful staff, and at a reasonable rate.
