Gabe's crew was very prompt, courteous the whole time. I had to leave while the install was going on and when I returned it was done and they had cleaned up and it was a great experience.

The estimate was originally 3k, but once the roof removal began Gabe's people found out that the previous owners only removed the 3 layers of shingles from mid-roof down. Due to faulty application of the previous roof, moisture & rot got under the shingles & the entire roof had to be redone. Everyone was very nice to work with. The cleaned the worksite to a point that you couldn't even tell they had been there. I was so pleased with the roof that I used them for my replacement windows. They are competitive in prices and no one can surpass their work.

Gabe's salesman came to the house and gave us an estimate, but we decided to go with someone else. We received the same if not better quality windows at a lower price.

Great experience Overall and nothing bad to say. About a year and a half ago they installed a new sliding patio door, and repaired gable vents on the ends of our house. After 3 estimates we chose Gabe's because of their professionalism and cost, they were slightly cheaper than one estimate and more than half the cost of another one. We have been very pleased with the decision to use Gabes, the gables look great and have double protected now to prevent critters from getting in. Sliding door looks great, had a little issue when the handle coming loose, once they were notified they were out quickly to repair. Haven?t had any issues since, have a great, high quality door. About 6 months ago we requested only 2 different bids, since we were on a time crunch, for a roof job on a house we had for sale. Again their estimate was about half the cost of the other estimate and offered a better quality product with more warranty. We hired them to complete the job, but the sale of the house never went through and we didn't need to have it done. They had our down payment and had planned on replacing our windows in our new house once we received proceeds from the sale. A couple months later we contacted them about an estimate on 8 windows and making another 3 windows into a bow window. This time we didn?t even get another quote. There one quote was sufficient enough and our decision was already made. Had to wait a few weeks to get the windows in stock, once they were in we schedule two days for the work to be done. They started off day one doing all of the work needed to be done from the inside. All windows were installed day one. The second day they came to install the aluminum trim on the outside and we done by noon the next day. Had a couple questions about a screen, installation, trim, etc throughout the process and were always able to fix or explain. Overall their professionalism and expertise is excellent. While I hate to admit it, but I they have a customer for life. We may have to keep them honest by getting a couple bids on the next jobs we are looking at completing. Thanks for all your good work.

Very happy how everything turned out.

He was very professional. He knew exactly what he was doing and he was polite. He was here all day and he didn’t bring his own lunch. I brought his lunch. He ate for about 60 minutes and he worked nonstop. That is what I like about him. His name was Blake. The price was reasonable. My husband shopped around and we had heard other people that used them so we had good references. The quality of service was excellent. We love the windows and as a matter of fact he is going to come back and put windows in our kitchen. We want to make a bigger opening so we can view outside better.

Gabe's Did a great job on my roof replacement. The tear off and replacement including replacing a number of sections of plywood, took about a day and a half. They were very processional, polite, efficient and carful not to damage plants during the tear off. The quility of the material used is so much better than shingles you can get from a big lumber store. The shingles they use are Dade County (Florida) approved..meaning strong winds and tons of rain happen down there and contractors are allowed to use this product in that area. I would strongly recommended Gabe's for a new roof.

They came on time and did what they said they were going to do. They were some holes in the false screen that I had. They came back and fixed those. They did not fix the places where the screen was caught. They said that it was the responsibility of the manufacturer because it came from them that way. They were clean and courteous. They always kept me posted when things were in and when things could be done. The only complaint that I had was that the screens had little tucks and were caught.

They got the siding on. They helped me to pick out the color, and the color is nice. However, instead of putting seal around the window they put aluminum, and it?s all bowed out. There are other things that remain to be done: they have not put the gutter back on the house; there is another part that they have not caulked. The initial crew that came out did not do a very good job, but the most recent father and son team did. They even recognized that the aluminum was bowed. It has been a couple of weeks and I have not seen or heard from them. I think that they're a little bit mad because I?m going to have them come back and fix the window. I want this house to be maintenance free. I'm getting older and I was to be able to just enjoy my home and not have to worry about any more projects. I?m very unhappy. They give you the impression that they?re going to do a good job, but this is not good work. I won?t give an F, but it?s making me mad that they didn?t come back. The guys were actually nice, but this work is not good. I won't use them again in the future, if I cannot get my house finished. Job was completed. Siding crew was excellent, but window crew was unprofessional crew terrible. The owner's son had an attitude about the job on the windows. The siding crew had to come back and take a whole day to finish the job.

Quality was good. Installation was poor at first. Gabe bent over backwards to make it right - and it is right now - but it took almost three years and multiple attempts with high quality crew to find and fix the problems caused by the initial poor installation.

They sent Blake (owner's son) and a worker bee to do the work. Totally professional and courteous while they were at the home. WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN!

The workmen arrived promptly. They spent the entire day removing the old windows and door and installed the new windows and door without any problems. Following that, they cleaned up (including vacuuming the interior). The workmen were courteous and professional and I was very pleased with the overall job.

While they were quick installing, they didn't clean up very well, they broke one of the old windows taking it out in the driveway and there was glass left that we had to clean up. Left old parts in the yard. Tried to talk to Gabe, but he wasn't interested in hearing my complaints.

I belong to a neighborhood website and asked in an open forum for the names and experiences in dealing with window and roof replacement in the subdivision. Gabe's Home Improvement got great reviews professionally and ethically, and their bid was the second lowest, with a better rated product and warranty. Missed a call on a Thurs pm but caught up with them early Fri am and wanted to schedule for the following Monday. Juggled schedule and was told they would be @ my house between 830-9 am the following Mon. Promptly @ 845 they arrived and began removal of old windows. They placed drop cloths in the appropriate areas and we finished on the 5 "inside trimming" windows by 11 am. After lunch they continued to work on the outside flashing and have everything completed by 2 pm. Overall they were very efficient and professional, can't wait to see how they work over the winter. Right now I would definitely use them for the rest of the windows and doors replacement. They also are in the roofing field...that's also on the horizon.
