Description of Work: I couldn't be happier with my decision to use Georgetown Decks to replace my old deck. I am a construction novice, but Tom came out and thoroughly explained every aspect of the process. We discussed options to use and I decided on a Trex deck. Georgetown Decks secured all the permits necessary with the village. The crew assigned to my deck was excellent. They were professional and courteous. My project was completed in only four days. Corey called me several times during that time to make sure I was completely satisfied as the work progressed. It was that personal touch that convinced me I had chosen a good company. I now have a beautiful deck that is the envy of my neighbors!

Description of Work: Georgetown Decks was a great company to work with. Not only did they build us a beautiful deck, but they were easy to work with and very professional through the entire process. Timing of the completion was a deal-breaker for us and not only did they guarantee our timing, but they came ahead of schedule and finished sooner than expected, despite some uncooperative weather. Tom and Corey were very pleasant to deal with and the crew on our job was really great - very professional and very skilled. They took the time to ask questions to make sure things were done to our satisfaction. I would use them again and certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful deck and a great company to work with.

Description of Work: My existing wood deck was rotting in places and was not very functional. Tom came out to look at the space and measure (right after Super Bowl Sunday when we had that huge snowstorm!) and came up with a great design. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to use wood or composite. Tom detailed the pros/cons of both options and priced everything individually so I could choose to do a mix if I wanted to do so. In the end, I went with Trex for everything and I am so glad I did. Their pricing was fair and the materials are superior. Their crew was excellent. They were on time and courteous. They maintained an orderly worksite and finished on schedule. When I called in late January I said I wanted the deck finished before May 1. Luckily the weather cooperated and they were able to have my deck completed by the middle of April! I have had several parties already this summer and everybody loves my new deck. It is beautiful, it is functional and it is a wonderful place to gather with family and friends. I look forward to many years of fun - and no maintenance! Corey and Tom are a great team and are very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend their services and am so thrilled with everything.

Description of Work: I needed a new front porch, and wanted to use Trex. The job included tear down and removal. What none of us expected was the concrete steps and pad under the old wood porch. The crew managed to work around that with very little delay. What did cause the job to stretch out was weather, and the inspector arriving much later than expected. Still, the guys finished about a day late. And it's beautiful - exactly as I wanted.

Description of Work: I never got an email as promised. I got to say I was not impressed by the sales person. When he showed me a picture of what he was talking about (gazebo) I asked to look thru and he said well we will talk later and it was as if he wanted to leave and did not want me to look thru the book. After salesperson left we said to ourselves (husband and I) we would not want him to do the job. As of this date Georgtown Construction never got back with us. WAS NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL WITH THIS COMPANY IF HE DID NOT WANT THE JOB AT LEAST CALL BACK TO LET US KNOW DON'T LEAVE UP HANGING.

Description of Work: Got an estimate for a new deck. Working with them was very good, they were very professional, punctional, and had lots of good suggestions to help me through the whole process. Although, I went with another installer, it was really a toss-up between them, and I would'nt hesitate to go with Georgetown in the future.

 + -1 moreGeorgetown Decks tore down our old wood deck and build a new Trex deck for us. Corey and Tom were very professional and responsive. Tom came out to give us a quote in June. He spend a lot of time helping us decide what exactly we wanted and could afford. Georgetown's prices were competitive and we were very impressed with their responsiveness. (One company that came out to give us a quote, never contacted us with a price and wouldn't even return our calls.) In July, the old deck was taken down in one day and the new deck was completed within a week's time. They even sent workers on a Saturday because they were falling behind schedule with other clients. The quality of the work was excellent and the workers were courteous and very professional. After the deck was completed, Corey followed up to see if we were satisfied and to ask if there were any issues or questions. We had one minor thing that we needed taken care of. I think it had to do with an old post that they had missed digging out, but the foreman was in the area while I was on the phone with Corey and the issue was literally being addressed as I was hanging up the phone. We received excellent service and quality workmanship at a competitive price. We couldn't be happier with our new deck. We hope to add a gazebo to the deck in the future and we will definitely be calling Georgetown.
Description of Work: Georgetown tore down our old, rotting wooden deck, dug up the old posts and hauled away the old material. They dug holes and poured cement for new posts. Knowing that we would eventually like to add on a gazebo, they accounted for that in planning the new deck and putting in new posts. They then build the new deck using Trex. They moved the existing stairway in from one side to make the deck even with the side of the house plus to allow for the growth of a maturing tree.
