The installation went very well. The installer came in and within a day everything was installed, set-up, and ready-to-go.

They are excellent. They are one of the best alarm companies that I have ever dealt with. He came in and even took his shoes off. He knew exactly what he was doing, and the prices are very reasonable.

I couldn't be more happy. Steve gave me a quote last spring and after putting off a decision, I called him again this winter to talk to both my husband and myself. We chose him because he seems so committed to satisfied customers and is a small company that can give personal attention. He and an employee installed the system over 2 days. Steve actually spent a couple of hours in a cold workspace on his back so that he could feed a line up through our wall to get the control panel to a height that I requested. He was able to install motion sensors that do not give false alarms despite our having a large dog that jumps on the furniture. He was very patient in explaining the system and giving us options. His incredible customer service was evident on a night after the system was installed, but before we had become active with the monitoring company. I accidentally set off the alarm but didn't think anything of it as we were just practicing with the system. Five minutes after the alarm went off (at 10pm), Steve called to see if I was ok since he knew my husband was out of town. Even though we weren't officially hooked up yet, the monitoring company had let him know about the alarm and so he called. This to me was amazing. It just confirmed to us our choice of Universal.

The owner, Steven, was incredibly responsive from the start, which (along with references) is the main reason we chose the company over another security company, even though the price was somewhat higher. I met with Steven and his technician several times to discuss placement of sensors and all of his advice was consistent with my own research. The installation was done in two phases - first replacing the wired equipment that was already in the house, and then adding additional wireless. All appointments have been kept on time, and all work done as promised and when promised. Example of responsiveness: We had one programming problem at 8:30 p.m. Although we didn't view it as that urgent, Steve's office insisted on paging him, and he immediately returned our call.

It was nice to be able to lease the equipment instead of purchasing, which is good for renters.

IT WAS A FABULOUS EXPERIENCE TO DEAL WITH AN HONEST TECHIE WHO REALLY KNOWS HIS BUSINESS. HE DID ABOUT 1 1/2 HRS. WORK FOR FREE AND SAVED US THE $1,500 FOR A NEW SYSTEM! OBVIOUSLY, IT IS HIS GAIN AS WE ARE SWITCHING OUR ALARM MONITORING OVER TO HIS COMPANY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND UNIVERSAL SECURITY.

STEVE IS HIGHLY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL. HE CLEARLY AIMS TO BUILD A LOYAL CLIENTELE.

THEY HAVE DONE WORK FOR A NUMBER OF NEIGHBORS AND COME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. WERE VERY PROMPT, THOROUGH AND COMPETITIVELY PRICED. MUCH BETTER SERVICE THAN A MAJOR COMPETITOR. THEIR SERVICE IS VERY RESPONSIVE AND RELIABLE. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

STEVE IS PHENOMENAL. HE COMES ON TIME, EVEN MAKING EXTRA CALLS OUT OF HIS WAY TO DROP OFF ITEMS OR STOP IN ON QUICK ITEMS. HE HAS EXTREMELY HIGH QUALITY STANDARDS AND REPLACES EXISTING ITEMS THAT AREN'T UP TO CODE. ON THE FEW OCCASIONS ONE OF HIS SENSORS HAS FAILED, HE HAS SHOWN UP IMMEDIATELY TO REPLACE IT (AT NO CHARGE) WITH APOLOGIES AND APLOMB. MONITORING SERVICE HAS BEEN CONSISTENTLY OUTSTANDING: RESPONDS IMMEDIATELY TO ALARMS, CALLS ALL ASSIGNED NUMBERS, ETC. STEVE IS EXTREMELY POLITE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND PERSONABLE. HIS ALARM SYSTEMS GUARD ANTIQUITIES IN AT LEAST ONE MUSEUM, AND WE ARE GLAD TO HAVE THEM GUARDING US.
