Bob and I had a hard time hooking up, but he continued to keep in touch, always got back to me. When he did finally come out, he looked over everything and concluded that an attic fan would not work for us.

Everything worked out well. I was very happy with them and purchasing the coupon worked out well with Angie’s List.

Bob was very cordial and early for our appointment. He inspected the attic space that I thought could use a fan and told me that I do not need a fan installed, but side vents for the space would do. I felt very comfortable with him and he was very nice. Would have been happy to use him if my house would have accommodated it.

It was great. There was additional costs but I'm not sure of the amount. They came out the end of May to do the work. They were so nice and helpful. It's a normal temperature in our upstairs level now. It was too warm and too cold in our house.

Great. Bob called me promptly and set up the installation for 3 days later. He arrived on time and finished the work on schedule. No hiccups or drama. He upgraded us to R49 or better in our attic and cleaned up afterward. He is an honest guy who did a great job. What more could you ask for? I would definitely recommend North Shore Insulation and would use them again.

I bought the big deal and Bob contacted me with dates. He came over on 5/5 and did the insulation. Because I needed 1200 ft of insulation the total cost was $840 instead of $650. Professional job and excellent cleanup.

It went well overall. Bob (the owner) did the work himself and knew what he was doing. He was quick, clean and helpful. Found a few areas in our attic that need attention and gave his recommendations on fixing them.

I am quite honestly amazed at the level of service that Bob provided. He checked that all of the soffet vents were properly installed, then re-routed two and installed a third exhaust fan vent hose. After installing an additional 12 inches of blown in insulation, increasing my attic insulation to R-49, he made sure that the back of the attic access panels were insulated. He then cleaned up so well you wouldn't know he'd been here. Bob was responsive, punctual and professional. On the day of the scheduled work, he even called to let me know he would be 30 minutes late arriving. Who does that any more? .Overall, a great job. I would not hesitate to recommend North Shore Insulation

Bob was awesome. He worked with my schedule to find a convenient time where I was available and the weather was favorable to put in blown insulation ( I am at a comfy R50 now) as well as an attic fan. I also asked him to check out bathroom vent ducting and he happily added the insulated ducting I had at a surprisingly reasonable fee. Clean, courteous, professional - I would happily recommend North Shore Insulation to anyone.

I did not end up using them only because I need to get my crawlspace insulated at the same time. If they offered that service I think I would have went with him. I have already referred him to a friend as I think he would probably do a good job.

All work was performed on time, in a professional manner and for a reasonable price. All work areas were cleaned and left in good condition. I would highly recommend North Shore Insulation to anyone. Robert was a real professional and performed work beyond what was expected. I did get multiple quotes for this work and felt that he would be the best for the most reasonable price. He did a great job! I am having him back to replace some exhaust fans which need to be replaced.

Excellent. I couldn't ask for anything more. Purchased the 1,000 sqft deal and paid for the extra 200 sqft required to fill my whole attic. All prep details were explained to me before the work began. Tarp was laid out on my floors. Took about 3 1/2 hours from beginning to end. Great job cleaning up. I will for sure use NSI again (or recommend to friends/family) if I ever need insulation work again. A+

This contractor is honest, competent, and priced reasonably. Bob of Northshore Insulation did not hesitate to tell me which of my insulation requests were OK and which he thought were not cost effective. He turned down some work telling me that the cost would not be recovered in lower utility bills. He did insulate my attic, installed guards for the soffit vents, and cleaned up afterwards. Where attic sidewall insulation had come loose, in installed new insulation at no extra cost. He is an excellent person to deal with.

It went great! Bob was in and out quickly. Insulation can be messy, but Bob left no mess. He cleaned up perfectly. Overall a great job and I'd recommend him to any friends or family who need extra insulation added.

Robert was great to work with. We quoted two other companies, and his was by far the best cost for the same work. We had the insulation done over the summer, so it took awhile to get scheduled with him because it was a busy time. However, he very clearly communicated everything and kept us in the loop, so it was worth the wait. Our house has definitely stayed warmer during this record-setting winter.

They called me and explained what he was doing. He scheduled the appointment and came out exactly on-time. Our tenants are happy and the insulation is great.

He prepped the space first by making sure the soffit vents were clear, then blew in 12 inches of pink fiberglass insulation. I know it has made a difference because all of our neighbors have icicles on their gutters from the melting of the two feet of snow we have received, and we also used to get ice dams in our gutters and melting snow on our roof, but not any more, even in temps of -15*C.

Everything went quickly and smoothly. Bob arrived in the time window he promised and worked very efficiently. He seemed knowledgeable and thorough. I recommend this company.

They installed blown-in insulation in my attic. It all went very well and everything was cleaned up afterwards.

Bob, did a great job. Called promptly and scheduled an appointment. Shared ahead with me what the deal included, how long it would take and what was involved in the process. He also told me what he would be looking for in terms of possible problems and how those issues could be resolved. He followed up on a time change and arrived when scheduled. He laid tarps down, covered his shoes and showed me some of the current problems with the old insulation being matted down and checked the recessed lighting for proper code to be in contact with the insulation. Finished in around 3 hours and vacuumed up any insulation lying around from the work. Also shared with me the process and paperwork required to receive an energy rebate from the government.

Bob (from North Shore Insulation) arrived shortly after 10 a.m. and began setting up his tarps immediately. He began working steadily from the outset. After laying several tarps on my floor, stairs and carpets, Bob was ready to attack my attic. He readily saw the baffles needed to be replaced and a barrier constructed around our whole house fan. He quickly resolved these issues and strung many feet of tubing in my driveway and onto my porch roof then into a window on the second floor. When he prepared the Owens-Corning Pro Pink 77 insulation in his truck and turned on his machine, the insulation quickly flowed through the tubes and into my attic. Bob showed me his work a couple times during the process. He hung "rulers" in my attic to easily show the depth of the insulation. I was pleased to see the insulation was Owens-Corning Pro Pink 77 since this is the exact insulation I desired ....and Bob told me he uses regularly. I consider this insulation as "the good stuff." Bob gave me a tour of his machine operation and how the entire process works. Bob also noticed I have a small space above my garage where he added Pro Pink 77 ....FREE of charge! Additionally, Bob affixed a piece of Pro Pink to the back side of my attic entrance so as not to disturb the insulation he had just added. This, too, was done FREE of charge! The entire insulation project was completed in about three hours. The work was thorough and professionally completed by a "master craftsman." I highly endorse Bob Kormos for anyone needing attic insulation. I had several insulators provide me with their quotes but NONE were as impressive as Bob! In fact, Bob's price was hundreds of dollars lower than most competitors. He saved me $2000. over a couple competitors' prices! Again, if anyone needs their attic insulated, you simply can't beat Bob Kormos from North Shore Insulation ....PERIOD!
